Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme

Chapter 168: Eternal Vitality

  • Next Chapter

Victor navigated the bustling thoroughfares of the city, making his way toward a high-end establishment designed specifically for elite travelers and warriors from various universal factions.

To avoid unnecessary attention, tedious greetings, and potential ambushes from envious organizations, he subtly warped the light around his face, altering his features until he appeared to be nothing more than an unremarkable human traveler. Nobody paid him a second glance as he checked in and proceeded directly to a private suite on the top floor.

As soon as he entered the room, Victor sealed the entrance behind him. A dense layer of dark violet domain energy surged from his palm, spreading across the walls, floor, and ceiling until the entire suite was enveloped within a powerful barrier.

The barrier severed all spatial connections with the outside world, preventing divine senses, technological scanning probes, and even high-level spatial perception from reaching inside. Satisfied that his privacy was absolute, Victor sat cross-legged on the floor and turned his consciousness inward.

He summoned the final three stages of the Eternal Body cultivation technique within his sea of consciousness and carefully examined their descriptions. His gaze lingered on the eighth stage for several moments before he finally began reading its contents.

"The 8th level: Eternal Vitality: Your body will no longer age or die from the loss of vitality. You have surpassed the cosmic cycle of death caused by the decay of life."

Victor nodded slowly as he contemplated the meaning behind those words. Even Universal Supremes possessed finite lifespans, although theirs were measured in billions of years. Once their inner vitality completely withered away, their souls would eventually fade into the endless river of time.

Eternal Vitality did not grant absolute immortality without limitations. Instead, it allowed the body to continuously refine ambient energy into pure life force, replenishing its vitality without end.

Even if an enemy forcibly drained his vitality, Victor’s cells could rapidly regenerate what had been lost as long as an external source of energy remained available. It was a tremendous transformation, one that brought his physical body another enormous step closer to true eternal existence.

"The creator of this technique must have been a Chaos God, or perhaps an existence even beyond that level. Only someone like that could create something truly eternal," Victor muttered under his breath as a faint trace of anticipation appeared in his eyes. "Let’s begin."

He immediately focused his thoughts on the system interface floating within his sea of consciousness and issued the command without hesitation.

"System, use 100 trillion evolution points to evolve the technique."

[- 100 trillion evolution points.]

The moment the system confirmed the deduction, an overwhelming tidal wave of primordial force erupted from within Victor’s chest. The immense energy surged through every part of his body like an unstoppable current, violently colliding with the invisible shackles that had been suppressing the deeper potential of his Chaos Body. Under the sheer pressure of that force, the second major lock restricting his physical potential finally shattered.

Boom!

A profound vibration rippled through his entire body as the shattered restriction dissolved into nothingness. At the same time, a mysterious transformation began taking place within every cell, causing his physical foundation to undergo a fundamental evolution that went far beyond ordinary cultivation.

[Ding! Your body has reached the Eternal Vitality level.]

[Ding! Your bloodline has evolved from Grade 7 to Grade 8.]

[Ding! You have comprehended 0.0001% of the Law of Chaos.]

The moment the notifications appeared, an indescribable sensation engulfed Victor’s consciousness. His pupils gradually disappeared as his eyes turned completely pitch black, while an overwhelming pressure began spreading from his body. His Universal Form activated automatically, dragging his consciousness into that mysterious and boundless state once again.

Within that elevated state, Victor felt as though the entire universe had become an extension of his own mind. Every star, every planet, every strand of energy seemed to exist within his perception, allowing him to observe the vast cosmos with a perspective that transcended ordinary understanding. For the first time, however, his perception did not stop at the boundaries of the universe.

It continued outward.

His consciousness pierced through the cosmic barrier and reached the turbulent Chaos Sea surrounding the universe. In the endless darkness beyond, Victor immediately noticed a gigantic Chaos Storm drifting relentlessly through the boundless void. Its sheer size was difficult to comprehend, and yet, as he gazed upon it, an instinctive understanding emerged within his mind.

He could destroy it.

A single thought was enough.

Victor’s gaze shifted downward, passing through the spatial rift connected to the Howling Abyss Trench. His perception crossed the boundary between dimensions and entered the endless Abyssal Dimension on the other side. Deep within that terrifying realm, his consciousness located the supreme abyssal entities lurking within the darkness.

For a brief moment, Victor felt an overwhelming sense of absolute authority.

If he wished, he could erase them.

Yet before he could extend that terrifying power toward either the Chaos Storm or the abyssal entities, the divine transformation suddenly began fading. The boundless sensation disappeared without warning, and Victor’s consciousness was abruptly pulled back into his physical body.

He opened his eyes inside the quiet hotel room and slowly released a long breath. His body felt fundamentally different from before, as though every cell had been filled with an inexhaustible vitality. Even without activating his Arch Demon transformation, Victor was confident that he could crush Nebula Realm beings with nothing more than a casual flick of his finger.

Curious about the changes taking place inside him, Victor immediately inspected his body with his spiritual perception. He soon discovered that approximately 0.0001% of his crimson blood had undergone a strange transformation, turning into a radiant purplish hue. Although it represented only a tiny fraction of his bloodline, the transformed blood radiated an extraordinarily high-level energy pulse that carried the mysterious essence of chaos.

"Could it be that my bloodline is directly transforming into the raw Law of Chaos?" Victor muttered thoughtfully as he observed the strange purple energy.

Before he could investigate further, another sensation caught his attention. Every cell within his body had begun greedily absorbing the pure mana from his source. Although he had never noticed it before, Victor realized that years of relentless battles and rapid breakthroughs had caused his body to lose an enormous amount of hidden vitality.

Now, under the effects of Eternal Vitality, that lost vitality was being replenished at an astonishing rate. Every cell absorbed the energy and refined it into pure life force, gradually restoring Victor’s body to a state of perfect vigor.

"Not bad," Victor murmured with satisfaction. "I only wish I could have destroyed that Chaos Storm and dealt with those abyssals while I was in that state."

His expression suddenly froze.

A strange realization struck him with overwhelming force.

"Wait... how can I clearly remember what happened during that subconscious form?"

Excitement immediately surged through Victor’s heart. In the past, whenever his Universal Form activated, his memory of everything that happened during the transformation would disappear completely afterward. At most, he could retain vague impressions or fragmented sensations, but the actual events were always beyond his conscious recollection.

This time was different.

Victor could clearly remember everything. He remembered the sensation of controlling the universe, the moment his perception reached the Chaos Sea, the gigantic storm drifting through its darkness, and even the terrifying abyssal leaders he had observed beyond the spatial rift.

He immediately attempted to enter that divine state again. Victor concentrated his will and focused on his newly comprehended Law of Chaos, attempting to cross that mysterious threshold through his own strength. Yet no matter how hard he tried, the door remained firmly closed, refusing to open even slightly.

"Perhaps I’ve finally taken another step toward my true potential," Victor whispered, a subtle smile appearing on his face. "That must be why I can retain the memories now. Looks like my earlier hypothesis was correct."

Meanwhile, in an entirely different region of the universe, Victor’s main body suddenly opened his eyes.

He was seated crossed legged in his cultivation room within the grand palace on the former Heavenly Demon Planet, a world that was now jointly ruled and protected by the human and elf alliances. At the exact moment his clone in the battlefield completed its breakthrough, his main body experienced the same transformation, reaching the eighth level of the Eternal Body and attaining Eternal Vitality.

Yet today was no ordinary day on the planet.

Today was the day of Victor’s grand wedding ceremony.

The entire planet had been decorated for the occasion, with magnificent ornaments covering cities, palaces, streets, and floating structures. Brilliant celestial fireworks continuously illuminated the sky, while flying carriages carrying diplomats, kings, patriarchs, and emissaries from countless races streamed down from the atmosphere one after another.

A gentle knock soon sounded against the heavy double doors of Victor’s private chamber.

"Victor, are you ready? It’s almost time for the ceremony to begin," Cristofer’s deep and steady voice echoed from the corridor outside.

Victor rose from his position and casually waved his hand. The simple robes he had been wearing dissolved into countless particles of energy before being replaced by a perfectly tailored dark wedding suit. Subtle golden and purple trims adorned the edges, giving the otherwise elegant outfit a restrained yet imposing appearance.

He walked toward the entrance and pushed open the heavy doors. ℴℴ𝘮

Cristofer, who had been waiting outside, immediately froze. His eyes widened slightly as he sensed the extraordinary vitality radiating from Victor’s body. Although Victor had deliberately restrained his aura, someone at Cristofer’s level could still clearly perceive the fundamental transformation that had taken place within his disciple.

"You have reached the eighth level of the Eternal Body already?"

"Yeah. I just broke through a moment ago," Victor replied with a calm smile. "Actually, I have something important to ask you about the ninth stage, Master."

He paused briefly before glancing toward the corridor.

"But that can wait. Let’s go. Everyone should already be waiting downstairs."
