Chapter 786 Return to Blue Star

  • Next Chapter

The memory recording ended, and Su Ze had successfully received the inheritance of the Ancestral God-level skill, “Dream Creation.”

He kept replaying the last few coordinates Mr. Ao had left him. They were all for planets inhabited by the Human Race.

The universe held countless planets similar to Blue Star—or rather, similar to Blue Star before it had awakened the power of evolution. These planets were home to large populations of unevolved humans.

They were unaware of the existence of the Ten Thousand Races, or even that other members of the Human Race existed elsewhere in the universe.

The reason the Human Race had survived the hunts of the major races was because its people were scattered across the universe, with no contact or even knowledge of each other’s existence.

This way, even if a human planet was discovered by another race, it wouldn’t lead to the discovery of any others.

After Mr. Ao became the leader of the Human Race, the special abilities granted by his position allowed him to sense his kin within a certain range.

He had discovered these few human planets by chance, but he had never disturbed the people living on them.

By passing the coordinates to Su Ze, he didn’t necessarily expect him to take any specific action. He merely hoped Su Ze might watch over them a little, or perhaps pass the coordinates down to the next leader of the Human Race in the future.

Mr. Ao hadn’t known who would receive his inheritance, nor what achievements the next leader would have. They could have simply been another unremarkable leader in a long line of them.

He just hoped that if the day ever came when the Human Race no longer had to hide and could openly reveal itself to the universe, these people would not be forgotten.

But Su Ze now had some ideas of his own.

‘Zexing’s surface area is too vast, but its population is far too small!’

‘Even if I brought everyone over from Blue Star, the numbers would still be insignificant. After all, Blue Star is much smaller than Zexing. Besides, after years of evolutionary wars, its population is already low, with most of its territory occupied by alien beasts.’

‘At that point, over ninety percent of Zexing would be empty—vast and sparsely populated—and a huge amount of its resources would go undeveloped and unused.’

‘Right now, Zexing doesn’t lack resources. It lacks people, and it lacks a sufficient number of powerful experts.’

‘Only by increasing the population base will more geniuses and experts emerge.’

Relying on natural growth would take far too much time. Su Ze wanted to save time and strengthen Zexing as quickly as possible.

Therefore, directly immigrating the humans from those other planets to Zexing might be the fastest option.

However, that would have to wait. He would deal with it after he returned from Blue Star.

Suddenly, Su Ze heard what sounded like popping bubbles coming from outside. He swept the area with his Spiritual Power and discovered that the entire base space was collapsing.

The “golden heart” that sustained the base had dimmed, all of its energy having been absorbed by Su Ze.

Su Ze reached out and touched the golden heart. He activated the “Dream Creation” skill he had just mastered and infused it with dream energy.

The next moment, the collapsing Dream Space immediately stabilized. A moment later, it returned to its original state.

Su Ze closed his eyes to comprehend the Ancestral God skill he had just obtained.

Dream Creation (Ancestral God Skill): Use dream energy to weave dreams.

It was that simple and unadorned. But as the one who had mastered the skill, only Su Ze knew what immense potential it held.

One could say this skill had infinite potential.

First was the matter of dream energy. After mastering the “Dream Creation” skill, he could convert the evolutionary power within his body into this special energy.

This energy was unlike any other kind Su Ze knew. It existed somewhere between the illusory and the real. One might call it real, yet it couldn’t be touched or felt. One might call it illusory, yet it was converted from real energy.

This skill had a very high ceiling, but it was heavily dependent on proficiency and evolution level.

Currently, Su Ze had only just mastered the skill. His proficiency was, needless to say, quite ordinary, and his Sun God-level evolution was not enough to fully unleash the wondrous power of “Dream Creation.”

After all, even the Creation Dream Butterfly, an Ancestral God-level alien beast, could not perfectly wield the full might of “Dream Creation.”

It was destined to be a high-end skill.

The true power of the “Dream Creation” skill lay in its ability to break down the barrier between dream and reality.

This was the dividing line. If one couldn’t break that barrier, then it was just an ordinary Illusion Technique-type skill.

But once that barrier was broken, a qualitative change would occur. It would connect the dream world to reality, allowing things that were only possible in dreams to be achieved in the real world.

For example, creating a space, or manipulating time.

But even the Creation Dream Butterfly, in its lifetime, was only able to create space through dreams; it could not truly master the power of time.

It had only scratched the surface of the power of time.

Let alone the current Su Ze.

Right now, he couldn’t even control the power of space through dreams, let alone the power of time.

Still, it was at least an Illusion Technique skill that could easily affect a Sun God. With practice and increased proficiency, he had a chance of mastering the power of space.

As for the power of time… he would likely have to become an Ancestral God before he could even hope to touch upon it.

Besides, dreams held infinite variations and possibilities. Space and time were merely the two highest-end applications. He didn’t need to be overly ambitious; he could start by trying to develop some other uses.

Su Ze planned to practice the “Dream Creation” skill more in his spare time.

Learning about the race leader from Mr. Ao gave Su Ze a greater sense of urgency. He didn’t know if those Dominator Races were secretly cultivating their own human experts. All he could do was strive to become an Ancestral God and the leader of the Human Race as soon as possible.
