Chapter 848: Chapter 563: Traveling with the Sage, Searching for the Truth of the Giant Dragon Realm

Seeing no response, Karachi, seated on the throne, took a deep breath. Suppressing the tremendous shock in his heart, he forced a hint of resolve onto his pale face.

He raised his hand and waved it forcefully. "Guards!"

The side doors of the hall burst open with a loud BANG. Squads of royal Knights clad in Heavy Armor filed in, radiating murderous intent.

"Take down everyone who opposed the expulsion of the Holy See, and throw them into the dungeon!"

The Knights charged at the group of dazed and despondent nobles. Faced with the prepared Magic Ropes and gleaming swords, no one dared to resist anymore.

Raylo glanced at Karachi and gave a faint nod.

Immediately after, under everyone’s gazes of awe and fear, Raylo took a step forward. The space in front of him rippled, and his figure vanished into thin air from within the hall, as if he had never been there.

He arrived, bringing death and order. He departed, leaving behind fear and submission.

It wasn’t until Raylo left that Karachi realized his back was drenched in cold sweat. He raised his slightly trembling hands, looking at the empty center of the hall and the shocking hole in the wall. A complex expression of bitterness mixed with relief appeared on his face.

"So this is the Catastrophe Level..." he thought. "With a mere gesture, one can decide the fate of a Kingdom. This is the Power that even a King must look up to."

Ten thousand meters in the sky.

Fierce winds whipped at Raylo’s robes. The city below had already restored order; squads of Knights loyal to the royal family were purging the remaining forces of the Light Holy See under Karachi’s orders.

Everything was proceeding methodically.

The Domain Level Powerhouses among the diehard loyalists of the Light Holy See had all been taken down. With Karachi’s abilities, it was more than enough for him to complete the subsequent purge and reorganization of power. In fact, one could say he was much better at playing this kind of political game than Raylo.

Right at this moment, a mark in Raylo’s Sea of Spiritual suddenly grew slightly warm. An old and gentle voice rang directly in his mind.

"Lord Raylo, if it is convenient, please make a trip to Black Stone City. I am waiting here."

"Austin Sage?" Raylo raised an eyebrow. "Why did he come in person?" he wondered.

Raylo patted Coal Ball, who was rolling around at his feet. "We’re heading back."

"ROAR!"

Coal Ball let out a low growl and tore open a spatial rift leading to Black Stone City.

Black Stone City Plaza.

The Mobile Alchemy Workshop, sprawled out like a mechanical Giant Beast, was currently emitting a low HUM. When Raylo pushed open the heavy doors of the workshop, a wave of scorching heat washed over his face.

Inside the workshop hall, three figures were conversing softly around the massive Furnace of All Things in the center, which was continuously inhaling and exhaling various materials.

They were none other than Mage Delin, Mage Wendel, and... Austin Sage.

"Austin Sage," Raylo greeted as he stepped forward and bowed.

"You’re back." Austin Sage turned around with a hint of a smile on his face. His gaze lingered on Raylo for a moment before he praised him, "Not bad. Your aura is even more condensed and profound than last time. It seems you have preliminarily stabilized your Catastrophe Level Power."

His gaze shifted back to the Furnace of All Things that Mage Delin and Mage Wendel were studying. His tone carried a hint of unconcealable marvel and regret.

"Phillips’s concept... What a rare genius. The Decomposition of all things, the Reorganization of all things—he had almost touched the authority of the Creator. If not for that accident, the position of the fourth Sage in Mage City should have been his."

Hearing this, Mage Delin and Mage Wendel also wore expressions of pity. The fall of Mage Phillips was a tremendous loss to the entire Magic Realm.

After a brief exchange of pleasantries, Austin Sage looked at Raylo and stated his purpose for coming. "I came this time to invite you to accompany me on a trip to the Giant Dragon Realm.

"We were busy with forming an alliance with the Red Dragon Empire some time ago, which caused some delays, so the trip to the Giant Dragon Realm has been postponed until now."

"I naturally won’t refuse a Sage’s invitation," Raylo agreed. "However, before we set off, I have something here that Mage City might be interested in."

Saying so, under the curious gazes of the three Grand Mages, Raylo took out a thick stack of ancient Stone Slabs engraved with complex diagrams and text from his Spatial Bag.

They were none other than the Stone Slabs recording the Dragon Knight Inheritance.

Austin Sage merely glanced at them, and a gleam flashed in his eyes. He reached out with his withered fingers, gently tracing the lines filled with a primordial aura on the Stone Slabs.

"Is this... a legacy left behind by the Dragon Worship Cult from the primeval era?"

"You have a good eye, Master." Raylo nodded in acknowledgment. "The Black Stone Territory has already conducted preliminary analysis and optimization of this inheritance. Currently, we have successfully developed Heritage Potions below the Tier Five Domain Level.

"At present, we are trying to overcome the difficulties of the Tier Five Domain Level Heritage Potion, but the progress is very slow."

A complete, mass-producible Knight inheritance held immeasurable value! It meant that as long as there were enough resources, a powerful Knight legion could be continuously created! For Raylo, Mage City was the best cooperative partner for researching this inheritance.

"I have decided to hand this Dragon Knight Inheritance over to Mage City to research it together with us," Raylo said, looking at Austin Sage. "This is to accelerate the development speed of the Tier Five Potion, and even higher-tier inheritances.

"The continental war is imminent. We need more and stronger Power to fight against the Light Holy See."

Austin Sage looked deeply at Raylo for a long time before he slowly spoke, his voice incomparably solemn.
