Chapter 692: The Grand Finale (Part 2)

  • Next Chapter

Li Wei arrived at a rift in high-dimensional space-time, just outside the Azure Sky Sanctuary.

Several figures were already waiting for him here.

Li Wei scanned the group.

The successor of the Time Dragon, a Divine Spirit who had mastered the Law of Time—Saint Xi.

The successor of the last Dragon God, a Divine Spirit who had mastered the Holy Law—Saint Dragon King.

The Divine Spirit who had mastered the Power Law—Beast King.

The Divine Spirit who had mastered the Law of Life—Elf King.

The Divine Spirit who had mastered the Law of Cause and Effect—the Great Sage.

…

Five Divine Spirits from the Azure Sky World were waiting for Li Wei.

The group was waiting to see Li Wei off before heading to other worlds to seek allies.

Saint Xi looked at Li Wei and said, “I have seen the future. We’re sure to win.”

Li Wei smiled and said, “I believe you.”

Saint Dragon King said, “This journey will be incredibly dangerous. Be careful.”

Li Wei nodded. “Mm, I know.”

The Beast King, Elf King, and Great Sage said, “We’ll see each other again.”

Li Wei let out a laugh. “Just don’t you all go dying on me. No matter what, I’m coming back.”

“HAHAHAHA…” Beast King roared with laughter upon hearing this.

A moment later, the laughter died down. The group exchanged a look, then turned and departed without a backward glance.

Saint Xi and the others set off for other, unknown worlds to rally allies.

Li Wei went alone into High-dimensional Space-Time to ambush the gods.

Li Wei tilted his head back, looking up at the chaotic, hazy cosmos above.

Even his divine eyes couldn’t pierce the chaotic darkness before him or see what lay beyond.

Fortunately, the Magic Goddess was still imprisoned by the gods in a Divine Kingdom within High-dimensional Space-Time.

The Magic Goddess was providing Li Wei with the coordinates he needed to advance.

Li Wei didn’t have to worry about getting lost in the endless chaos of space-time.

He hesitated no longer and set forth into High-dimensional Space-Time.

In an instant, Li Wei reached the speed of light and accelerated further.

The surrounding stars shot backward like meteors, eventually blurring into streaks of white light.

Soon, only darkness remained before him.

Yet, it felt as though something unseen existed within the darkness.

Light itself was fleeing the space-time Li Wei occupied.

Li Wei transcended his original dimension of space-time, forging ahead triumphantly toward High-dimensional Space-Time.

The further he advanced, the greater the resistance he felt.

The surrounding space-time pressed in on him like the crushing pressure of the deep sea, an immense force that not even a Demigod could withstand.

They would be crushed in an instant, not even dust remaining.

Li Wei mobilized all his Power and focused it on a single point.

A microscopic black hole formed the sharpest of spearheads, piercing the barrier of space-time.

“Break!”

KRAK!

The barrier of space-time shattered, and the surrounding space-time pulled Li Wei in like a vortex.

After a moment of losing all perception of his surroundings, Li Wei found himself in a completely new environment.

The area around him was utterly empty, save for the occasional flicker of one or two faint, violet-black lights.

It was as if the entire world was empty.

His Divine Thought stretched out continuously but discovered no matter whatsoever.

Even the one or two faint, flickering lights seemed to be an illusion.

Everything was a void.

Li Wei looked around, utterly bewildered. ‘Where is this? Is this what High-dimensional Space-Time is like?’

Something felt wrong.

He could sense that he was still a vast distance away from the Magic Goddess’s Divine Kingdom in High-dimensional Space-Time.

This was not High-dimensional Space-Time.

‘Then where am I?’

In the distant darkness, a faint, violet-black light pulsed periodically.

After a moment of thought, Li Wei advanced toward that faint, violet-black light.

Superluminal Flying, long-distance Space Teleportation…

Li Wei used every method at his disposal to travel, and after an unknown amount of time, he finally crossed the endless, empty space.

If he hadn’t already devoured the Power of tens of thousands of stars, he likely wouldn’t have been able to survive for long in this region.

Li Wei could feel the empty space around him devouring his leaking Power.

He couldn’t stop his Power from dissipating.

It was like water flowing downhill.

In this space, the dissipation of energy was a Law of the world.

Li Wei could only do his best to reduce the rate at which his own energy dissipated.

Fortunately, he possessed a vast reserve of energy.

This was what allowed him to cross the near-endless void to reach the place that pulsed with light.

As he drew closer, Li Wei was stunned by the sight before him.

From the distant void, this place had looked as faint as a dying firefly.

Only upon getting closer did Li Wei discover that the area flickering with faint light in the endless space was actually a massive nebula, even vaster than the galaxy that contained the Sky Dome World.

The nebula as a whole was violet-black in color.

The surging energy tides within the nebula caused its luminescence to change periodically.

This was what created the faint, flickering light that Li Wei had seen.

Li Wei extended his Divine Thought. The instant it touched the nebula, a vast consciousness collided with his own.

RUMBLE!

In that instant, Li Wei realized that this immense nebula before him was actually a single, complete consciousness.

The being possessed an aura that was remarkably similar to his own.

The aura of a Divine Spirit…

The giant nebula before him was the body of a Divine Spirit.

It was a world, and it was also a Divine Spirit.

“Divine Spirit from another universe, what business brings you here?”

The nebula’s consciousness posed the question to Li Wei.

Li Wei asked, “Where is this?”

Hearing the nebula’s words, Li Wei already had a vague idea.

The nebula said, “This is the Void Universe. As you can see, the vast majority of matter in this universe has already perished. The Divine Kingdom under my control is the last remaining proof of this universe’s existence.”

Li Wei showed a trace of surprise, but it was also what he had expected.
