Hogwarts: Bloodline Legend
Chapter 1114 352: Second Trial! Victory!
"Eye of the Storm!" Heka-Ur raised the magic staff high, and a massive storm instantly gathered in the sky, with lightning and furious winds as if intending to engulf the entire arena.
Ian did not retreat; he quickly drew an alchemy array at his feet and chanted, "Gate of Void!"
A silver-white portal unfolded behind him, and the fierce wind was instantly absorbed into it, transformed into invisible power and transferred to another dimension.
"Gravity Chain!" Heka-Ur cast another spell, and several invisible chains emerged from the void, rushing toward Ian, attempting to bind him.
Ian let out a cold chuckle, tapped lightly with the magic wand, and chanted, "Mass Reversal!"
The next second, those chains not only failed to bind him but were instead reflected back, striking Heka-Ur directly!
Heka-Ur reacted quickly, immediately casting "Shield of Light," blocking the rebounded magic chains, yet the entire impact forced him back several steps.
"Interesting." A hint of admiration flashed in Heka-Ur's eyes, "You're not an ordinary wizard."
"You're not an ordinary enemy either." Ian raised the corner of his mouth slightly, his gaze full of interest, reflecting on the ancient legends' value.
"However, today, I will not lose." This is the conviction of a legendary wizard, and Ian certainly possesses a truly invincible heart.
"I have a move that transcends the era." Ian suddenly showed a sly smile, retrieving a seemingly ordinary copper pot from the money bag.
"Let me show you what modern alchemy is." He uncorked the pot, and a wisp of cyan smoke drifted out, forming a blurry humanoid shape in the air. Astonishingly, that humanoid gradually became clear and eventually transformed into—another Heka-Ur!
This was something Ian developed after experiencing certain events.
"Mirror Alchemy Puppet," Ian explained, "can perfectly replicate the magical traits of the target. Of course, as it is currently only a trial stage version, not the final version, there are many shortcomings, with a duration of only five minutes... but should be enough?"
The two Heka-Urs stared at each other, their eyes full of incredulity. Ian leisurely walked to the edge of the arena, pulled out a bag of popcorn from seemingly nowhere, and began to watch the show.
"You... this..." The real Heka-Ur's voice trembled.
"Oh, by the way," Ian added, "it also grows stronger over time, as it's replicated based on 'future potential.' Good luck~"
When the replica began chanting spells more powerful than the original, Heka-Ur finally broke down. He raised the magic staff, his eyes showing rare exhaustion.
"Stop! I concede!"
Even a legendary wizard could not withstand such an unreasonable hex warrior. Although most legendary wizards are hex warriors.
But Ian's hexagon is clearly larger, more perfect, with every domain at a truly legendary level.
Alchemy, magic potions, plus magic—it's not just one plus one plus one equals three. This Ancient Egyptian legend holding on for so long is truly commendable.
"Alright then."
Anubis did not continue pressing the legend to persist in the trial this time, so he promptly tapped the ground with his scepter, causing the replica to turn into cyan smoke and return to the copper pot. The entire arena fell silent, even the virtual audience forgot to cheer.
"Second trial, passed." The God of Death's voice carried some helplessness as he looked at Ian with all sorts of bizarre abilities.
"Final trial: Challenge my will."
His voice was solemn.
Ian, however, looked at this Elder God.
"No, I want to challenge you directly."
He issued his duel invitation—the previous roles did not make Ian take things too seriously, now Ian wants to create a new legend.
To challenge the gods with a mortal's body.
