"Fellow villagers, you have been bewildered by the evil thoughts of this statue, it is not your patron deity but an Evil God, it is collecting your evil thoughts and converting them into the Evil God’s power, only by destroying it can you save your home."

His voice was like a grand bell, containing imperceptible auditory power, attempting to wake everyone.

The villagers did not believe him, they thought Adam was blaspheming their faith and provoking their bottom line.
