Creating the colors was indeed a success, but there was something else Roxanna needed to consider: whether the colors would last or fade after some time.

That was why she immediately asked the system, "Do you have something that can make the colors last longer?"

[Yes, Host!] the system replied enthusiastically. [There are several types of color fixatives available in the system market. They can help prevent the colors from fading after they dry.]

Roxanna’s eyes immediately brightened. "Show me the best one."

She could try to cut corners by buying a cheaper one, but since this was going to be a long-term project, Roxanna thought it would be better to use something of higher quality from the beginning.

The system fell silent for a moment before several products appeared in front of her. Roxanna quickly skimmed through their descriptions, completely ignoring the ones she thought were unsuitable until one finally caught her attention.

[Premium Natural Color Fixative: 500 SP]

[Description: A high-quality fixative designed to preserve pigments made from natural materials. It helps colors adhere firmly to various surfaces and significantly slows fading caused by sunlight, water, and time.]

[Suitable For: Wood, stone, animal hide, woven fabric, clay, and other porous materials.]

[Usage: Mix a small amount directly into the prepared pigment before application.]

Roxanna quickly asked, "How much paint can this product be used for?"

[One bottle of Premium Natural Color Fixative can be used for approximately fifty liters of paint, Host!] the system replied. [You only need to add a small amount to each batch, so one bottle should last for quite a while.]

"Fifty liters?" Roxanna repeated in surprise.

That was much more than she had expected.

Even if they gathered more materials and produced larger batches later, it would probably take some time before they could make fifty liters of paint.

In that case, five hundred SP did not seem too expensive.

"Then I want to buy it," Roxanna said firmly.

[Purchased 1x Premium Natural Color Fixative: 500 SP]

[Remaining Spirit Points (SP): 438, 650]

After buying the paint fixative, Roxanna walked over to the group of Vixerians who were still busy stirring different colors of paint inside their wooden buckets.

"Everyone!" Roxanna called out loudly, trying to get their attention. "Before we start painting our homes, there’s something we need to add to the paint first!"

Her voice quickly caught everyone’s attention. One by one, the Vixerians stopped what they were doing and turned to look at her.

Roxanna raised the small green vial in her hand so everyone could see it clearly.

"This will help the colors last longer," she explained. "Once you’ve finished making the paint you want to use for your hut, come to me. I’ll add some of this to it for you."

The Vixerians looked curiously at the little vial in her hand. None of them knew what was inside, but after everything Roxanna had taught them so far, they did not question her words.

"Just make sure you don’t start painting before adding this," Roxanna reminded them. "Otherwise, all your hard work might go to waste."

It did not take long before the Vixerians began coming to Roxanna one by one, each carrying a wooden bucket filled with the paint they had made.

Roxanna patiently checked each bucket before adding a few drops of the fixative. Since only a small amount was needed, she was careful not to pour too much.

After adding it, she told them to stir the paint again until the fixative was completely mixed in.

"Is this enough?" one of the Vixerians asked as he stirred his yellow paint.

"Yes. Just mix it a little longer," Roxanna replied. "Once everything is mixed well, you can start using it."

The beastman nodded happily and immediately carried his bucket away.

Another person soon stepped forward with a bucket of dark purple paint, followed by someone carrying red paint. Before Roxanna knew it, a small line had formed in front of her.

Everyone seemed eager to start decorating their huts, especially after seeing how bright the colors had turned out. Some had made only one color, while others had prepared two or three different colors because they could not decide which one they liked best.

Luan eventually joined the line as well, carrying a wooden bucket in each hand.

Roxanna raised her eyebrows when she saw him. "You made two?"

"Yes." Luan placed both buckets in front of her. One contained red paint, while the other was kind of... white. "I want to use both."

Roxanna tilted her head, looking at him in confusion because he didn’t bring up red before. "You want to use red paint?"

Luan shrugged. "Just a little bit. Not on all the walls."

Since her husbands were going to be the ones painting their hut, Roxanna eventually nodded. She would simply leave the painting job to them.

"I see," Roxanna said as she added the fixative drop by drop. She smiled. "I hope the hut turns out great!"

Luan smiled. "It will. Don’t worry."

After Roxanna finished giving the fixative to everyone, she decided to walk around the village and see how the other huts were coming along. Strangely enough, Calen ended up following her everywhere.

Apparently, her other husbands had told him that they would finish painting much faster if Calen stayed away from them.

It was a little rude, but Calen did not seem bothered by it at all. In fact, he looked rather happy about being kicked out. If the others did not want him around, then that simply meant he could spend more time with their wife.

"Wife, wife! Doesn’t that color look nice?" Calen asked excitedly as he pointed toward one of the huts that had been painted yellow.

His dog-like tail wagged quickly from side to side as he stared at the bright color with obvious excitement. Everything in the village had always been filled with the natural shades of wood, stone, and dirt, so seeing such a bright color covering an entire wall was still new to him.

"It’s so bright!" Calen added, his eyes practically shining. "I can see it from all the way over here!"
