Chapter 130: Chapter 125: Nonsense

The battlefield was a shocking sight!

The White Wolf’s health was plummeting...

It was struggling bitterly to hold on.

"I get it now. I finally understand why you were able to find the Burial Treasure Realm Control Order so easily. It’s because this Control Order possesses a hint of consciousness. In the unseen world, it sensed the changes here... it sensed you. That’s why it let you find it and the Dragon Elephant Banner with such ease!!!" the Fat Monk exclaimed suddenly. He slapped his thigh, the confusion in his eyes vanishing entirely.

He had been pondering this question all along. He couldn’t figure out why Su Tan had such incredibly good luck, acquiring the ultimate treasure of the Treasure Burial Realm effortlessly!

Su Tan was speechless. At a time like this?!

"Now isn’t the time to talk about this. The Little White Wolf can’t hold on much longer!" he said, clearly displeased.

"Oh, oh, oh... right, right, right..." The Monk slapped his forehead. "Hold on, White Wolf! We’re coming!!!"

Twenty-four banners embroidered with dragon and elephant motifs were tossed by the Monk into the control room’s sandbox.

RUMBLE...

The twenty-four banners, as if endowed with sentience, floated above the sandbox. They completely surrounded the Marching Battlefield.

"Are you kidding me? I told you I can’t hold on anymore! I can’t hold on! You keep saying you’re coming, so get your ass over here!" the Little White Wolf cursed in exasperation. "Don’t just talk, do something!"

It really wanted to utter some righteous, awe-inspiring words—some heroic, impassioned speech that would shake the ages. It wanted to declare that cultivators like them had unyielding iron bones, that they must defy the heavens and slay the Yin Demons, and that death didn’t matter because even if it was killed, there were millions more like it.

But it couldn’t say a single word of it!

Opposite it, pairs of eyes were glaring at it. The enemies bared their fangs and brandished their claws, itching to skin it and swallow it alive on the spot.

It was too terrifying!

COUGH, COUGH...

The Monk looked utterly embarrassed. "Dragon Elephant Sealing Power!"

RUMBLE...

Heavenly dragons and divine elephants burst forth from the twenty-four banners!

Ferocious!

Miraculous!

Every divine elephant was vividly lifelike, and every heavenly dragon appeared completely real. They were colossal in size. The Giant Dragons were like shifting mountain ranges, while the divine elephants resembled demonic statues suppressing the Divine Prison.

With their every movement, All Heavens trembled.

It was terrifying!

ROAR!

Deafening roars echoed out. At this moment, the Marching Battlefield was permeated with these resounding cries. The sound pierced through the black clouds and inky mist, filling the entire world.

BUZZ...

Eardrums throbbed!

"Dragon Elephant Power... suppress!"

Twelve divine elephants and twelve divine dragons stampeded forward. They charged directly toward the Little White Wolf’s direction.

"Holy crap... Are you here yet or not?! If you have a plan, hurry up and use it! I’m... I’m going to die... damn it!" the Little White Wolf shouted, blocking the cave entrance.

The Tokens on its body were all used up. Except for the Weakness Token, the others had already entered their cooldown phase. Now, it had absolutely no trump cards left.

The Weakness Token could indeed drastically reduce an enemy’s combat power. However, if the enemy’s strength was vastly superior to begin with, they would still be stronger even after being weakened. If so, it would be completely useless! The Little White Wolf was facing this exact awkward predicament. If the control room didn’t offer some assistance soon, it would really have to put its life on the line.

CRACKLE...

A Yin Demon claw thrust out from the cave.

The Little White Wolf’s gaze turned heavy. It recognized this claw. This exact thing was the chief culprit behind the injuries on its body. Just moments ago, the Little White Wolf had thrown numerous skills toward the cave entrance. It thought it could easily repel any Yin Demon.

Who would have known that the moment it got close, the owner of the claw would effortlessly leave several deep gashes on its body? This alone proved how terrifyingly powerful the owner of the claw was. Had the Little White Wolf not desperately beaten the claw back at the critical juncture—had the claw’s owner managed to squeeze out—probably no one in the entire Marching Battlefield would have been its match.

Now, it was making a comeback. The Little White Wolf knew the chances of knocking it back a second time were painfully slim.

"I really have to put my life on the line!" the Little White Wolf muttered to itself. It hesitated for a brief moment before gritting its teeth. Hot blood rushed to its head as it prepared to charge forward and physically block the cave entrance.

"Backup has arrived!" the Fat Monk announced.

ROAR!

At this moment, twenty-four bizarrely shaped Exotic Beasts stampeded out from the black clouds in all directions. They charged fiercely toward the Yin Demon Cave Entrance. Without the slightest pause, they all drilled directly into the cave entrance.

Instantly, turbulent currents surged. White bones flew everywhere. A powerful gale swept through.

The Little White Wolf was pushed back by the twenty-four streams of Dragon Elephant Power, forcing it away from the immediate battlefield!

SMACK, SMACK, SMACK...

It stumbled back repeatedly, retreating over a thousand feet. Amidst the surging, turbulent energy, it managed to stabilize its body. Raising its eyes, it peered through the gaps of flying bone fragments toward the cave entrance. The twenty-four colossal behemoths, enveloped in flowing light, were relentlessly bombarding the cave.

The Yin Demons, which looked like devils crawling out of the abyss of hell, were completely knocked back! From the Little White Wolf’s perspective, it looked exactly like the visual of a massive mountain being sucked into a beer bottle.

"Sorry to keep you waiting!" the Monk’s voice transmitted over.

Hearing this, the Little White Wolf snapped out of its shock and immediately cursed. "Damn it, couldn’t you have come earlier? Dawdling like an old woman... Instead of wasting time blabbering, you should’ve just used your ultimate move! Do you know what it means for every second to feel like a year? Making me wait so long—you did that on purpose, didn’t you?!"

The Little White Wolf raged in exasperation.

The Fat Monk laughed awkwardly. "Heh... hehe..."

He wondered why the White Wolf was cursing at him. Wasn’t "Sorry to keep you waiting" a classic opening line? It was recorded in the books! The following dialogue was supposed to be something like, "Not at all... you’re right on time..."

"The turbulent currents have now repelled the Yin Demons, and the offensive power will persist for quite some time. Until the cave entrance closes, they shouldn’t have any chance to crawl out again!" the Monk said. "Crisis averted!"

"Phew..." The Little White Wolf heaved a huge sigh of relief.

Inside the Divine Mansion, Su Tan heard the exchange. The heavy stone weighing on his heart was finally lifted.

It had been a false alarm. When the Strongest Yin Demon struck, he thought it would trigger a massive disaster. Who would have thought the crisis would be resolved just like that?

"You bunch of trash! This Venerable One already paved the way for you, yet you were actually blocked by a little mongrel! Trash!"

Deep within the Black Mist Mountain Range, the Strongest Yin Demon—who had been silent for a long time while enduring the Thunderbolt punishment—finally spoke! It furiously scolded the creatures on the Yin Demon side.

"Must this Venerable One truly act personally?!" the Strongest Yin Demon bellowed.

Both the Little White Wolf and Su Tan heard this resounding voice. They had just witnessed the absolute terror of this supreme entity. Although they had luckily resolved the immediate crisis, if the Strongest Yin Demon actually intervened personally, they wouldn’t be able to stop it—no matter how many cheats they controlled.

"Don’t listen to its nonsense!" The Fat Monk waved his hand dismissively. "If it could come out, it would have done so ages ago. Why would it just be making sarcastic remarks from over there? Relax, it’s about to fall into a deep slumber. Don’t be afraid of it."

Su Tan and the Little White Wolf were half-believing and half-doubtful.

"Little White Wolf, you can return now. However... you can also choose to take revenge. Do you see the Sealing Banner? It has a function that extracts the Spiritual Energy of the sealed entity and transforms it into a defenseless Spiritual Artifact. This lasts for two hours. During this period, the sealed creature will be completely unable to move. Moreover, any damage you inflict on the Spiritual Energy Group will be directly transferred to the sealed entity. The only drawback is that you can’t deal a killing blow... So, do you want to return or take revenge?"

"Nonsense! If I can take revenge, I’m definitely taking revenge!" Seeking vengeance for the smallest grievance was the White Wolf’s code of conduct. Just moments ago, it had nearly been killed by that mob of Yin Demons.

"Hehe... I knew you’d make that choice!" the Fat Monk said. "Right now, the Sealing Array requires a medium. I’ll tell you what to do!"

"Damn it... I’ve realized you’re getting more and more troublesome. You always spout a ton of nonsense. Can you just speak simply and directly?" the Little White Wolf complained in dissatisfaction.
