Giant Dragon Lord: Starting from Daily Intelligence
Chapter 845 - 561: Modi Caesar, You Have to Move!
Chapter 845: Chapter 561: Modi Caesar, You Have to Move!
The smile on Raylo’s face slowly faded.
"Take your Undead Realm and leave the Northern Territory. Go to the South, to those nations belonging to the Light Holy See, and unleash an... Undead Celestial Calamity."
Modi Caesar’s Soul Fire suddenly solidified.
Go to the South?
Wage war against the Light Holy See?
Although he was naturally at odds with the Light Holy See, taking the initiative to provoke a war in places where Divine Authority was deeply rooted was tantamount to a suicide mission.
The foundations of the Light Holy See were far deeper than the world imagined.
He looked at Raylo coldly. "You want to use me as your weapon?"
"You could understand it that way," Raylo said without evasion. "But you should know that you don’t have many choices."
Modi Caesar let out a harsh, cold laugh.
"Count Raylo, I admit this Undead World is quite tempting. But what makes you think I will follow your orders? Don’t forget, I too am a Catastrophe Level entity!"
"I’m not commanding you; I’m stating a fact," Raylo calmly narrated the cruel truth. "Master Modi Caesar, times have changed.
"Mage City and the Dragon Realm, led by the Red Dragon Empire, have allied to declare war on the Light Holy See. The entire northern Continent is about to be integrated into a war machine. Tell me, when this machine charges full speed at its enemies, would it allow an uncontrolled, volatile Undead Realm to exist in its rear?"
Raylo took a step forward, looking directly into Modi Caesar’s eyes.
"Previously, Mage City and the Giant Dragons had no time to deal with you because everyone was maintaining a fragile peace. But now, the war has begun.
"Either you get ’cleaned up’ by us to eliminate any hidden dangers for the Northern Alliance Army, having your Undead Realm razed to the ground and your soul completely annihilated.
"Or, you accept my ’suggestion’."
Raylo pointed to the boundless land of bones beneath their feet.
"You will have a complete world as your foundation and retreat, a continuous stream of troops, and inexhaustible Death Energy. And all you have to do is go where you were meant to go and fight the enemies you were meant to fight.
"Make your choice, Master. Be crushed, or... move to a broader stage?"
The conflict in the reception room had been a standoff of Power.
But here, in this Undead World, what Raylo presented was an overt scheme.
An overt scheme that you knew was a trap, yet had no choice but to jump into.
Modi Caesar fell silent.
His eye sockets, burning with Soul Fire, stared fixedly at Raylo’s young face.
He had to admit that Raylo was telling the truth.
The Northern Territory could no longer tolerate him.
If he refused today, he might not even have to wait for Mage City to strike; this young man before him and the Legendary Mage concealing his aura nearby would be the first to use him as a sacrificial lamb to establish dominance.
And if he agreed...
He would gain a world he had only dreamed of.
A long time passed.
"HEH... HEH HEH HEH..."
Modi Caesar let out a string of dry, unpleasant laughter.
"So, I should thank you for your good intentions, Count Raylo?"
"You’re welcome." Raylo smiled once again. "Master Modi Caesar, we have never been enemies, have we?"
Modi Caesar’s laughter abruptly ceased.
His withered hand reached into his Mage Robe, fumbled for a moment, and pulled out a yellowed Scroll made of some kind of Sea Beast Hide, tossing it directly to Raylo.
"I never owe anyone favors. Consider this my payment."
Raylo caught the Scroll in confusion. Upon unrolling it, he couldn’t help but raise his eyebrows.
It was a Nautical Chart.
A meticulously drawn Nautical Chart detailing ocean currents, islands, and dangerous zones.
At the far end of the Nautical Chart, a place named "Whale Song Island" was marked with a bright red treasure chest.
The Pirate King’s... Treasure!
Raylo recalled previous intelligence.
Modi Caesar had once launched an expedition to the Endless Sea in search of the Pirate King’s Treasure, only to encounter a Catastrophe Level Deep Sea Giant Whale on the outskirts of Whale Song Island, forcing him to return in defeat.
He never expected that, in a twist of fate, this Treasure Map would end up in his hands.
"That Deep Sea Giant Whale is not easy to deal with," Modi Caesar warned coldly. "It can manipulate the resonance of the ocean. In the sea, its Power is amplified exponentially."
"Thank you for the warning, Master." Raylo put away the Nautical Chart, in high spirits.
This negotiation had not only solved a major problem but also unexpectedly yielded a clue to the Pirate King’s Treasure. It was a pleasant surprise.
"Then, to a pleasant cooperation?" Raylo extended his hand.
Modi Caesar ignored the outstretched hand. He simply turned around, gazing at this Undead World that now belonged to him, and asked in a hoarse voice, "I need time to prepare."
"Half a month," Raylo said decisively. "In half a month, Mage City will assist you in this ’relocation’."
"Alright."
Modi Caesar uttered just a single word before falling silent. He was already eager to explore this brand-new world.
Raylo smiled faintly, exchanged a glance with Mage Delin, and tore open another spatial rift.
The figures of the two men vanished into the rift.
Only Modi Caesar remained on the Skeleton Plain.
He felt the Death Energy in the air that made his very soul tremble. A long time later, a roar of sheer ecstasy and ambition—suppressed for hundreds of years—echoed throughout the entire Undead World!
If he could completely control this world, then when he unleashed an Undead Celestial Calamity sweeping across the Continent from here, this new era would not only belong to the living but could equally belong to... the dead!

Returning to his study, Raylo casually tossed the Nautical Chart made of Sea Beast Hide onto his desk with a soft THUD.
"This Modi Caesar is actually quite an interesting person." Raylo picked up the long-cooled black tea on his desk and downed it in one gulp, a playful smile on his face. "Being forced to risk his life in the South, yet he actually gave a thank-you gift before leaving."
Mage Delin walked up to the desk, picked up the Nautical Chart, and glanced over it. His gaze lingered on "Whale Song Island" and the bright red treasure chest mark for a moment.
"The Pirate King’s Treasure... This is no small gift," Mage Delin said calmly. "Rumor has it that this Pirate King once roamed the Endless Sea, possessing wealth that could rival nations, and even plundered the lairs of Giant Dragons. His Treasure is enough to make any Kingdom envious.
"The Deep Sea Giant Whale he contracted with is at least High Tier Catastrophe Level. When I went out to sea in the past, I sensed its aura from afar; it’s not far from the Catastrophe Level Peak."
Raylo stretched his back and leaned against his chair.
"Perfect. We are about to conquer the Radiant Sun Islands. Taming this Deep Sea Giant Whale will be a tremendous help in our conquest and rule over the Radiant Sun Islands."
Mage Delin rolled up the Nautical Chart and placed it back on the desk.
"Taming it?" Mage Delin looked at Raylo and said, "That Deep Sea Giant Whale has lived through ancient times; it’s at least a thousand years old. Such an entity won’t be easy to tame, will it?"
Raylo smiled and shared the intelligence he had obtained with Mage Delin. Among the Pirate King’s Treasure was a Treasure called the "Heart of the Deep Sea." By grasping this "Heart of the Deep Sea," one could control the Deep Sea Giant Whale.
"I see. I will accompany you when the time comes," Mage Delin said.
"That works out well. Thank you, Master!"

Time flew by, and in the blink of an eye, a week had passed.
Raylo summoned Gaius, Ed, Alex, Bolin, and others, organizing preparations for the future deployment of troops to conquer the Fiery Sun Kingdom and the Radiant Duchy.
Just then, a Personal Guard pushed open the door and reported, "My Lord, a special guest wishes to see you."
"A special guest?" Raylo raised an eyebrow.
"He claims... to be your neighbor, and wants to discuss a business deal concerning the future."
Ed paused and added, "He requests a secret meeting, and moreover, he says he is an old friend of yours."
Karachi?
The corners of Raylo’s lips curled up into a smile.
The King of the Fiery Sun Kingdom, Karchi Fiery Sun.
"Interesting." Raylo waved his hand. "Bring him to my study."
