The Silver Crest Guild headquarters was shaking vehemently and screams and cries filled the air.
At the lobby, blood was splattered everywhere. Fragmented body parts could be seen on the ground, walls, and the counter.
Heads were severed cleanly from their necks.
Ribs were shattered into fragments.
Hearts, liver and lungs mixed with blood could be seen everywhere.
Armor was broken.
Weapons were shattered into many pieces.

On the second floor, Riven led the charge, slaughtering every member of the Silver Crest Guild in his path.
His massive shield was dripping with fresh human blood. Across his breastplate was human flesh, with blood dripping down slowly.
A thick, powerful bloodlust aura surrounded him like a second skin. To his left was Kiera, covered in blood.
Still, the devilish grin on her face did not diminish in the slightest as she smashed her axe over her opponent’s head, shattering it into pieces.
She and Riven were the vanguard of the mission.
To many, she was even more ferocious than Riven.
Her grin and maniacal laughter even scared members of the Crimson Arc Guild. If she were not part of their guild, they would have escaped with their greatest speed instead of facing such a demon.
Just as Riven wanted to enter another room, he halted in his tracks. His gaze locked onto the figure descending from the top floor.
He and Neris stared at each other for a second before they rushed forward.
The passage creaked heavily beneath their boots.
"Die!" Neris shouted, her expression grim and her killing intent overflowing.
She had never hated anyone the way she hated Riven and the Crimson Arc Guild. The plans she had been working on for years had been rendered useless by them.
Her ticket out of this forsaken world had been taken from her.
How could she not be furious?
She blamed them.
She blamed them for everything that had happened to them.
She blamed them for Garron’s death.
Vengeance boiled in her blood, and her expression twisted into savage ferocity.
"Iron Feather Sweep!"
Launching into the air, her lance blurred, leaving behind countless afterimages that created overhead and underhand thrusts, making them almost impossible to defend against.
It moved so incredibly fast that it blurred into a silver fan. Each strike had not even finished before the next one arrived, giving Riven almost no time to react.
But how could Riven be overwhelmed so easily?
"Fortress Plant!"
He reacted swiftly as he dropped into a wide horse stance, sank his weight low, and drove the bottom edge of his shield into the passage floor, creating an immovable anchor wall against the incoming attack.
The stone floor cracked beneath the tremendous force.
Dust rose into the air.
His muscles bulged beneath his armor as he firmly rooted himself in place.
His breathing remained calm.
His gaze never wavered from the incoming attack.
Clank! Clank! Clank!
The lance struck the shield in quick succession, sparks flying everywhere.
Each impact echoed throughout the narrow passage.
The walls trembled repeatedly.
Neris did not hold anything back, pushing her strikes to the absolute limit.
Every thrust became faster than the previous one.
Her spear transformed into countless silver streaks.
The relentless barrage continued without pause.
She attacked from above.

She attacked from both sides, hoping to exploit even the smallest opening. Even under such a terrifying barrage, Riven’s defense did not shake nor falter.
He maintained his stable stance like Mount Tai.
Every strike landed squarely upon his shield.

His boots dug deeper into the cracked floor.
His arms remained as steady as iron pillars.
Watching the exchange, several members of both guilds unconsciously held their breaths.
Neither of them expected Riven’s defense to be this monstrous.
To many, it felt as though Neris was striking against an indestructible fortress rather than a human.
Realizing her attack was not working, Neris retreated with her movement skill, creating a short distance between them.
Her body landed lightly several meters away and the tip of her lance pointed directly toward Riven.
She furrowed her brows.
’Damned bastard,’ she cursed inwardly.
Her breathing became slightly heavier and her hands tightened around her weapon. She had expected to break through his defense after such a fierce assault.
Instead...
She had failed completely.
She squinted, and a dangerous glint appeared deep within her pupils. She did not believe she couldn’t break Riven’s defense.
This was not the first time she was fighting a Tank, and she knew how to handle them.
Every Tank possessed limits.
Every defense eventually collapsed.
She only needed to find the right opportunity.
Suddenly, the air around her rippled and thick mana gathered around her body.
The surrounding Spirit Energy surged wildly toward her and the temperature inside the corridor seemed to rise.

Its sharp aura caused the surrounding air to whistle loudly. Her movements were fluid and fast, impossible for the eyes to follow.
She twisted gracefully in midair.
The momentum behind the attack continued increasing.
The higher she rose... The more terrifying the pressure became.
The entire passage seemed to darken beneath the overwhelming force descending from above.
