Harry Returning from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 731 - 285: Gryffindor’s New King!

Chapter 731: Chapter 285: Gryffindor’s New King!

As June approaches, the atmosphere in the castle becomes tense and exciting again, as everyone anticipates the third competition which will be held a week before the holiday.

Harry doesn’t concern himself with the complex world of adults in the Headmaster’s Office.

Of course, he understands the logic of political operations, after all, during his time with the Malfoy family, Mr. Septimus practically taught him how to shine on the political stage... But it is precisely for this reason that he actually finds these complexities quite resistible.

It must be said, perhaps this is also the negative impact of the Malfoy Clan’s cramming-style education on him.

However, Harry is indeed quite grateful to Mr. Malfoy, although he was just Cassandra’s follower, the Malfoy Clan has never truly treated him like a servant.

People often only appreciate the painstaking efforts of their elders after growing up, and Harry also understood after confirming Cassandra’s intent why Mr. Septimus cultivated him so much back then, even to the extent of dedicating family resources to his upbringing.

Last summer, he returned to Malfoy Manor and chatted with Mr. Septimus for a long time.

Although Mr. Septimus always seemed irritated when seeing him, he was still willing to chat with him properly, and casually reminded him, "The British Ministry of Magic should only be for the English People."

Harry didn’t quite understand the essence of what Mr. Septimus said at that time, but he still kept that sentence in his mind.

However, when leaving the Headmaster’s Office, he detailed the recent events to Cassandra.

Cassandra seemed somewhat impatient, but Harry wasn’t sure if it was a misconception, thinking she might actually be quite happy?

On the day of the competition, the breakfast table at Gryffindor was bustling with activity.

The messenger owl arrived, bringing with it a Lucky Card sent by Little Sirius for Harry.

It was just a piece of parchment, folded open, with a muddy paw print on it, but Harry liked it very much.

"Oh, it seems your dog godfather quite likes marking a spot." Cassandra said disdainfully, sitting beside him, "But I think he hasn’t really grown up, I really wonder which of you two is the real kid."

"He’s also your godfather." Harry responded without looking up.

Cassandra snorted but didn’t say anything further.

"So." She said again, "Are you ready? After all, your plan..."

At that point, Cassandra stopped speaking.

"Not bad." Harry shrugged, "Being informed is already being prepared, it’s better than being sent to a destination without any psychological preparation, right?"

Cassandra said nothing.

After a long pause, she took off a pendant from her neck and handed it to Harry.

"Put it on." Her words were filled with undeniable authority.

"What is this?"

Harry reached out to take the pendant, which felt exceptionally smooth and carried body warmth.

"It’s quite warm." He remarked sharply.

Cassandra’s little face visibly blushed, she turned away, pretending to look at the professors on the guest seats, saying nothing.

Seeing her silent, Harry knew he had misspoken and embarrassed her, so he wore the pendant around his neck.

"Not bad, not cold at all." He knowingly said one more thing, playing along with the situation.

As a result, Cassandra’s foot appeared on Harry’s foot.

The sole of that little shoe was quite hard, stepping on Harry so he grimaced.

"This is for your indiscretion," Cassandra said coldly, "if you don’t want it, I can sew it together with needle and thread!"

"Oh." Harry responded honestly, and yet cheekily said, "I didn’t know you could sew..."

"Humph." Cassandra glared at him, got up, and returned to the long table of Slytherin.

After a while, Pabi walked over.

"Harry~" Pabi sat beside him, smilingly said, "How are you, are you nervous?"

"Of course not." Harry casually replied, "Actually, I wasn’t nervous at all, but when you asked just now, I suddenly felt a bit nervous."

"Eh?" Pabi was startled, "Really? Are you really nervous? Why didn’t I feel it..."

"Feel free to touch and see." Harry pointed to his arm, "Now I’m so nervous it’s trembling."

Pabi obediently touched Harry’s arm, only to find it perfectly still.

"You’re just fooling me!" She playfully pinched Harry’s arm, "Why didn’t I feel you shaking?"

"Because I’m not nervous when I see you." Harry grinned.

Pabi: ...

"You’re getting naughtier!" She hummed lightly, then sneakily glanced around, whispered to Harry: "I’ve already figured out what Magical Creatures Newt lent to Dumbledore..."

"Leave me a surprise, Pabi." Harry shook his head and said: "This way, it’s fair to the other two Warriors."

"Ha, actually Mrs. Maxim and that dreadful Kakaroff have long known the result!" Pabi whispered, "It’s not considered cheating if you know too!"

"Don’t worry, Pabi." Harry said softly, "They are them, I am me, don’t you have faith in me?"

Pabi pouted, but still respected Harry’s wish.

"Then I wish you safety," She said, "hope you go smoothly..."
