Li Ziyu’s eyes lit up as he stared at the system notification that had just appeared.

‘The final material for the Soul Energy Collector… I finally have it! The Gathering Organ!’

‘So that’s where the organ comes from—the Turtle-shaped Void Beetle.’

The Turtle-shaped Void Beetle looked a lot like a june bug, but it was massive. Li Ziyu estimated it to be about four meters long.

It was a real monster.

This creature’s shell was weaker than that of other Void Beetles, but it could breathe fire!

It was a very special kind of flame, one that seemed to possess both magical and corrosive Attributes.

‘Hmm, it’s a lot like that fire-breathing creature that burrows up from underground in Starship Troopers.’

This one didn’t burrow through the ground, though. It tunneled through the Void itself.

That was even more of a headache than burrowing through the ground.

There weren’t many Turtle-shaped Void Beetles among the ones that had attacked Damenevsky.

Only two.

Thank goodness there were only two. If there had been more, Li Ziyu felt he might not have bothered trying to save Damenevsky.

These insects dealt area-of-effect damage.

A single gout of flame could wipe out a huge number of Low Level Skeleton Undead. The losses would have been unbearable.

He now had all the materials needed to build the Soul Energy Collector.

Without a moment’s hesitation, Li Ziyu began construction.

The Soul Energy Collector wasn’t a large structure, and construction wouldn’t take long. All he had to do was wait.

In less than an hour, a system notification announced that the Soul Energy Collector’s construction was complete.

When Li Ziyu arrived from the main hall, he was surprised to find Damenevsky already there. He had even arrived a moment earlier and was curiously inspecting the new structure.

Damenevsky didn’t know the purpose of the building that had just appeared.

But from its appearance, he could tell its style was different from the other buildings. A part of it seemed to be related to the Void Creatures.

Li Ziyu greeted Damenevsky, then turned his attention to the Soul Energy Collector.

The Soul Energy Collector was a funnel-shaped structure divided into an upper and lower section. Its main body was constructed from Skeletons.

It was an open-air structure, revealing two out-of-place-looking, fleshy organs inside.

The Gathering Organ was situated in the upper section, and the Energy Conversion Organ was in the lower one.

Li Ziyu understood with a single glance. It was a simple case of Splicing.

The Gathering Organ would condense Energy from the Void and, through a series of operations, send it into the Energy Conversion Organ. That was how it collected Soul Energy.

It wasn’t very complicated.

He opened the interface to take a look.

As long as he could build enough Soul Energy Collectors, he could create an endless stream of High Level Undead Species.

And the Sea of the Dead itself would undergo a qualitative transformation!
