I Just Wanted to Teach Cultivation, But Goddesses Keep Coming!
Chapter 669 Crushed Under the Weight of Seven Wives’ Pure, Unadulterated Fondness
Chapter 669: Chapter 669 Crushed Under the Weight of Seven Wives’ Pure, Unadulterated Fondness
"Oh, don’t worry, my sweet. We have all the time in the world. Days. Weeks. Months, if you hold up well. I’ve got a cellar full of wine, a rack of tools that’ll make you sing, and a very, very patient disposition."
He straightened up, his bulk blotting out the torchlight, and Xu Ran saw for the first time the full scope of the man... towering, mountainous, with arms like tree trunks and hands that could encircle his throat with room to spare.
The fatty reached down and undid the first knot of Xu Ran’s bindings with surprising delicacy, his thick fingers working with the practiced ease of a man who had done this many, many times before.
"There we go," he cooed, as Xu Ran’s right arm came free and only to be immediately pinned again by the fatty’s weight.
"Nice and easy. No rushing. I promised you a long, long time, didn’t I? And I always keep my promises."
Xu Ran squeezed his eyes shut, tears leaking from the corners, as the big fatty’s shadow descended over him.
The torch guttered and spat.
Somewhere in the distance, a dog howled, and Xu Ran could only wish to escape from this place.
But that hope felt very, very far away now, smothered beneath the suffocating warmth of the fatty’s embrace, as the man began to give Xu Ran all the kind of loving he had forced unto the many women he hunted in the past.
Now it was his turn on the chopping block.
"Ahhhhh!"
The night stretched on, endless and dark, and Xu Ran learned that some hungers could never be fully sated.
***
Morning arrived quietly.
Yet despite Xu Ran’s disappearance, hardly anyone noticed.
That was hardly surprising.
Lin Feng’s academy now had more than fifty thousand students.
With so many cultivators coming and going every day, one thirty-year-old cultivator disappearing from the crowd was little more than a drop of water vanishing into the ocean.
Most people were far too busy discussing their own cultivation breakthroughs, reviewing the lessons they had learned, or desperately trying to comprehend the profound mysteries hidden within Lin Feng’s seemingly simple words.
As for Xu Ran?
He had already become yesterday’s news.
And, more importantly, Lin Feng had no intention of wasting time thinking about him.
On this beautiful Tuesday morning, Lin Feng looked over the sea of students before him.
His mood was particularly good.
After all, the troublesome fellow had already been sent to his new "retirement home."
And judging from the circumstances, Xu Ran would probably be enjoying a very long stay there.
The thought of Big Fatty Zhang San was enough to make Lin Feng smile.
He had always remained true to his principles.
Lin Feng did not consider himself a righteous hero who needed to cleanse the entire world of every evil person.
The cultivation world was enormous, and there would always be villains, schemers, bandits, and people with twisted hearts.
As long as they did not appear in front of him and cause trouble, Lin Feng generally could not be bothered to care.
Everyone had their own karma.
If someone wanted to walk down an evil path, that was their choice.
But there was one very important rule.
Do not do evil in front of Lin Feng.
Those who ignored that rule would eventually discover just how terrible their decision had been.
Xu Ran was simply the latest example.
Lin Feng shook his head, put the matter completely out of his mind, and looked toward the students.
"Alright, class is beginning. Everyone, settle down."
His voice was not particularly loud.
Yet the moment those words were spoken, the enormous classroom instantly became silent.
More than fifty thousand cultivators straightened their backs and focused their attention on the man standing before them.
For them, this was another precious opportunity.
For Lin Feng, it was simply another ordinary day of teaching.
He smiled faintly.
"Today, we are going to talk about..."
His voice echoed across the academy.
And just like that, the new lesson began.
When the clock struck twelve, the morning lessons finally came to an end.
Lin Feng stretched lazily before heading back home for lunch.
Unlike the previous days, he had no intention of taking his women out to one of the restaurants in the city.
There were plenty of delicious dishes waiting for him at home anyway, and more importantly, he had something far more productive to do this afternoon.
As he sat down at the dining table with his women, Lin Feng suddenly remembered something.
"Hmmm..."
He paused with his chopsticks in hand, a thoughtful expression appearing on his face.
"I should probably check on my disciple today."
Lin Feng only had one disciple so far.
Just one.
For someone who had thousands upon thousands of students attending his classes, having only a single official disciple made the situation rather amusing.
Yet precisely because he had only one, Lin Feng felt that he could not afford to neglect her.
After all, what kind of teacher would he be if he accepted a disciple and then completely forgot about her?
"That wouldn’t look good at all," Lin Feng muttered.
The women around the table exchanged amused glances.
Their husband could casually teach tens of thousands of cultivators, causing countless people to experience enlightenment, yet he was somehow worried about whether he was being a good enough teacher to his one and only disciple.
Lin Feng, however, did not notice their expressions.
He was already thinking about what his disciple had been doing recently.
It had been quite some time since he last checked on her.
"I wonder how she’s progressing."
Lin Feng took another bite of food and nodded to himself.
"After lunch, I’ll go take a look."
His eyes carried a faint smile.
Perhaps his disciple had made some progress.
Or perhaps she had encountered a problem.
Either way, as his teacher, Lin Feng felt that it was time to pay her a visit.
