After all my landlady duties were completed, I spent one more night with my ever energetic husband before leaving early the next day to spend time during the next days in Tadhana. My other husbands and children are there as a separate sanctuary I made for them within the world tree realm.

To be fair, I made sure to spend one night with each of them whether we already have kids or they are currently pregnant. I did not plan to touch the pregnant ones, just cuddling would suffice but I guess they aren’t planning on letting me leave without that level of intimacy so the next days were another series of stamina-demanding activities lasting a total of 10 days to give each husband their time alone with me.

On my last day in Tadhana, the husbands and the children alike are all sad as they said that I barely spend time with them. I could only smile helplessly as I brought it upon myself to take in several husbands one after the other. Even if the others were technically arranged marriages as we all have our reasons to be together, I try to give each of them some of my time and whatever I give to the other husbands, the others will receive their share as well.

I had to quickly leave before their tears start flowing, enough to form a river in the sanctuary. I teleported back to the plaza in the gardens then started walking to the palace instead of teleporting. I wanted to enjoy this rare and short moment of being alone and admiring the colorful flowers. and breathe in fresh air. I purposely walked slowly to calm down and recharge my whole being as I was quite emotionally and physically strained for the last few weeks in the world tree realm.

Just when I was only several meters from the main palace entrance, I flinched in surprise as the huge double doors swung wide open with a loud creak then thud. Out came a bunch of cute babies that look just like their own fathers with a dash of me.

Surprisingly, Iosef and Ianthe already looked like children of about 2 years of age, both running briskly towards me. Khalil and Kara were floating towards me like cute and chubby balloons, a little slower than the first two that were running, of course. On the other hand, with a pop, three babies appeared by my the palace patio then with anther pop, they appeared by my feet. It was Yelena, Yasha and Yuriy.

As expected, out came running after were their respective fathers. They must have felt my presence but they never thought that the babies would react even faster. After realizing that their children escaped from their rooms or in the case of the triplets, they just disappeared from where they were, they must have finally made their move.

Ioannis, Kayden and Dimitri, though looking haggard from running after the babies gave me a smile in greeting. They walked towards me in big strides, each giving me a quick peck on the lips then afterwards grabbing their respective babies into their arms.

We all walked happily towards the inside the palace, my three husbands smiling but holding on to the children tightly lest they float, run or teleport again. In the living room, my parents are already seated, seemingly expecting my return today. The children started whining for me as I haven’t carried any of them since their fathers quickly scooped them up earlier before they even got into my arms.

As I have made it a habit to have meals together with everyone, my three husbands and my father hurriedly went to the kitchen to cook, leaving me and my mother to care for my seven children and also to keep them busy (a.k.a as playtime). It was a good thing that these babies are smarter and more mature than their age so they don’t make too much of a ruckus.

The center of the living room have now been resigned and converted to a huge playpen filled with cushions and different kinds of toys, baby books, baby-safe writing tools and paper. All my babies are inside the playpen, doing whatever they thought was fun for them at the moment. I was only watching at first, sitting next to my mother on the couch but eventually, I was pulled in with the repeated requests of the babies for me to play with them inside the playpen.

As for my mother, she started giving me updates on the daily affairs in the palace. There were still no news from the four deities that left earlier for the human realm to gather their own people. As for her other requests, she said that it was about time to hire some palace workers including guards, butlers/governesses, nannies, gardeners, cooks and even tutors since the children are growing up so fast. Soon, there would even be more babies since Lark should be due in a few months too.

I totally understood where she’s coming from. No matter how much my parents enjoyed that the palace is now lively with all the grandchildren, there is only so much time and energy one can have to manage everything they needed to do plus the children’s affairs.

I asked for any suggestions that she may have and the first thing she said was to find elders from the mystique races as tutors. We can offer higher pay and also free lodging using the rooms in the left palace wing that no one uses to make it convenient for them to work. As for palace workers, there should be applications for willing individuals which includes testing their skills and character as well if we can make some announcements.

I don’t see anything wrong with my mother’s chosen arrangements so I readily agreed with while being wrestled down by my babies on to the cushions. My mother laughed at how we looked all silly while playing while also offering to take care of the hiring process and all the work that comes after that. She said that she would ask for Laerad’s help first to make the hiring announcements.

Just as we finished the conversation, we were called in to the dining area for the meal. As the kids heard "food" they all became alert and with their own preferred methods, went to the dining hall without being carried, giving their fathers another thing to worry about. I ended up being scolded as I let the children do whatever they wanted without reprimanding them.
