The middle-aged man nodded, he bore no malice.

Adam was dumbfounded, not knowing what to say.

"Alright, having said so much, I can’t hold on much longer, the function of this world goes far beyond simply storing spiritual pasts, it seems to have many other functions, but I didn’t pay much attention back then, so I haven’t researched it much, you’ll have to discover them yourself."

After finishing, the middle-aged man didn’t give Adam a chance to refuse, his figure directly dissipated.

Where his figure vanished, a rhombus-shaped starlight crystal appeared, the crystal lit up, drawing a breath of aura from Adam’s body and merging it into itself.

Adam instantly felt a trace of connection with the crystal.

With a thought, the starlight crystal flew into his hand, he suddenly felt a sense of control over the pitch-black space around him.

"Retract!"

He shouted lightly, and the boundless pitch-black expanse suddenly contracted, finally, it turned into a black sphere orbiting the starlight crystal.

He left that pitch-black space and appeared back in reality.

Adam looked at the starlight crystal in his hand, filled with shock and curiosity.

This seemingly ordinary crystal could carry such mysterious power and even establish a connection with him, granting him control over the space.

"Have this many Saints been here?" Adam muttered to himself, he could feel the massive energy and complex information contained within.

He closed his eyes, concentrated his spirit, and attempted to probe deeper mysteries, gradually, his consciousness entered the crystal, and an entirely new world unfolded before his eyes.

The world was filled with colors, lights, and shadows, he saw silhouettes of countless people shuttling, communicating, and fighting across their respective times and space-times, each shadow represented a person’s spiritual past, and many were Saints.

Furthermore, Adam could actively extract someone’s spiritual past, turn it into a streak of starlight, and place it within the space.

Adam marveled at this miraculous world and began to explore carefully, he discovered he could manipulate this world with his thoughts, even altering destinies within some people’s spiritual pasts.

His eyes narrowed instantly, he figured out how to utilize this space.

Event simulation.

As long as an event was stored in the starlight, even if it hadn’t happened yet, he could come here in advance to simulate it, an incredibly overpowered ability.

Additionally, this space could serve as a bridge to the real world, allowing him to transmit thoughts and consciousness to others, though limited to those who had entered this world.

But that was formidable enough, this was practically an information hub.

Adam felt excited, while the destructive power might not be great, the functionality was heaven-defying.

He took a deep breath, looking at the flashing streaks of starlight within the space, those were the spiritual pasts Aria and the others had integrated into, he could now enter and check on them.

"Let me give you guys a hand!"

The corners of Adam’s mouth curled up as he tapped into one of the streaks.

Night fell, deep within the silent forest, moonlight filtered through dense leaves, casting mottled shadows on the ground.

A low roar shattered the tranquility, shaking the surrounding trees, a massive demonic beast stepped out from the darkness, its eyes flickered with a gloomy green light, as if it could devour everything.

A young man wielding a sword stared resolutely at the beast, although his face was covered in sweat, an unyielding light flashed in his eyes.

"Come on, you evil beast!" Vale shouted, his voice echoing through the forest.

The beast seemed enraged by the provocation, it let out a deafening roar and lunged at him.

Vale’s figure flashed, nimbly dodging, his sword transformed into a streak of silver light, stabbing toward the beast’s abdomen.

However, the hide was exceptionally tough, his sword only left a shallow scratch.

The beast turned in fury, swatting massive claws at Vale, he retreated while swinging his sword to block.

Bang!

Vale was swatted several meters away, crashing onto the ground, blood spilled from the corner of his mouth.

But he did not give up, he struggled to stand, gaze growing more resolute.

I cannot lose!

He took a deep breath and lunged again, this time, rather than trying to impale the beast, he used his sword to continuously slash and scar its body.

Enraged, the beast attacked madly in return, Vale dodged left and right, searching for an opening.

"Found it!" Joy flashed across Vale’s eyes.

His figure flashed, evading the attack while thrusting toward the beast’s neck, this time, his longsword pierced through the hide, blood spurted wildly.

The beast let out an agonizing roar, shaking its head frantically, but Vale gripped the hilt tightly, letting the beast thrash him about, finally, his sword plunged completely into its neck.

The demonic beast let out a mournful howl and collapsed with a resounding crash.

Panting heavily, Vale sat on the ground, he looked at the fallen beast, filled with accomplishment.

"I won!" Vale shouted, voice brimming with pride.

He stood up, patted the dust off, violently ripped his clothes to shreds, and shouted while completely stark naked. "Come at me, you evil beasts! Your grandpa is here to hack you all down!"

Then he marched toward the depths of the forest.

Adam was speechless.

He looked at that stark naked, scar-covered man, the corners of his mouth twitching.

One must know, the starlight he had entered belonged to Aria.

The method of experiencing a spiritual past was to enter the body of the original Saint and feel everything alongside them, of course, Adam’s situation was different, his circumstances were special.

Adam simply could not imagine what mood Aria must be in right now, being inside this man’s body, nor could he imagine Aria becoming a battle maniac who loved to rip her clothes off.

He could pull Aria’s spirit out, but then all her previous efforts would be wasted, therefore, Adam chose to just stand by and watch.

Because he was the master of the Starlight Crystal, he knew exactly what this Saint’s philosophy was and what this trial was meant to test.
