Chapter 575: Chapter 369: Fight Until Dawn, Whoever Chickens Out is a Dog

But now, being looked down upon by a single masked man, the Red Blood Gang members roared with laughter. "You sound pretty young," one of them jeered. "You can’t be that old!"

"So what if you awakened a Flame Superpower? You’re way too arrogant, kid."

"There’s no escape for you today. You’re going to die by our hands..."

Unlike his subordinates, who were openly mocking Lin Li, the new Gang Leader of the Red Blood Gang, Fang Jingtang, grew vigilant the moment he heard the masked man’s words.

"Gang Leader, let’s stop wasting our breath on this guy! Let’s just grab him, tear off his mask, and see what he looks like."

"This bastard trashed our headquarters. Once we get our hands on him, I’m going to torture him relentlessly."

"No, let me! I’m way better at torture than you are."

Barely able to contain their fury, the Red Blood Gang members chimed in one after another with increasingly vicious threats.

An ordinary person, surrounded by such a vicious pack of thugs and listening to their venomous threats, would likely have gone limp with fear, collapsing to the ground to beg for mercy.

But Lin Li was no ordinary person. The torrent of abuse from the Red Blood Gang members didn’t make him nervous in the slightest. In fact, it only hardened his resolve to eliminate every last one of these scumbags.

Initially, Fang Jingtang had planned to capture the arsonist alive. He wanted to torture him to find out who was pulling the strings.

But after hearing Lin Li’s claim that he could wipe them all out, he became extremely wary. He immediately abandoned the idea of taking him alive and ordered his subordinates to use their full strength.

"Move! Don’t hold back. If you get a chance to kill him, take it."

"Gang Leader? Aren’t we going to capture him alive and interrogate him to find the one who sent him?" a Red Blood Gang member asked, confused by the order.

"There’s no need to interrogate him. He must have been sent by the Flying Dragon Gang," Fang Jingtang said offhandedly.

The Red Blood Gang members nodded in agreement. His reasoning was sound.

After all, while there were no explicit rules in gang warfare, ordering an attack on a rival’s headquarters was an act that signified an irreconcilable feud—a fight to the death.

An unwritten rule existed among the gangs: unless you were prepared for a war of annihilation, you didn’t send men to burn down a rival’s base.

The feud between the Red Blood Gang and their rivals, the Flying Dragon Gang, had been deepening for years. They were just about at that point of no return.

So when someone showed up to burn down the Red Blood Gang’s headquarters, anyone who knew of the history between the two gangs would naturally assume the other side was responsible.

"Get him!" Fang Jingtang commanded once more.

Already impatient and with their rage boiling over, the Red Blood Gang members didn’t hesitate any longer. Drawing their weapons, they surged forward, shouting as they closed in on Lin Li, ready to hack him to pieces.

SNAP.

Lin Li calmly raised his left hand and snapped his fingers. Sparks flew from his fingertips, flaring as they shot outward and rapidly expanding in mid-air.

In an instant, more than a dozen watermelon-sized Fireballs materialized from the air, orbiting Lin Li’s body.

The Red Blood Gang members, who had been about to swarm Lin Li and cut him down, were forced to a halt. The dozen or so Fireballs orbiting him made it impossible to get any closer.

Lin Li watched the Red Blood Gang members, blocked by his wall of Fireballs. A slight smirk touched his lips, and then he planted his feet firmly on the ground.

"Watch out!" Fang Jingtang shouted to his men the instant he saw Lin Li’s knees bend.

The moment Lin Li stomped, the Fireballs orbiting his body shot out in all directions.

The Red Blood Gang members who had rushed forward to kill Lin Li scrambled in a panic as the Fireballs flew toward them.

At that same moment, Lin Li shot forward from his spot, charging straight into the panicking crowd.

SHLICK.

SHLICK.

SHLICK...

"Aaargh..."

Wielding a Spiritual Artifact Dagger that glowed with a faint golden Spiritual Light, Lin Li weaved through the crowd. Every time he brushed past a Red Blood Gang member, a scream would follow, and a body would fall.

In just a few moments, Lin Li had killed seven of the Red Blood Gang’s grunts.

"He’s only at the Second Rank Initial Stage! Don’t panic! Attack him together! Hack him into a bloody pulp!" shouted a minor Red Blood Gang leader, having sensed the Second Rank Initial Stage Spiritual Energy Wave radiating from Lin Li.

After finishing off another grunt, Lin Li spun around and lunged at the minor gang leader who had just shouted about hacking him into a pulp.

"Damn it! Go to hell!" The minor leader roared when he saw Lin Li charging at him. He raised his axe and brought it down toward Lin Li’s head.

CLANG...

The Spiritual Artifact Dagger, still glowing with its faint golden Spiritual Light, met the descending axe with a sharp, ringing sound.

With a flick of his wrist, Lin Li parried the axe aside, then drove a kick into the minor leader’s chest.

THUMP.

The immense force of the blow instantly shattered the man’s sternum. A bloodcurdling scream escaped his lips.
