Chapter 1535: Chapter 562: Classic Remake

Afterwards, the process is the same as after a regular Grand Prix weekend race.

Pack up, go for the weigh-in, and attend the post-race interview.

Then, step onto the podium to receive the award.

The two Mercedes drivers gathered around Verstappen like stars around the moon, placing him in the center.

Normally, it would be almost impossible for Qin Miao to smile when seeing this scene; not pulling a long face would already be giving Verstappen a lot of face.

But today, from start to finish, Qin Miao had a smile on his face.

The thought of being able to hug his precious daughter after the race made Qin Miao incredibly happy.

After the podium ceremony, the director showed the updated driver and team rankings after today’s race.

We’ll skip over these numbers, as there’s no change in the rankings from the last race.

Moreover, for Qin Miao, there’s nothing to regret about today’s race.

Even if losing the race brings a bit of unhappiness, the negative mood vanished when he saw his precious daughter after the race.

After coming down from the podium, taking a shower, and changing clothes, Qin Miao couldn’t wait to return to the team’s rest room.

As expected, he saw his daughter in the rest room.

The little one was holding a bottle, drinking milk contentedly.

Seeing Qin Miao come over, she didn’t stop what she was doing; she just kept sucking on the nipple while watching Qin Miao.

Seeing Muqiu like this, Qin Miao suddenly felt a great sense of contentment and peace.

"Want to hold her?" Seeing Qin Miao come over, Qimeng handed the child to Qin Miao.

"Sure!" Qin Miao didn’t hesitate and took his daughter from Qimeng, watching her drink milk while holding her. He really liked her more and more.

How could this little thing be so endearing?

But Qin Miao’s blissful state didn’t last long.

Soon, Barber found Qin Miao, informing him that the post-race press conference was about to start. Before that, Netflix people also came over, seemingly with business to discuss. These days, there’s a recorded interaction video with some overseas internet celebrities that needs to be completed, followed by the post-race press conference.

Such is the rough outline of an F1 driver’s work after a Grand Prix ends.

So, reluctantly leaving his wife and daughter, Qin Miao threw himself into work.

Qin Miao first met the Netflix people.

Though the Netflix Speed of Life documentary claims to be a documentary, it feels more like a dramatized F1 film.

But Qin Miao had to admit, this documentary not only boosted F1 but also offered the drivers considerable fame and additional income.

After all, many fans got hooked through Netflix’s documentary.

Thus, Qin Miao didn’t refuse their visit.

Besides, with many upcoming commitments post-race, there’s uncertainty about completion times, and the schedule is already set, squeezing in meetings later would be tough.

And since Qin Miao wasn’t used to keeping people waiting, he prioritized meeting with Netflix first.

However, the Netflix people’s intentions puzzled Qin Miao.

After meeting Qin Miao, the Netflix team clearly expressed their desire to reshoot a scene.

For a documentary-style film, reshooting a scene is a hassle, given that drivers aren’t generally trained actors, and their acting wouldn’t match professional standards.

Besides, Qin Miao couldn’t recall any scenes that needed reshooting.

After a deeper discussion, Qin Miao learned they wanted to reshoot the scene of him confessing to Toto about leaving Mercedes next season after deciding to join Ferrari.

This scene is particularly "special" for both Qin Miao and Toto.

But for viewers and fans enjoying drama, it’s an anticipated scene.

Though the environment at the time didn’t allow Netflix to capture real-time footage like at an F1 Grand Prix, they can recreate the scene with Qin Miao and Toto!

Honestly, Qin Miao admired the Netflix team’s creativity.

Hence, Qin Miao agreed with a nod.

Even if he didn’t recall the exact dialogue, Qin Miao remembered the overall process.

After settling this, the Netflix team thanked Qin Miao and went to find Toto.

They said they would agree on a filming schedule once arrangements were made.
