Chapter 476: Chapter 385: The Arrival of the Hill Giant Tribe and the Crisis of the Eternal Giant Turtle

Everything here was custom-made for them.

Enormous tents, constructed from giant logs and thick canvas, were scattered about. They were tall enough for the Giants to stand up straight inside.

In an open space, several massive bonfires were already stacked with wood, and next to them were mountain-like piles of cleaned game.

A young Giant walked up to a huge wooden basin filled with clear water.

He cautiously reached out and touched the rim of the basin, and the smooth texture stunned him.

He then picked up a nearby wooden bowl, larger than his own face, its surface polished to a brilliant sheen.

"Heavens..."

he murmured. ’This is even more exquisite than the stone bowl our tribe leader uses.’

Back in their tribe, they used simple, crudely polished stone tools.

But here, even a single bowl was crafted with such care.

Another Giant took a great interest in a massive iron pot. He even tried to stick his head inside to gauge its size, only to be laughingly pulled away by a companion.

Wuba said nothing, merely watching the novelty and joy on his people’s faces in silence.

The children were already chasing each other around the camp in excitement, while the women gathered around the enormous cooking utensils, chattering animatedly.

As their leader, he had far more to consider than the rest of his tribe.

Seeing this scene before him, the heart that had been heavy with worry over the migration finally began to settle.

’The people living in this territory seem to be very prosperous and safe,’ he thought.

Wuba Tribe Leader had observed them carefully. Most of the humans here were below Tier Four, their combat strength pathetically weak.

’If "Little Guys" like these can survive and thrive in this territory, even if they encounter the great threat "Carlo" spoke of, how powerful could it really be?’

’A threat to the "Little Guys" would be nothing more than a gentle breeze to us Giants!’

Wuba was already starting to look forward to the finely crafted weapons Ug had mentioned multiple times.

’This deal was worth it!’

The Wuba Tribe Leader took a swig of the strong liquor he had brought with him, feeling a sense of comfort spread through his body.

A few hours later, once the Giants had mostly settled in, Raylo, Wuba, and Ug sat by one of the enormous, freshly lit bonfires.

Wuba’s eyes immediately fell on Raylo, the "Little Guy."

He was dressed in a well-tailored nobleman’s suit, his handsome face calm and composed.

Wuba couldn’t help but take a second look.

Although Ug had described it to him more than once—how "Brother Carlo" could transform into a "Little Guy" and even command the legendary Golden Dragon—seeing it happen right before his eyes was still quite a shock.

This human before him was the same towering "Carlo" who had treated them as brothers.

Wuba’s gaze swept over Raylo, then over the Silver Dragon behind him. A storm brewed in his heart, but his face maintained the composure of an adult Giant.

He finally understood why Kado had once said his "brother" was unfathomable.

’Changing forms at will, commanding a Giant Dragon, effortlessly opening spatial rifts...’

’These abilities are beyond the scope of mere "power"; they’re "magical."’

Raylo offered no explanation. He had previously instructed Kado to give Gordo and Ug a heads-up about his "unusual" nature. In Kado’s telling, his brother Carlo was a Hill Giant who could use wondrous Magic.

And Magic, more often than not, was naturally wondrous and incomprehensible.

"Wuba Tribe Leader!"

"Welcome to Black Stone Territory."

Wuba was silent for a moment. He didn’t ask why Raylo was a human, nor did he question anything.

"Carlo."

Wuba’s voice was as deep as rolling thunder.

"Your territory is... much better than we imagined."

It was a heartfelt compliment.

"From now on, this is your home," Raylo said.

"You don’t need to worry about food or shelter. I need your Power, and in return, I will give you the respect you deserve and the best life possible."

He paused, then looked at Ug.

"Ug, from this day forward, you are the Vice Commander of the Black Stone Giant Legion. You will assist Kado in managing all the Giants."

Ug’s head snapped up, his eyes filled with pleasant surprise.

"What do I need to do?" Wuba asked directly.

"I need you, Tribe Leader, to help your people settle in and adapt to life here as quickly as possible. Then, I need the Giants to begin military training and become true warriors!" Raylo said.

"Before long, there may be a war that will sweep across the entire Continent. When that time comes, I will need you to help me destroy the enemies before us."

"True warriors?"

"Hill Giants don’t need training. Every Giant is the mightiest of warriors!"

Wuba’s focus wasn’t on the coming war, but on the words "true warriors."

In his view, the Power of a Hill Giant was innate.

"They will become even more powerful with training..." Raylo said with a smile.

"Just like Kado. His great Power is the result of long-term training."

At the mention of Kado, the Wuba Tribe Leader fell silent. He had to admit, he respected Kado, that young Domain Level Giant.

The arrival of the Hill Giants injected a rough, vigorous energy into the peaceful territory.

But it also brought a happy problem for Raylo, the Lord.

「A few days later.」

「The study in Black Stone Castle.」

Raylo’s finger moved across a huge map of Black Stone Territory. Beneath his fingertip were scaled-down mountains, rivers, and forests.

’This spot won’t work. It’s too close to the wheat fields. One wrong step and half an acre is gone.’

’This place... has plenty of water, but it’s too far from Black Stone Castle, making travel inconvenient.’
