“Where are you guys going?”

Wu Jiahao scrambled up from the ground and hurried to catch up with them. “Are you guys going to get food?” he asked.

Gu Qing answered, “We’re going to the warehouse to collect our reward.”

Wu Jiahao pressed, “What reward?”

Gu Qing said, “The recruitment reward for recommending my junior to join the Night Court.”

“Oh, I see,” Wu Jiahao said. “Well, I’ve got nothing better to do. I’ll tag along for the fun of it. We can all go eat after you collect your reward.”

“Suit yourself,” Gu Qing replied.

Seeing the three of them about to leave, Liu Yue scrambled up from the ground and jogged after them, shouting, “You’re all leaving without me? That’s so mean!”

Wu Jiahao glanced back. “I thought you were tired and decided to take a nap on the floor.”

Wu Jiahao replied, “Sorry, no sister. You’re targeting the Void on that one.”

“Then sleep with your mom!”

Liu Yue was quick on her feet, decisively switching targets.

Unfortunately, Wu Jiahao was even quicker. “Sorry, still targeting the Void. My teammates already claimed my mom back when I used to play LoL and CF.”

Liu Yue was spent. She couldn’t curse anymore. It was like punching cotton.
