Crack- Boom!!!

A mix of red and violet blur passed through the city, leaving behind sonic booms as it made its way through it.

Raiden watched as the scenery flew past him in a blur, with the ground cracking and leaving behind a crater with every step that Woolie took.

He knew he was causing massive damage at the moment, but he didn’t care about any of it right now.

"Rose, which way next?!!" Raiden shouted loudly, his voice being muffled by the wind.

"Hiss Shiss!!!" Turn right, big brother!! We are getting closer. Rose can feel it!!

Rose answered while being wrapped around Raiden’s neck.

"Woolie Woo!!" Alright, hold on tight!! We are going to go even faster!!

Woolie kicked things into even higher gear once more as the thunder around him became even more concentrated, causing steam to rise up from his body.

Raiden braced his body against Woolie as he felt the oncoming rush of the wind, almost causing him to fall off, but he didn’t ask him to slow down at all.

"Soon, Sylvia. Really soon. Just wait for me a little."

Bang!

Damn it!! The whole city has been locked down; we can’t get out!!" A blurry man hit his fist on the wall with force, causing it to crack and fall down.

"Relax, man; we knew something like this was bound to happen sooner or later. Besides, wasn’t our whole purpose in doing this to lure him out of his farm and into our trap??" Another man wearing a trench coat flicked his Zippo, lighting his cigarette and taking a long drag.

"I think you are right, but we have potentially got more than we bargained for. The boy has connections, so strong connections. Right now, the whole city is on lockdown and looking for us. The airways, the ground, everything is on lockdown, and I am constantly fighting off cyberattacks to track our position as I speak." A guy in glasses had a slimy face. Spoke as he quickly kept tapping on the laptop.

"Damn it. It’s all your fault. I told you we should have picked a more discreet location, you bitch!!" The girl the blurry guy pointed at the woman was sitting on a box or crate on the side, eating lollipops without a care in the world, with the sweetest smile on her face.

"Hahh?! What did you say to me, you shitface? I only gave the idea. Everybody else agreed to it. Now you’re trying to pin the blame on me. Fuck, well, fuck you too!!" Her face quickly morphed into a terrifying visage as she hurled curses one after another at the big guy, causing him to shrink back a little.

"All right, enough!! We don’t have time for this. Every second we waste, the closer they get to finding us, and there is no way in hell I’m going to fight the entire city by myself." The guy who was smoking while wearing a suit spoke as he played with his lighter, flicking it open and close again and again.

"Fine, I’ll let you go for now. Hey, four-eyes, what’s the plan next?!!" The girl turned around and shouted at the guy clicking away on the laptop, who adjusted his glasses with his middle finger.

"I would really appreciate it if you call me by name, Bai Zheng, Lola. As for the next, there is only one way to get out of this mess. We need to call him."

"Him?! Who is him??" The woman questioned with a scowl on her face.

"He’s talking about Raiden, you dumbass!! It was due to the boy’s connections that the whole city was locked down, so the plan is pretty simple: we threaten him and make him withdraw all the forces." The guy dragging a cigarette spoke as he glared at the woman.

"Oh, that’s brilliant. That’s so brilliant, Trevor!! You are such a genius." The woman ignored the insulting part of his speech as she clapped her hands together in joy.

"So who is going to call him??" The blurry guy spoke up next, causing everyone to fall silent as they looked at each other before they all finally started looking at the bespectacled person sitting in the middle.

"Me? You guys want me to call him, of all people??" Bai Zheng pointed at himself in disbelief.

"Of course, who else would it be? You were his team leader once, no? You are the most familiar with him. Go on, call that guy. Reconnect. Rekindle your old memories and shit." Trevor spoke as he finished his cigarette before stomping it down on the ground.

"Uh-huh, uh-huh!! Trevi is right!! Go on, call your old flame!!" The woman chimed in as she giggled in glee.

Seeing the third guy also nodding his head in agreement, Bai Zheng let out a resigned sigh before he started speaking.

"If that’s what you guys want, fine. I’ll be the one who will call him, but before that, are all the preparations ready?? Because from what I heard from the rumours and reports, there is no way in hell we can beat that guy by ourselves." Bai Zheng spoke in a very serious tone.

"Speak for yourself, Four Eyes!! I, The Great Demoness Lola, will take care of that guy all by myself. Just you wait and watch!!" The woman had a bloodthirsty look in her eyes as she spoke.

"Ignore that maniac; all the preparations are ready. As soon as he enters our domain, he won’t be walking out of here alive." The blurry guy standing by the window spoke in affirmation.

"Even though I’m very sceptical about the reports and rumours of his strength, it’s better to stay cautious after all, so we’ll proceed according to the plan. Bai Zheng, call him." Trevor spoke up at last, causing Bai Zheng to stop dwindling as he pulled his cell phone out before he dialled a familiar number.

After two rings, the guy on the other side picked up.

"HELLO??"

"Hello~?? It’s really good to hear your voice again, Raiden. I just wanted to tell you your sister is with us. You wouldn’t want anything to happen to her, would you...??"
