Chapter 746: Chapter 292: We Are the Champions! (Part 2)

"Yeah." Professor Sprout nodded as well, not forgetting to add to Snape’s discomfort, "What do you think, Severus?"

Her only response was a "hmph".

Professor Sprout and Professor Flitwick exchanged glances and burst into laughter.

After a brief commotion, seeing Dumbledore and Vivi return to the venue, Mr. Bagman realized the time had come. He cleared his throat and cast an amplifying charm on himself.

"Alright, everyone, please return to your seats in an orderly fashion. After all, we still need to announce the final champion of the Triwizard Tournament, don’t we?"

"Oh oh oh oh!" The students hastily released Harry and returned to their seats.

Each of their faces was flushed with excitement, chattering with their peers about the victor of the Triwizard Tournament.

This is a once-in-a-century grand event! Being able to witness such an occasion and see the champion belong to Hogwarts, it certainly became the talk of their lives.

Even the seventh-year students felt the same. Though they could graduate, they chose to stay at Hogwarts temporarily to witness the ceremony awarding Harry.

Harry clutching the trophy, looked up towards the main stand.

Dumbledore was applauding him, and so was Vivi, while not far away, Karkaroff finally stopped glaring at him with bitterness and clapping happily instead.

What was going on?

Harry was a bit surprised. Hadn’t Karkaroff always disliked him? Why was he applauding now, looking so pleased?

This isn’t magic!

What Harry didn’t know was that before this, Karkaroff had been tormented by the Dark Mark acting up, causing him excruciating pain.

He managed to endure until now, and shortly after Victor returned, that feeling suddenly vanished. As a Death Eater, Karkaroff knew full well what that meant.

It must have been this Hogwarts student who tidied up Voldemort again—even if he didn’t uproot him, he dealt him a significant blow; otherwise, the Dark Mark wouldn’t stop troubling him so easily.

Therefore, based on this, Karkaroff genuinely applauded the Hogwarts champion.

Not for anything else, but for helping him eliminate such a huge menace!

"Alright, at this exciting moment, the Triwizard Tournament has perfectly concluded," Mr. Bagman passionately spoke, standing beside the main stand, "We have joyously welcomed the ultimate winner of the Triwizard Tournament—he triumphantly passed the trial of the Fire Dragon, the challenge from the Merfolk, and finally, through countless obstacles, he endured the last trial of the maze—let us congratulate him, let us shout his name loudly—it is—"

"Harry Potter!" A deafening shout echoed around the venue, "Harry Potter! Harry Potter!"

Each wave of voices overpowered the last until Mr. Bagman had to call a halt.

"So, let us congratulate the ultimate champion of this Triwizard Tournament—from Hogwarts, the Warrior, Harry Potter!"

As Mr. Bagman’s voice faded, trails with long flaming tails rose from all directions of the venue, ascending into the air before exploding with a bang into a sky full of brilliant fireworks!

Fleur and Victor sat in their places, watching Harry with envy, amidst the tumultuous cheers and fireworks.

(Sound of fireworks)

After the cheers, it was time for the award ceremony.

"Let us welcome the special guest for this Triwizard Tournament, one of Hogwarts’ most outstanding alumni, the Minister of the Great German Ministry of Magic, Lady Villatia Elizabeth Emilie Grindelwald, to present the awards to the warriors of this Triwizard Tournament!"

Mr. Bagman said, graciously stepping aside and gesturing towards Lady Grindelwald seated at the main stand.

Indeed, after becoming the Minister of Magic, Vivi’s title naturally elevated to ’Lady’, no longer the slightly youthful ’Miss’.

"Does presenting awards require so many people?" Cassandra said while clapping, tilting her head to Pabi.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah!" Pabi kept twitching his nose, continuously picking his nails, almost emitting a sour aura throughout the venue.

Vivi stood up, slightly bowing towards everyone, and then took the commemorative trophy symbolic of the Triwizard Tournament from a beautiful girl beside Mr. Bagman.

The trophy was an exact replica of the Flame Cup, identical in size and quite hefty, presumably made of some precious metal.

In any case, it wasn’t gold-plated or silver.

She held the trophy and walked up to Harry.

"Harry." Vivi smiled warmly, handing the trophy to Harry with both hands, "Congratulations on becoming this Triwizard Tournament’s champion!"

"Thank you." Harry smiled in gratitude, then asked, "Are you really planning to just give me this trophy as a celebration?"

"Of course not yours," Vivi teasingly winked at him, "But not right now—be careful Cassandra might get so mad at me for doing something for you, her chest might explode—oh, never mind, she doesn’t have one to explode anyway."

"At this moment, you still remember to tease her?" Harry asked, amused. Vivi was always childishly playful when it came to Cassandra.

"Because she made me eat Canary Cookies," Vivi huffed, "I haven’t forgotten about that... Alright, plan to let me hold this forever?"

"Oh." Harry finally accepted the trophy.

Meanwhile, fireworks ascended once again, bursting in the sky, making the couple even more romantically dazzling.

"I shouldn’t be here." Cassandra pouted, "I should be under the Nightmare Horse Carriage, watching them be so sweet!"

"Come on." Pabi clapped, "We should be happy, right? Don’t you think?"

"Let us congratulate once again!" Mr. Bagman’s voice rang out again, "Congratulations to this Triwizard Tournament’s champion—Harry Potter!"

The cheers surged again and again, until everyone’s throat was sore, and Mr. Bagman announced once more: "To celebrate the full conclusion of this Triwizard Tournament, Hogwarts has prepared a grand feast for everyone—now, please exit orderly, return to Hogwarts’ Great Hall... don’t worry, Hogwarts is fully prepared this time, the Great Hall has been temporarily expanded to accommodate everyone dining together—of course, it couldn’t happen without the efforts of our house-elves at Hogwarts. Well, I declare, this Triwizard Tournament officially ends, please leave!"

Amidst the cheers and noise, the spectators began to descend from the stands, moving towards the Great Hall of Hogwarts.

Harry did the same, accompanied by Ron and Hermione, who excitedly and persistently asked him what he encountered in the maze.

"Encountered quite a lot." Harry said, "There was Hagrid’s Exploding Snail and a guest appearance by a Sphinx—oh, by the way, Victor was captured by a giant spider and trapped in a spider cocoon... When I rescued him, I thought, luckily Ron wasn’t in the competition, otherwise the spider would definitely leave a significant psychological scar."

"You’re right, mate!" Ron felt uncomfortable just thinking about it, "A giant spider trapped Victor in a spider cocoon, I hope this poor guy doesn’t develop a psychological scar from spiders in the future!"
