’I seem to have offended it terribly. I hope we don’t cross paths.’

After the guard disciple finished his explanation, he handed the Teleportation Jade Pendant to Yu Changsheng.

Yu Changsheng secured the Jade Pendant and stepped into a blue vortex.
The next second, his figure appeared inside the Secret Realm.
Towering ancient trees and a vast, sprawling jungle stretched out as far as the eye could see.
Yu Changsheng steadied himself and immersed his Divine Sense into the Jade Pendant to check the map of the Ten Thousand Beasts Secret Realm.
’It seems I’m not in the Wild Mountain Monkeys’ territory. Good.’

The Ten Thousand Beasts Secret Realm was a Tier One Secret Realm, so Tier One Peak was the strongest anything could be inside. If any Demon Beast broke through to Tier Two, it would be captured by a Foundation Establishment Great Power and either be used as material or transferred to a higher-level Secret Realm.
Thus, this place was primarily a training ground for Qi Refiners. However, Beast Taming Peak had few disciples, so barely anyone ever came to this Secret Realm.

Facing a pincer attack, the Red Refining Snake showed no fear. After activating its Water Spirit Illusion Armor, it slammed its head into the abdomen of one of the Illusory Bee Wolves.

The Red Refining Snake flipped over, whipped its tail out, coiled it around an Illusory Bee Wolf, and flung it far into the distance.
Meanwhile, on the other side, Yu Changsheng formed a hand seal and summoned the Golden-Winged Eagle to deal with the remaining Illusory Bee Wolf in the valley.
"SKREEE!" The Golden-Winged Eagle let out a piercing cry.
It spread its wings wide, stirring up gusts of wind, and used its size to press down directly on the Illusory Bee Wolf, pinning it with its talons.
It was like an eagle snatching a chick.
From the start, Yu Changsheng had instructed it to capture the Illusory Bee Wolf alive and unharmed, so the Golden-Winged Eagle was holding back considerably.
But the captured Illusory Bee Wolf refused to submit. It struggled furiously, its tail stabbing toward the Golden-Winged Eagle’s wings!

After eating it, the Golden-Winged Eagle seemed to feel much better.
’Perhaps for the next fusion, I can focus on improving the Golden-Winged Eagle’s Defense Force,’ Yu Changsheng thought.
The Golden-Winged Eagle’s current strength was already sufficient. It could fly, and its speed and burst power were fine. Its only flaw was its insufficient Defense Force.
Once its next fusion improved its defense, the Golden-Winged Eagle could, like the Red Refining Snake, just brute-force its way through everything.
