I Can Level Up Infinitely

Chapter 165: The Third Princess

Chapter 165: The Third Princess

Dark clouds gathered overhead, blotting out the sky as an oppressive aura descended upon the land.

"Master, you should move away," the woman said urgently. "The farther, the better."

Leon frowned. "Why?"

"Because of our bond, I received a portion of the enlightenment that was meant for you. I was already on the verge of a breakthrough..." She looked up at the swirling clouds with a helpless expression. "This is the worst possible timing, but I’m about to face Heavenly Tribulation."

"Heavenly Tribulation?" Leon repeated in confusion.

"I’ll explain it later. For now, get away. At your current level, you won’t be able to withstand even a single bolt of heavenly lightning."

Before Leon could respond, the woman gently pressed her palm against his chest.

The touch was as soft as a cushion, yet an overwhelming force erupted from her palm.

Boom!

Leon was blasted hundreds of meters away.

The very next instant...

Zaaaaaaaaaaaaaap!

A lightning bolt tore through the sky and crashed down upon the woman.

At the same time, the golden beam of enlightenment followed Leon’s body, continuing to bathe him in its radiant light.

From the distance, Leon watched bolt after bolt descend from the sky

Each strike shook the earth violently, leaving behind massive craters and scorching the surrounding land until it resembled charred black coal.

Meanwhile, the golden pillar never ceased pouring into Leon’s body.

One notification after another flashed before his eyes.

[You have absorbed a massive amount of Qi.]

[You have absorbed a massive amount of Qi.]

Finally, after the tenth bolt of heavenly lightning struck, the dark clouds began to disperse. At the same time, the pillar of brilliant light surrounding Leon gradually started to fade.

A series of notifications appeared in the panel.

"Show me my status."

Leon’s smile widened. He finally looked toward the place where the woman was facing the Heavenly Tribulation. The area was shrouded in thick smoke, but it was slowly dissipating.

Leon focused his mind and rose into the air before flying toward the woman.

However, when he was only halfway there, the smoke completely dispersed, revealing her figure.

Leon came to an abrupt halt. His eyes widened, and he almost had a nosebleed at the sight before him.

The woman stood proudly amidst the scorched land like a queen overlooking her domain. The aura surrounding her was vast and profound, making her seem less like a magical beast and more like a deity descended upon the mortal world.

But that wasn’t what had made Leon stop so suddenly.

It was her clothes.

The heavenly tribulation had reduced much of her dress to tattered rags. Even before, the outfit had clung tightly to her graceful figure, outlining every alluring curve. Now, with several areas exposed, the sight was enough to make Leon’s heart pound wildly.

After all...

He was still a man.

Realizing he had been staring, Leon hurriedly turned around and averted his gaze in embarrassment. But he couldn’t stop his thoughts from spiraling. ’S-She really is... divine.’ Even in his own mind, he found himself stammering.

The woman noticed Leon standing with his back turned toward her. A mischievous smile spread across her lips.

She began walking toward him, each step slow and deliberate.

Leon could hear every footstep.

Her bare feet pressed against the icy ground, each step producing a crisp crunch as the frost cracked beneath her.

With every step she took, Leon’s heart beat faster.

But suddenly...

Jenny’s face flashed through his mind. A sense of urgency instantly washed over him.

’No. Jenny could be in danger. I have to get back to Earth as soon as possible.’ He thought.

"C-Can you please change your clothes?" Leon asked awkwardly. "I need to return to Earth immediately. There are urgent matters I have to deal with."

The woman stopped. "Of course, Master." She spoke in a pitiful tone. "But I don’t have any spare clothes with me. What should I do?" Despite saying that, she resumed walking toward him with the same mischievous smile.

At that moment, Leon felt something deep within him stir with anger. It was the same strange sensation he had experienced before, when he had claimed that the telekinesis of Raging Inferno’s Wings’ had become useless after awakening his own Telekinesis.

’System! Do you have any women’s clothes? If not, can you prepare a set for her? And... please make them a little loose-fitting.’

[Sure, Host. There are similar clothes in the inventory. The cost is—]

"Just give them to me!"

Before the system could even finish, Leon hurriedly interrupted.

The next instant, a neatly folded set of white clothes materialized out of thin air and landed in his hands.

Without looking back, Leon immediately tossed them behind him. There was no need to turn around. Using Spirit Zone, he could already sense that the woman was less than five meters away.

She caught the clothes effortlessly. However, she puffed out her cheeks in slight dissatisfaction.

Then...

Rustle!

Leon heard the unmistakable sound of fabric sliding across skin. His heartbeat accelerated. He instinctively squeezed his eyes shut.

A few moments later...

"I’m finished, Master."

Leon finally let out a sigh of relief before turning around.

The moment he looked at her, he froze again.

The white dress was elegant and refined, making her appear even more ethereal than before. Leon forcibly suppressed the thoughts running through his mind. "W-We should return now," he said, trying to sound calm. "Can you take me back to where I came from? Emily told me you gave them a crystal to leave this place. And they all were transported back to the exact same place they had come from."

"Of course, Master." She brought out a transparent crystal.

Crack!

She crushed it beneath her foot.

"Oh, and before we leave..." she said with a graceful smile, "allow me to introduce myself properly."

She placed a hand over her chest and bowed slightly.

"My name is Lamia. The third princess of the tenth generation of the Primordial Serpent Clan."
