I Grind to Martial Saint
Chapter 470: Attack (Part 2)
Han Yuan sheathed the Heaven-Defying Saber.
He would have to wait for the Heaven-Defying Saber’s Sword Soul to digest and absorb the resentful energy it had just taken in before he could use it again.
Then, the deck beneath him suddenly split open, resembling a monstrous maw trying to swallow him whole.
“You’re courting death!”
Han Yuan barked, coiling his legs to leap away. But an invisible, heavy pressure suddenly descended, keeping him from jumping immediately.
That momentary delay was all it took for him to be swallowed beneath the deck.
The splintered deck sealed itself shut again, as if it had never been broken.
BANG!
Han Yuan landed deep within the ship’s hold.
It was dark, damp, and filled with a nauseating stench.
Fire Evil Qi surged from his body, illuminating the hold’s interior.
The sight before him made him shudder.
It was like a forest of flesh. Countless rotting, blood-soaked arms grew from the walls and floor.
An eyeball grew in the palm of each arm, staring at Han Yuan with sinister, greedy malice.
‘It seems the ship itself has been corrupted into an evil creature, even gaining a sliver of consciousness.’
‘This Source Seed Shredded Meat is truly terrifying…’
Han Yuan remarked to himself.
The next moment.
The grotesque arms shot out, clawing madly for him.
…
Standing on the deck, Yan Qingyu frowned slightly as she watched Han Yuan’s figure vanish into the rotting behemoth of a ship.
But soon, a series of massive booms echoed from the corrupted vessel. Bursts of violent firelight erupted from within, as if a volcano were blowing its top.
The entire ship was engulfed in furious flames, transforming into a floating inferno that burned wildly.
The next moment.
Yan Qingyu heard a familiar voice cry out.
“Primordial Heaven-Burning!”
BOOM!!!!
Everyone’s ears were ringing.
The rotten giant ship suddenly exploded!
The scorching light of the explosion instantly illuminated the once gloomy and oppressive sea.
Even the towering waves were vaporized by the blast, instantly dissipating into a cloud of mist.
A figure shot into the sky and landed on deck.
“These ships have all been contaminated by the Source Seed Shredded Meat. They’ve developed a consciousness.”
“The only solution is to destroy every last one of them.”
Han Yuan said softly.
There was an Abnormal Person on the deck.
His name was Jiang Deng.
He was from the Celestial Net Department, responsible for communicating with Liang Ze.
Upon hearing Han Yuan’s words, he quickly used a Daoist Skill to relay the message to Liang Ze.
The others on the ship heard Han Yuan and immediately understood what he meant.
“We’ve been bored stiff on this ship for days. Time to stretch our legs!”
“Haha, same here!”
“I’d like to see just how bizarre these rotten hulks are!”
With a great cry, numerous Divine Sea Experts leaped into the air and charged toward the remaining corrupted ships.
Then, having received the message, Liang Ze also swiftly issued the command to attack!
In an instant.
The entire sea became a terrifying and brutal battlefield!
Countless terrifying booms echoed across the water, as if the Sea God were beating a great war drum.
All the experts of the Four Great Dynasties charged at the corrupted ships!
A terrifying volley of attacks erupted, kicking up monstrous waves. The scene was a spectacular display of destruction.
Flames, hurricanes, lightning, torrential rain, golden light…
The corrupted ships sprouted tentacles, like massive octopuses, and continuously lashed out, smashing at the Divine Sea Experts.
The power of these corrupted ships was not to be underestimated. Soon, many Divine Sea Experts were struck down, their bodies exploding as blood rained upon the sea.
Han Yuan fought with fearless valor, single-handedly taking on three of the corrupted vessels.
He immediately activated the first stage of his Transformed Whale ability and unleashed his Primordial Boxing Technique. His fists were as terrifying as crashing meteors, pounding against the corrupted ships.
These corrupted ships already possessed the characteristics of a Source Evil Seed, including extremely powerful Recovery Power.
Even Han Yuan couldn’t destroy them quickly.
Not unless one of the ships swallowed him as before, giving him an opportunity from the inside.
But having learned their lesson, the corrupted ships wouldn’t make the same mistake.
Besides him, the others were also unleashing their own Divine Powers.
Zhang Cang stood on the deck of the Great Cang Ship, holding a Peach Wood Sword and performing a ritual!
“Lei Gong, aid me!”
Zhang Cang raised his Peach Wood Sword and abruptly pointed it to the heavens.
BOOM!!!
Countless bolts of lightning crashed down, creating a terrifying electrical storm that hammered the corrupted ships.
Ling Yunzi, for his part, summoned a phantom of the Vermilion Bird Divine Bird.
A rain of fire fell, creating a magnificent, dazzling spectacle.
…
The battle raged for a full day and night, yet it still wasn’t over.
“Primordial Elemental Magnetic Burst!”
A Golden Evil Aura surged around Han Yuan, forming a terrifying magnetic storm that seemed intent on pulverizing everything.
He threw a punch, viciously smashing it into one of the corrupted ships.
This particular ship had already taken many of Han Yuan’s attacks. It finally gave way, torn to pieces by the Primordial Magnetic Storm!
BOOM!!!
As the corrupted ship exploded, a pillar of water shot up toward the sky.
Just then, Han Yuan, who was still in mid-air, felt a sudden, heart-stopping sense of dread.
A Dark Trident, tangled with seaweed, appeared unnaturally behind Han Yuan and thrust toward his back.
“Unmoving as a Mountain!”
Han Yuan roared, activating his strongest defensive ability.
A phantom of the Five Elements Divine Mountain instantly materialized in the air, enveloping him.
BANG!!!
The Dark Trident carried a terrifying, corrupting aura that even the Five Elements Divine Mountain struggled to block.
Its phantom layers were pierced one by one, and the trident was about to strike Han Yuan’s back.
But that was enough time for Han Yuan to react.
He spun around and threw a punch through the air.
Primordial Heaven-Burning!
BOOM!!!
Fist and trident collided, unleashing a powerful and terrifying shockwave.
The two figures were violently thrown apart in mid-air.
Han Yuan plunged into the water like a cannonball. The surface of the sea buckled inward, sending a hundred-meter-tall column of water into the air.
The other figure was sent flying backward, crashing into one of the corrupted ships.
BANG!
The next moment.
Han Yuan shot up from the water, landing directly on the deck of that same corrupted ship.
Han Yuan finally got a clear look at his ambusher.
It was a creature with pale skin and fish scales covering its body. Its head was that of an octopus, with many bizarre, writhing tentacles.
“A Source Evil Seed?”
Han Yuan narrowed his eyes.
Source Evil Seeds were weaker than Source Seed Shredded Meat, but they possessed their own consciousness.
This was because most Source Evil Seeds were living creatures that had been infected by a Source Seed.
Although their minds were utterly fallen and corrupted, they could still think and retained their own awareness.
Source Seed Shredded Meat was different. It was nothing but chaos, distortion, and evil…
‘However, this octopus monster seems more powerful than an ordinary Source Evil Seed,’ Han Yuan thought.
He immediately thought of a possibility.
‘This thing might have devoured some Source Seed Shredded Meat.’
‘Source Evil Seeds have an unnatural craving for Source Seed Shredded Meat.’
‘Devouring it allows them to mutate rapidly and gain even greater power.’
‘Why does the Immortal Sect Organization have so much Source Seed Shredded Meat…?’
‘One of the continents must be in trouble.’
Han Yuan narrowed his eyes.
‘Seventy-two pieces of Source Seed Shredded Meat were sealed across four continents.’
‘Here on the Southern Star Continent, only a few pieces have broken free.’
‘But who knows what’s happening on the others.’
‘The four continents are so far apart that communication is too difficult.’
The octopus monster stared at Han Yuan and spoke in a human tongue. “You are Han Yuan?”
“I am… I’m surprised a Source Evil Seed would know who I am,” Han Yuan said, taken aback.
“I heard the Nether Dragon mention your name.”
“He ordered me to kill you.”
The tentacles on the octopus monster’s face writhed even more violently.
“You think *you* can kill me?”
“I’m afraid you’ll find that… difficult.”
Han Yuan said with a smile.
“Is that so?”
The octopus monster suddenly pointed its Trident at Han Yuan.
BOOM!!!
Countless tentacles made of water instantly erupted from the gloomy, ice-cold sea.
The watery appendages intertwined and crashed down viciously upon Han Yuan!
BOOM!!!
Even the corrupted ship they stood on was smashed to pieces in that instant.
The ferocity of the attack was unimaginable.
But Han Yuan was completely unharmed.
Water Evil Qi surged from his body, making him completely immune to the damage from the water tentacles.
He was even able to stand on the surface of the water, his eyes locked on the octopus monster before him.
“How interesting.”
“No wonder the Nether Dragon insisted that I kill you!”
The octopus monster let out a long shriek, raised its Trident, and charged straight for Han Yuan!
