"That being said, it’s not something you need to consider right now. For now, just focus on your martial arts and improve your strength."

Morgan looked away while telling him to focus on one thing.

"By the way, Dad, you mentioned a foreign planet in a different solar system being one of humanity’s stations?"

"How did we go there? Doesn’t it take more than four light-years just to reach the closest solar system?"

Levi asked.

Morgan picked up a meatball with his fork while answering.

"That’s for normal spaceships. I almost forgot you just joined the second year. I believe they will teach you more this year."

"But since you’ve asked, I will tell you a few things about Ranks, Spiritual Energy, and other professions."

"Spiritual Energy?"

Levi murmured, remembering one of the stats displayed in his profile while his dad continued.

"There are a total of fourteen ranks that I can name right now. But I only know about seven ranks."

"Martial Apprentice, Martial Artist, Grand Martial Artist, Martial Master, Grand Martial Master, Martial Grandmaster, and Great Grandmaster."

"These ranks are divided by blood energy, but there are other aspects affecting them."

"In Martial Apprentice Rank, you train your bones. The bones are the foundation of your strength."

"Tempering them too late will miss out on a lot of tempering. So, they are tempered with a low amount of blood energy at the start."

"As they become stronger, more blood energy is used, so even in the later ranks, you will continuously temper your bones."

"In Martial Artist Rank, you train your bones and muscles. Tempering bones becomes your instinct, while tempering your muscles becomes your job."

"In Grand Martial Artist Rank, you train your bones, muscles, and blood vessels. It is where your muscle strength and your energy level increase drastically."

"In Martial Master Rank, you train the previous three parts alongside your skin and four senses. These are essential for becoming a martial artist."

"It is also where a new profession branches out for people. This profession is achieved by unlocking and improving spiritual energy."

"This is strictly related to talent and those above Grand Martial Master Rank. Because spiritual energy can only be inherited if it is merged with the blood energy."

"Strictly speaking, a Grand Martial Master can use the spiritual energy for different things like telepathy and intimidation."

"But some people can control objects, use large-scale telepathy, and even merge their spiritual energy with blood energy in the future."

"That’s the ticket to the Grandmaster Rank. Once you merge both and refine your body, it will send a message to the universe." 𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂

"It’s a strange power, but when it resonates with the universe, the universe sends a small portion of the Genesis Energy to merge with you."

"This energy can rewrite your genes, storing the information about your spiritual energy and blood energy into your genes alongside a new change."

"This change is known as Awakening."

Hearing that, Levi excitedly said.

"I know about that. Awakening is the process where people can awaken different kinds of supernatural abilities."

Morgan nodded and continued.

"Only Grandmasters have superpowers. They are different from other powers."

"For example, a spiritualist is someone with high spiritual energy. They can use telepathy, telekinesis, and even use spiritual energy for other purposes."

"Like controlling flames to become an alchemist, controlling runes to become a Rune Master, and more."

"Then, there are Mech Warriors. These are the people who have studied technology in the last year of their high school."

"Mech Warriors are bound to different mechs like Ground Mech, Air Mech, Space Mech, and more."

Hearing that, Levi hurriedly asked.

"Wait, I can understand spiritual list, but how do Mech Warriors even bind themselves to a mech?"

"It’s quite easy. Mechs are just like weapons, except they are more like a suit of armor with a lot of weapons."

Morgan explained while tilting his head down.

"If you want to know more, you can get the books for the second and third years of Martial Arts Classes from the library."

"Essentially, spiritual energy allows people to become stronger, have a lot more options in life, and even fly a spaceship into another solar system."

"Nine Hundred Years Ago, humans found a special ore that was able to use the spiritual energy as electrical energy."

"This allowed humans to make a huge breakthrough in technology. Remember, humans don’t need to invent everything."

"There are a lot of technologies that have already been explored by other races. We just needed to copy that, but we were limited by our energy supply."

"That special ore is used to forge a special form of metal known as DLSEM. Do you know how many solar systems humanity has conquered?"

Sera struck Morgan on his ribs and said.

"Just tell him! How is he supposed to know that?"

Morgan bitterly explained.

"14! Humans have conquered fourteen solar systems, but only one of them has life. That’s why only two solar systems have our station."

Hearing that, Levi nodded.

"I see! There is a lot I need to learn in these two years. It seems like these two years won’t be wasted as I thought."

Morgan shook his head.

"No, it still would. The theoretical knowledge is something you can learn from anywhere, but practical knowledge and strength are more important."

"You have a good talent, Levi. But there are people more talented than you. They are also born with better conditions than you."

Hearing that, Levi asked.

"Is that why you hesitantly accepted the system?"

Sera nodded her head.

"Levi, if you just rely on your talent, you will have no problem reaching Grandmaster Rank and could even reach Great Grandmaster Rank."

"But if you want to go beyond that, you need to rely on that thing. It’s your choice. No matter what you choose, we will support you."

Even if their son ended up taking an evil path, they would just close their heart and ignore him.

As she said that, Levi fell into deep thought. He understood his parents’ mindset.

He was hesitant about using this system because he didn’t want to become a bad person.

But he also understood his difficulty. If he wanted to go beyond, either he had to be born with incredible talent or with an incredible background.

He had none.

As he was thinking, his parents finished their meals and put away their dishes before taking their seats.

When Levi finally came to his decision, he looked at his parents and said.

"Hahaha! That’s my son. You should be ambitious; only then can you conquer the stars."

Morgan laughed out loud.

Levi nodded his head, and his eyes fell on two special talismans.

"Mom, what talismans are these?"

Sera spoke with a gentle tone, but her words stunned Levi. Because there wasn’t a single talisman. There were two of them.

Sera saw his confusion and calmly explained.

"Levi, what you have is probably something that nobody in the world has. Something that can constantly give you enlightenment."

"Just this is enough to put it above any kind of treasure I’ve seen in my life. Remember what your father told you about Grandmaster Rank."

"They can awaken different abilities. So imagine if someone with a Mind Reading superpower reads our mind."

"You don’t have to be worried about anything. That system should be able to block those mind readers, but that’s not the same thing for us."

"If someone learns about the system through us, they will use us to get you. We don’t want to be your weakness."

"So, we will be using this talisman. It has been used several times by the doctors of large hospitals."

"Some Martial Artists do not want others to know about their surgery or even their injuries. So to maintain privacy, every doctor uses this after the operation."

"It deletes all of the new patterns of your neurons. As long as those patterns disappear, the brain will not remember anything."

"If the brain doesn’t remember something for more than a day, the information doesn’t get stored in the soul."

"So, from now on, you will not tell anyone about the system, not me, your father, and especially not your sister, understand?"

Hearing that, Levi took a deep breath and nodded.

He didn’t get emotional because of this. He understood the threat others posed towards his family.

Although he had grown up in a normal life, this was still a world full of martial artists, invasions, and monsters.

His parents placed the talisman on their foreheads and activated the talismans simultaneously.

A few seconds later, they opened their eyes and looked at Levi.

Their eyes showed a strange confusion, but when they saw two talismans on their forehead, their eyes shrank rapidly.
