Hogwarts: Bloodline Legend
Chapter 1113 352: Second Trial! Victory! (2)
A test tube containing rainbow-colored liquid
An obsidian plate inscribed with rune language
A scarab encased in amber
"Arcana Triplex!"
The liquid from the test tube splashed into the air, forming a rainbow barrier; the obsidian plate shattered, releasing an ancient protective spell; the scarab in the amber awoke, spreading its wings with a piercing buzz — such is the terror of a Master of Magic Potions combined with an Alchemy Master.
On-site countermeasures are prepared.
The moment the black ball collided with the triple defense, the entire arena was shrouded in a warped force field. The souls in the audience seats watched in horror as their forms continuously changed — some turned into mummies, others into animals, while some regressed to mere soul light spots.
When the chaos subsided, a hundred-meter diameter pit appeared in the center of the field. Ian stood at the edge, his black robe tattered, yet the silver light in his eyes burned even more fiercely. Heka-Ur didn't fare much better; his star robe was mostly torn, revealing a body shimmering with starlight underneath.
"Again!" The ancient Legendary Wizard's resolve was unwavering, though he appeared somewhat shabby, his eyes were filled with fighting spirit.
After a brief pause.
"Flaming Arrow!" Heka-Ur launched first, waving his staff as a scorching Fire Dragon Spear erupted from the tip, charging straight at Ian!
"Speculum Divinitas!"
The moment the spear struck the mirror's surface, the reflection within came to life! An identical blue flame spear shot out from the mirror, colliding with Heka-Ur's attack in mid-air!
Boom—!!!
The explosive shockwave sent both of them flying. Ian hit two stone pillars before coming to a halt, while half of Heka-Ur's body was buried in the collapsed stand debris.
"I'm not just a wizard; I'm still an Alchemy Master." As the smoke cleared, Ian remained unscathed, yet the situation on the other side wasn't looking good.
Heka-Ur floated up from the ruins, his star robe now dim and dull, with blood seeping from the corner of his mouth, but his silver-gray right eye remained bright.
"Now it's my turn! Playing with fire, that's my domain, I'm the Fire Mage Ian~" Ian initiated with Fiery Fire, as the scorching Fiery Fire swept towards his opponent.
Heka-Ur's gaze sharpened, his staff swung heavily, and he uttered.
"Wall of Eternal Frost!"
An ice barrier quickly rose, the Fire Dragon crashed against the ice wall, exploding noisily, intertwining vapor and flames, forming a turbulent mist.
It proved true that ancient wizards had ways to counter Fiery Fire — in the audience seats, the "Soul Spectators" of Ancient Egyptian history erupted with deafening cheers.
"Heka-Ur! Heka-Ur!"
"He is the Father of Magic!"
"He once repelled a hundred enemy mages alone at the Nile Riverbank!"
On the other side, Ian's "Virtual Spectators" were equally unwilling to back down, shouting loudly:
"Ian! Ian! Ian!"
"The genius wizard of Hogwarts!"
"Master of Magic Potions! Alchemist!"
"He's changing the world with magic!"
The emotional value from the viewing platform was given quite generously.
"Triple Stone Spear Technique!" Heka-Ur immediately cast magic, the ground cracked open, countless stone spears burst from beneath, pointing directly at Ian's location!
Ian flickered, as a magic array beneath him lit up; his entire being instantly flashed into the air, dodging the lethal attack.
"Then I'll use Sixfold Thunder Arrow!" In mid-air, he swung backhandedly, as three lightning arrows broke through, carrying a thunderous momentum directly at Heka-Ur!
Almost like reenacting the previous story.
Since learning multiple ancient magic techniques from Ancient Greece previously, now Ian, who was in his element, also wanted to conduct some actual combat.
"You've learned quite a variety."
Heka-Ur remained calm and unhurried, his staff leveled, speaking an ancient spell: "Holy Shield·Sun God's Protection!"
Once more, a golden shield appeared, completely blocking the thunder arrows, amid the electric light splattering, illuminating the entire arena time and again.
Looking like they were about to repeat their previous state.
"Soul Fire!" Heka-Ur cast once more, a ball of Soul Fire-specific flame launched, carrying a power to scorch souls, rushing straight at Ian!
Ian's eyes narrowed, quickly rolling aside, yet the flame ball hitting the ground immediately caused it to cave in, forming a giant hole, with ethereal blue flames swirling within, seemingly ready to devour souls.
"Alchemy Soul Armor!" Ian quickly cast defense magic, forming an armor through a fusion of alchemy and magic potion knowledge, shielding his body surface and repelling the residual Soul Fire from outside.
"You're formidable." Ian slowly stood straight, gripping his magic wand firmly, "But I'm not one to be trifled with either."
He took a deep breath, raising his magic wand high, uttering an extremely complicated spell:
"Elemental Fusion: Arcane Storm!"
Suddenly, a massive magic vortex appeared in the sky, intertwining five elements—wind, fire, water, earth, thunder—forming a storm sweeping the entire arena!
Heka-Ur looked up to the heavens, a hint of gravity finally appearing in his gaze.
He slowly lifted his staff, chanting Ancient Egypt's most ancient spell: "Divine Shield·Thoth's Protection!"
A golden curtain expanded in the air, barely withstanding the impact of the Arcane Storm.
Yet even so, he had to retreat several steps, the ground underfoot torn by the magic storm, turning into scorched earth.
With the battle continued, the arena was no longer in its original state. The aftermath of the magic engulfed the surroundings, stone columns exploded, ground cracked, the air saturated with fluctuations of magic energy, fortunately, Anubis constantly constrained the magic's spreading.
