Chapter 844: Chapter 561: Modi Caesar, You Have to Move!

"Count Raylo." Modi Caesar turned around. His voice was hoarse and dry, sounding like two tombstones grinding against each other. "Your reputation across the Continent is much more resounding than that of an old man like me these days."

Raylo made an "after you" gesture, signaling Modi Caesar to take a seat. "I invited you here today, Master, because there is a matter I would like to discuss with you."

Modi Caesar did not sit down. His flickering eyes stared directly at Raylo. "Speak, Count."

Raylo smiled and said, "I invited you here because I would like to ask you and your Undead to move to a new home."

"Move?" Modi Caesar’s voice suddenly rose. For the first time, a clear fluctuation of emotion appeared in his dry and hoarse tone. It had been many years since anyone dared to offend him like this.

"BOOM!"

An aura of death erupted from his withered body, radiating outward!

In the drawing room, the Magic Crystal chandelier instantly dimmed, its light devoured. A thin layer of white frost spread at an astonishing speed across the walls, carpet, tables, and chairs. The air seemed to be drained of all its heat, becoming viscous and freezing, as if they had plunged into an eternal ice cave.

Mage Delin frowned. A faint glimmer of Magic Power flashed around his body, isolating him from the chilling aura of death. This old man was ready to flip the table over the slightest disagreement.

However, Raylo remained standing in place with a smile on his face, as if the force rushing toward him was not a Domain of death capable of freezing one’s soul, but merely a gentle evening breeze in the countryside.

The moment the layer of white frost was about to touch the hem of his clothes—

"HUM!"

A majestic and vast aura rose from within Raylo’s body. It was not the fluctuation of Magic, nor the fiery intensity of Fighting Spirit, but a purer, more tyrannical suppression of life force. It was as if a slumbering Ancient Giant Dragon had just opened its Gold eyes.

CRACKLE!

Faint popping sounds echoed in the air. The freezing aura of death collided with the domineering suppression of life force. There was no earth-shattering boom, but a terrifying clash unfolded on an invisible plane. Centered on the two of them, the space inside the drawing room distorted like ripples on water. The frost that had just spread rapidly melted and receded, like the first snow encountering the scorching Sun.

The two specks of Soul Fire dancing in Modi Caesar’s eye sockets contracted violently.

Catastrophe Level! And this Power seemed to be suppressing his aura of death. It wasn’t just a natural counter; rather, the Level of this Power was simply higher.

"Don’t misunderstand, Master Modi Caesar." Raylo’s smile remained unchanged, and his voice was as gentle as ever. "It’s just a friendly suggestion. I feel that you and your subjects might need a more expansive home."

As he spoke, he casually raised his right hand and gently swiped at the air in front of him.

"RIP!"

A soft sound like fabric tearing echoed. The stable space was easily slashed open like paper beneath Raylo’s fingertips. A pitch-black spatial rift with edges shimmering in silver appeared out of thin air in the center of the drawing room.

Modi Caesar’s pupils shrank drastically.

"Rather than wasting time here, I invite you to come and see something with me, Master." Raylo made an "after you" gesture toward the spatial rift, before taking the lead and stepping inside.

Modi Caesar took a deep look at Mage Delin, whose expression remained normal, and then looked at the spatial rift, the Soul Fire in his eyes flickering erratically. He was very curious. What exactly did this young Lord have up his sleeve? With this thought, he no longer hesitated. His withered body transformed into a streak of black smoke and instantly vanished into the rift.

Mage Delin shook his head and followed closely behind.

***

When Modi Caesar’s vision finally cleared, he froze completely.

He saw a... Skeleton Plain.

As far as the eye could see, there was boundless white. It was a pale land formed from the piled-up remains of countless creatures. Jagged Bone Spikes stuck out like an inverted forest, and massive skulls resembled rolling hills. A thick, black river radiating Negative Energy flowed quietly across the Skeleton Plain.

The sky was an eternal ashen gray. There was no Sun and no moon, only a massive vortex radiating a sickly green light. It rotated slowly, sprinkling despair and deathly stillness upon this lifeless land.

"This is..." For the first time, Modi Caesar’s voice trembled with disbelief. He spread his arms and greedily breathed in the air.

So dense! It was far too dense!

The Death Energy here was several times denser than in the Undead Realm he had cultivated for centuries! Here, he didn’t even need to actively perform Casting; with just a single thought, the earth beneath his feet would offer him an endless army of the Undead!

This was a heaven... tailor-made for a Necromancer! No, this was an entire world! He could feel the vastness and completeness of this space. It possessed its own unique set of rules; it was a complete plane of existence!

"Master Modi Caesar, do you like this gift?" Raylo’s voice rang out from behind him.

Modi Caesar whipped his head around, his Soul Fire burning fiercely in his eyes as he stared fixedly at Raylo. "What do you mean by this?"

"The meaning is quite simple." Raylo spread his hands and smiled. "I am gifting this world to you."

Gifting it... to me? Gifting me an entire world? He was no fool. He was well aware of the value of an independent plane. This was a fortune that could no longer be measured in Gold Coins; it was the foundation for the rise of a civilization!

He fell silent for a moment before asking hoarsely, "What is the price?"

"Very simple."
