Inside the hall, the Zero Puppet woke up the troublemakers and began the interrogation.
The troublemakers, who were high not long ago, were petrified in fear right now. They wanted to escape, but they were locked under pressure.
Boom!
The next second, the pressure slightly increased. The troublemakers were close to death. Their bones and internal organs were hurting.
Finally, one of them didn’t dare to endure the pressure anymore; he was ready to confess. After seeing that one of them was ready to do that, the others were ready to confess as well.
The Zero Puppet then began the recordings. It didn’t take long for everyone to spill the beans. The troublemakers didn’t know who was standing in front of them.
The pressure was making it impossible for them to raise their heads. When everyone finished with their confession, the Zero Puppet knocked them out. All of them fell unconscious on the ground again.

The status appeared in front of my eyes. My gaze immediately fell on the core stats. Seeing that it had increased, I sighed in relief.
Then my gaze fell on the other stats. They had improved as well. Then I closed the status panel.
I appeared back in the room. Then I began to get ready.
30 minutes later,
I appeared in the hall and saw the Zero Puppet. I saw the unconscious men on the ground.
A quick gleam appeared in my eyes.
"What did you find?" I asked.
"Master, the magic smoke plant was sold by a mysterious person. But they hadn’t seen him in the city before," the Zero Puppet said.
Hearing that, doubts in my heart rose.
"Alright," I said. Then I brought the Zero Puppet outside.
"I’m going to see the City Lord today. You continue to monitor the Manager in the pet shop. You don’t have to interfere; just collect the intel."
"Like today, report to me on time," I said to the puppet.
The puppet agreed and left the place through the window.
After getting ready, I left the room. I came to the ground floor and saw the members. Everyone was ready to go to the City Lord’s office.
"Master, we are ready to go," Otto said.
The others agreed as well. I had heard the intel from them last night. They didn’t get any major breakthrough, so I decided to take them with me to the City Lord’s office.
A few minutes later,
We came to the hotel lobby. The staff behind the admin desk looked toward us. They had already rejected those invitations.
Yet, there were visitors in the lobby. My gaze swept across them as a few people rushed towards us.
"Appraiser Frank, it’s nice to meet you here."
"Appraiser Frank, thanks for visiting our city."
One by one, the people started speaking to me. I listened to them before saying, "I’m going to the City Lord’s office. I don’t have much time."
"We can meet in Crystal City some other day," I added.
Hearing that, the faces of the people showed disappointment. But they couldn’t do much here. They could only helplessly make way.
I took the members and exited the hotel. We approached the cab drivers, then we sat inside one of the cabs.
A few minutes later,
The cab departed from the place and went toward the City Lord’s office.
"Master, is the City Lord available?" Otto asked.
"The hotel staff said so, we will see," I replied calmly.
Otto and Patrick looked at each other. They didn’t know the purpose of going there. Even Hank and Old Man Rock frowned.
Lately, they didn’t know what their Master was planning.
10 minutes later,
The cab driver stopped in front of the City Lord’s office. We stepped out. I paid the fare to the driver, and then we started walking up to the gate.
The guards there were surprised because they felt the people coming towards them were stronger than them.
We arrived in front of the gate, and I stated my purpose to the guard. The guard was taken aback. One of them rushed to the Captain and informed him.
The Captain came over immediately and led us inside.
"Appraiser Frank, the City Lord is waiting for you. He was outside the city just a day ago, but after learning about your visit, he returned to the city," the Captain explained.
I smiled and said, "It’s nice of him."
We then reached the main hall. The Captain stopped there and signaled us to enter. Then we walked inside.
My gaze fell on the person sitting on the main seat. He was a middle-aged man with broad shoulders. His body was beaming with energy.
It reminded me of a physique-type wizard.
