The lid of the first security vault didn’t just open; it split down the center under the sheer physical weight of The Ash Remnant. Inside the dark metal lining lay hundreds of unrefined, high-density blue crystals, their thick, liquid glare bouncing off the granite walls and turning the cold gray frost on the floor into a bright, glowing blue mirror.

Jun-ho stood perfectly straight in his large rubber boots, his left hand keeping a firm, steady grip on the rough black hemp wrap of his sword. The stone-gray slabs of his chest armor felt warm against his ribs, his extended mana lake hummed in a slow, deep circle that kept his skin perfectly dry despite the heavy steam rising from the cracked vaults.

Right at the corner of his eye, the solid black numbers were waiting.

[Level: 29]

[Mana: 1200/6500]

[ Multiplier State: 100x Vault Core Active]

Lilith didn’t stay near the iron pillars where the broken mages lay. She moved across the frozen granite tiles with a slow, swaying posture that made the tight crimson leather of her outfit rustle softly against his stone armor. Her long, exceptionally smooth legs cut a clean line through the blue glare, her narrow waist twisting with a deliberate, heavy rhythm that accentuated the full, perfect curve of her round hips.

She walked right up to Jun-ho’s side, her voluptuous frame leaning its entire weight flat against his bare upper arm. Her massive, half-visible chest rose and fell in quick, deep breaths, the tight crimson leather straining against her rounded fullness as she tilted her head up. Her wide crimson eyes glowed with a sudden, intense fire that had nothing to do with the system logic, her full red lips parting into a low, breathless murmur that carried the sharp scent of raw sulfur and dark incense straight to his neck.

"You’re a very terrifying man, Kang Jun-ho," Lilith whispered, her voice dropping into a smooth, velvety register that trembled slightly with a sudden, deep emotion. Her long fingers, tipped with sharp crimson nails, slid slowly up his bare arm, her grip tightening until her palms were burning hot against his cool skin.

"I’ve run the black-market lines for ten years, big guy. I’ve seen legacy lords and master mages try to handle the Phase 3 domain, but they all choked on the circulation. But you? You don’t even blink. Lock me into your book. I don’t want the corporate paper money anymore—I want to belong to your line."

She was falling for him. It wasn’t the standard contract calculation of a rogue broker; her primitive demon instincts had recognized the raw, absolute weight of the Ash Monarch phase, her spirit locking onto his presence with a fierce, submissive passion that made her knees tremble against his boots.

"The registry has room," Jun-ho said flatly, his face an unmoving sheet of stone under his gray hood.

He reached into his canvas bag with his bare right hand, his fingers closing around the cold brass lock of The Monarch’s Ledger.

"Hey," a sharp, flat voice cut through the warm air of the vault.

Eun-bi walked up from the central desk, her canvas bag slung tight across her gray flannel shirt. Her dark hair was messy, loose strands sticking to her forehead from the sweat of the lower tunnels, but her sharp face was rigid, her fingers keeping her silver trauma scissors clutched loose in her right hand. She stepped right between them, her bare thigh pressing hard against the side of Jun-ho’s boot as she gave Lilith a cold, biting look.

"The database log is still running the timer, idiot," Eun-bi said, her voice dropping into that flat, public-sector drawl that was thick with an intense, sharp jealousy.

"The multi-option screen requires a clear distribution before the system closes the slot. If you let this demon girl choke the resource line with her feelings, the regional office will see the missing digits on their terminal screens before we can even load the carts."

Rea slid off the secondary vault box with a slow, fluid stride that made the high-slashed silk of her black tunic rustle loudly against her long bare legs. Her golden-blue eyes spun slowly in a lazy, dangerous circle, her full crimson lips tightening into a thin, jealous line as she walked right up to Jun-ho’s opposite shoulder, her voluptuous hourglass shape pressing close against his armor.

"The little nurse is right, big guy," Rea murmured, her wild orchid perfume cutting sharp through Lilith’s sulfur incense. Her bare arm traced a slow line down his sleeve with a heavy, possessive friction. "The demon girl is a bit too greedy with her fingers. The ledger belongs to the private detail, not her private bedroom."

Lilith let out a low, dangerous growl through her teeth, her crimson eyes flaring with a dark fire as her voluptuous hips leaned even closer into Jun-ho’s side, her large chest pressing flat against his ribs to mark her territory. "The book has enough mana for all of us, water girl. But his hand belongs to the core line."

Jun-ho didn’t pull back from either woman. He focused his mind entirely on the ledger casing under his canvas flap, letting his six-thousand-point mana reserve flood straight into the interface.

[The Monarch’s Ledger System Active.]

[Target Group: Private Raid Detail Framework.]

[Resource Cost: 2,000 Mana points from the unrefined crystals.]

[Applying 100x Multiplier to Resource Allocation...]

A sudden, freezing wave of white mana shot out of the six steel vaults, splitting the stone casing into clean gray splinters as the energy divided itself across their status screens.

[Soul Bind Permanent: Demon Rogue ’Lilith’ is locked to your registry.]

[All stealth and critical drop values multiplied by an additional 10x value.]

Right then, a hidden iron partition in the center of the floorboards gave a loud, splintering groan under the pressure of the ledger’s mana. A small, ancient stone trapdoor popped open near the desk, exposing a low, red-glowing opening that led down into an unregistered underground demon trading portal. Inside the dark stone box lay a legendary-grade core accessory—a heavy, black iron chain collar that hummed with a permanent, unfiltered phase current.

Before Eun-bi could log the item on her clipboard, a massive, deafening BOOM exploded from the concrete wharf outside the vault.

The three-layer stone barrier Tae-woo’s squad had raised didn’t just rattle; it buckled inward as a massive corporate reinforcement wave from the Sun God Guild main detail hit the outer doors. Forty heavy enforcers in thick, polished grey steel plates burst through the dust, their automated crossbows primed with blue tracking arrows.

"Hold the center!" Tae-woo roared, his massive Tier 4 elite frame making the granite floor tiles creak as he jammed his wide block of basin rock flat into the dirt lane. The other four vanguards locked their stone barriers right next to his shoulders, forming an unbroken mountain wall across the narrow floor.

The forty blue tracking arrows hit the dark rock barriers with a rapid series of dull, harmless clicks that didn’t leave a single white mark on the stone.

Jun-ho raised The Ash Remnant with his left hand, the new black hemp wrap solid and dry in his grip as the Phase 3 domain frost began to spread out toward the new enforcers’ boots, his face perfectly calm under his gray hood as the solid black text at the bottom of his eye mapped out the final clearance of the central district.
