Chapter 353: Chapter 353: Titan Giant, the Might of the Universal Sniper Rifle

Seraphina Sullivan’s taunt came through clearly.

Her tone was placid, yet it held a trace of undeniable certainty.

Solomon Ennis’s face instantly grew as dark as stormy waters, cold enough to freeze.

His enormous Titan Giant body lurched to a halt.

He then slowly turned, his scarlet eyes locking onto Seraphina Sullivan and her group on the distant rooftop like a pair of searchlights.

To be so openly disdained by some "nobody" of a woman, who then proceeded to "steal" the critical kill right from under his nose.

This utterly ignited Solomon Ennis’s tyrannical rage.

"Looks like his primary target has shifted from the two on his menu to all of us."

Sean Chandler analyzed calmly, his voice betraying little emotion. He just tightened his grip on his weapon, readying himself for battle.

"Enough talk! Let’s pull back!"

Julian Shaw reacted in a flash. He knew just how terrifying Solomon Ennis’s destructive power was in his Titan form, and this was absolutely not the time for a direct confrontation.

With a low grunt, he unleashed his [Gravity Control] at full power, enveloping all seven of them, intending to launch them higher and farther away to create some distance.

However, Seraphina Sullivan didn’t move.

She stood her ground, even adjusting her stance slightly as Julian Shaw’s [Force Field] began to lift her. The invisible [Universal Sniper Rifle] in her hands rose once more.

The gaping black muzzle was aimed with pinpoint accuracy at the distant, mountain-like figure.

Seraphina Sullivan’s gaze was sharp, filled with an eager, probing curiosity.

’Using this relatively weaker Beloved of the God of Slaughter for some practice doesn’t seem like a bad idea.’

The thought flashed through her mind.

Seraphina Sullivan hadn’t forgotten her promise to Belle White, the Beloved of the God of Freedom.

The stronger, purer Beloved of the God of Slaughter—Maxim—was still waiting for her in the Death Arena.

This Solomon Ennis right here might just be the perfect opportunity to familiarize herself with the fighting style and [Weaknesses] of this type of opponent.

As her sniper rifle locked on,

An invisible, bone-chilling sense of danger coiled around Solomon Ennis’s heart like a venomous snake!

His [Slaughter Art] [Talent] made his perception of killing intent and mortal threats far superior to that of an ordinary person.

Now, being targeted by that seemingly ethereal sniper rifle,

Solomon Ennis could almost see a dotted line leading straight to his demise, extending from the muzzle and pointing directly at his vital spots!

This feeling was even clearer—even more... inescapable—than when he faced other powerhouses of his own caliber!

’Damn it! What kind of gun is that?!’ Alarm bells blared in Solomon Ennis’s mind.

He could manipulate killing intent to mimic all sorts of melee weapons, even firearms. But he had never felt such pure killing intent from a gun—an intent that felt as if it carried a rule of "guaranteed hit."

His massive Titan form boasted incredible power and defense, but it also made him a ridiculously conspicuous and cumbersome target.

Instinct screamed at him: he could not, under any circumstances, take that shot!

He reacted on pure survival instinct.

Solomon Ennis’s colossal Titan body instantly deflated like a punctured balloon, rapidly shrinking and dissipating until he returned to his normal human size.

Simultaneously, his figure flickered like a phantom. In an utterly graceless but brutally effective tactical maneuver, he dove for cover directly behind a common zombie that was aimlessly shambling nearby!

The very instant he moved—

"PHUT!"

It was a sound so faint it was nearly inaudible.

A perfectly round, basketball-sized hole with impossibly smooth edges materialized out of thin air in the chest of the unlucky zombie in front of him!

The void punched straight through its torso. The organs, bones, and even flesh within were gone, as if precisely excised by the most masterful surgeon’s scalpel. They had vanished without a trace, leaving only a bizarre, gaping hole through which light could pass.

The zombie stood rigid for a second before collapsing silently to the ground.

This was clearly the power of Seraphina Sullivan’s [Space Bullet]!

Seeing the zombie’s grisly fate,

A drop of cold sweat beaded on Solomon Ennis’s temple.

He knew with absolute certainty that if he had been even a tenth of a second slower, or if that zombie hadn’t been in the way...

...that circular void would have appeared in the chest or head of his Titan body!

It wouldn’t have been a simple piercing wound. It would have been total "erasure"!

"A pity."

Seraphina Sullivan clicked her tongue, retracting her sniper rifle. Her tone held a hint of regret, as if she’d merely missed a routine shot.

Her casual, dismissive attitude was more humiliating and infuriating to Solomon Ennis than any verbal taunt could ever be.

But what he felt most of all was a cold dread, like being stalked by a venomous snake. It was a feeling mixed with fear and a frenzied, murderous intent.

’This woman with the gun... she has to die!’

’And I’ll make her die in endless pain and terror!’

Solomon Ennis’s eyes became utterly crazed and bloodthirsty, like a starving wolf that had just locked onto its prey.

However, his twisted thoughts quickly took a different turn.

’That sniper rifle is powerful, but they’re clearly hesitant. They don’t have the guts to fight me to the death in the middle of the city.’

’Perhaps... I can use a more... "interesting" method.’

’If... I could lash her with the [Slave Whip]...’

An image surfaced in Solomon Ennis’s mind: Seraphina Sullivan’s calm face, contorting in a struggle between pain and twisted pleasure.

...her eyes finally losing their light as she became a slave who would obey his every command.

This sent a surge of even more perverted excitement through Solomon Ennis.

’Such a powerful and unique prey... turning her into a slave for my amusement... what a magnificent work of art that would be!’

If Seraphina Sullivan had known the filthy thoughts running through this man’s head, her reaction would not have been a simple, regretful "a pity."

Instead, she would have turned right back around and, at any cost, snuffed out this threat completely.

For this kind of mental pollutant, the best solution was physical [Purification].

However, Julian Shaw’s caution—or perhaps his deep-seated fear of Solomon Ennis—prevailed. His [Gravity Control] whisked the group swiftly away from the area, temporarily halting any potential follow-up from Seraphina Sullivan.

"As long as we’re away from that maniac for now, we’re good."

Julian Shaw let out a sigh of relief, but his brow remained tightly furrowed.

Coco Sullivan patted her chest, her heart still pounding. "I hope we never run into that guy again. What rotten luck."

Flora Sullivan, who had been listening quietly the whole time, tilted her head, a little confused. In her characteristically flat tone, she proposed a "simple" solution.

"If you’re all so afraid of him, and you think he’s so hard to deal with, and you hate him so much... why don’t you just figure out a way to eliminate him?

Once he’s dealt with, there won’t be anything left to worry about."

She said it so matter-of-factly, as if she were talking about whether or not to step on an unsightly insect.

Everyone fell silent.

Seraphina Sullivan glanced at Flora, sighing to herself. ’Flora is still so "pure".’

She understood that what Dustin Sullivan and the others were wary of probably wasn’t just Solomon Ennis’s personal strength, but the potential for some unknown, rule-based suppression from his [Slaughter Art] [Talent].

Not to mention that evil [Slave Whip].

Engaging in a fight to the death with such a bizarrely-Abled enemy without sufficient understanding or confidence was an extremely high-risk gamble.

"It’s a nice thought, but this Solomon Ennis really is tough to deal with. Cunning and cruel, too."
