Chapter 606: The Power of the Eyes

“Ning Jiang, with your strength, you’re worthy of witnessing my Brahma King Celestial Demon Skill!”

Xuanyuan Bi’an took a deep breath. He could feel the threat radiating from Ning Jiang.

With his sword drawn, Ning Jiang was far more terrifying than before. Xuanyuan Bi’an knew he had to use his true abilities.

Darkness surged around him, endlessly billowing upward.

Gripping the Thunder Dragon Sword, Ning Jiang slashed upward. The sharp Sword Aura collided with the dark palm but was instantly shattered. The giant palm’s momentum was unbroken as it continued to crash down. The very air around him seemed to solidify, threatening to crush him flat.

“Hmph.”

Ning Jiang snorted coldly. Rings of light blossomed from his sword as he slashed out once more.

Sword Suppressing Sun and Moon.

Before this strike, even the sun and moon would be eclipsed. It was a truly breathtaking attack.

The palm of the Celestial Demon Dharma Body was sliced open, but darkness immediately surged at the wound, knitting it back together. In moments, it was completely healed.

This scene reminded some of the onlookers of the Desert Giant from the Linglong Tower.

The Desert Giant was much like this Celestial Demon Dharma Body; both could regenerate their wounds, making them incredibly difficult to kill.

‘Does this Dharma Body also possess some kind of immortality?’ Gu Huaying wondered, her shock and uncertainty giving way to a sudden cry. “Ning Jiang, look out!”

The Celestial Demon Dharma Body’s enormous hands suddenly slammed together, attempting to crush Ning Jiang between them.

Ning Jiang condensed his Thunder Power, forming a Thunder Dharma Body around himself. This Thunder Dharma Body was only ten zhang tall, appearing minuscule in comparison to the Celestial Demon Dharma Body.

With the sharp ring of his sword, he controlled the Thunder Dragon Sword, achieving the state of Man and Sword as One. He accelerated abruptly, dodging the two black beams of light.

The two black beams of light missed their target and shot into the sea.

The water parted without a sound, the beams carving two vacuum tunnels through it. Only after the light vanished did the surrounding seawater rush in to fill the void.

Just then, the Celestial Demon Dharma Body opened its mouth and let out a tremendous roar.

The air rippled like water, spreading out in concentric circles.

The power of this strike was more than ten times greater than Sword Suppressing Sun and Moon. The Sword Aura was like a white rainbow piercing the sun. To the onlookers, it was nothing more than a flash of white light, gone in an instant.

In the next instant, a large hole appeared in the throat of the Celestial Demon Dharma Body, and the Sound Wave Power ceased abruptly.

Ning Jiang circulated his Power and cried out, “Heaven-Devouring Sparrow, come forth!”

A stream of Essence Qi rose from the crown of his head, instantly transforming into a colossal black sparrow.

As Ning Jiang’s Cultivation had increased, the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow’s Power had grown with it. A true Heaven-Devouring Sparrow, at its full potential, could swallow an entire continent in a single gulp.

The current Heaven-Devouring Sparrow had long since surpassed the Thunder Dharma Body in strength.

After all, it was the Dharma Body created by the Heaven-Devouring Demon Skill. This Supreme Celestial Skill was in no way inferior to Xuanyuan Bi’an’s Brahma King True Demon Skill—in fact, it was superior.

The Heaven-Devouring Sparrow beat its wings, instantly appearing before the Celestial Demon Dharma Body. It opened its beak, and an unparalleled Devouring Power surged forth.

The color drained from Xuanyuan Bi’an’s face. In the face of this terrifying Devouring Power, his Celestial Demon Dharma Body could barely hold its ground. Worse, its Energy was rapidly draining away, being absorbed by the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow.

This Energy came directly from him.

In other words, the Heaven-Devouring Sparrow was siphoning away his own Power.

‘Damn it, what kind of Dharma Body is this? Even my Celestial Demon Dharma Body is being suppressed.’

Xuanyuan Bi’an was inwardly shocked. His Celestial Demon Dharma Body should have been able to contend with even a Heaven-Reaching Realm expert, yet now it was being completely countered by Ning Jiang’s Dharma Body.

Xuanyuan Bi’an’s eyes turned pitch black. Anyone who met his gaze would feel their very mind and soul being pulled into them.

As his voice fell, all light vanished from the space. Everyone was plunged into a darkness so complete, they couldn’t see their hands in front of their faces.
