Interdimensional Pornstar System

Chapter 113: More than enough time!

"Alright, this is great! I will make sure to become the Genghis Khan of this world and let my influence be shown within the DNA of kids born here!"

Kyle burst into laughter, grinning like a complete maniac as he imagined his glorious future.

He had no idea whether the people of this world even understood the concept of genetics, but that wasn’t going to stop him from dreaming big. If he managed to establish himself as a powerful figure in this world, there would undoubtedly be countless opportunities waiting for him.

And naturally, he intended to take full advantage of them.

"I guess the amount of changes that can be made and the influence I can have on the people of this world can be considered influence in this world."

Kyle rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

The System had mentioned that he needed to accumulate genuine influence according to the world’s circumstances. However, that still left plenty of room for interpretation.

If influence meant changing people’s lives, shaping their beliefs, or altering the course of history, then there were countless ways to achieve it.

For instance, he could introduce modern technology to this backward world.

"If anything I do can be counted as influence, then why don’t I just bring electricity into this world and become the Nikola Tesla of this world?"

His eyes lit up as the idea occurred to him.

Electricity alone could revolutionize the lives of ordinary people. Imagine introducing electric lighting, modern appliances, and eventually even machinery to a world that still relied on traditional methods of living.

He could establish himself as a legendary inventor, gain the admiration of countless people, and perhaps even become someone whose name would be remembered for generations.

And if the System rewarded him for that influence, the benefits would be even greater.

It was practically a perfect plan!

[Exactly. You can gain influence in this world through various means. Introducing technology from your original world and applying it here, such as providing electricity, can certainly generate influence.]

Kyle’s grin widened.

[However, the influence you gain must be genuine and evaluated according to the circumstances and developmental level of this world. Merely introducing technology that produces an overwhelming but superficial impact will not allow you to exploit the Influence system. The resulting influence must be meaningful within the world’s context.]

Kyle’s expression froze.

For a moment, he simply stared at the System’s notification, as though he were trying to find some hidden loophole in its explanation.

Then his shoulders slumped.

The System had crushed his brilliant plan before he could even begin implementing it.

He had already imagined himself becoming the greatest inventor in history, introducing electricity to the masses, receiving the adoration of countless people, and watching his System Points skyrocket.

Unfortunately, reality had decided to be a bitch.

"C’mon, man! Why do you have to be such a cheapskate? Just let me have the points!"

Kyle let out a deeply disappointed sigh.

His dreams of becoming a millionaire overnight had been mercilessly shattered. He had hoped to exploit the Influence system by introducing technology from Earth, turning himself into a technological pioneer without having to deal with the complicated business of becoming genuinely influential.

But apparently, the System wasn’t going to let him get away with something so convenient.

[Host, your disappointment has been noted.]

"Don’t give me that bullshit!"

Kyle clicked his tongue.

The System didn’t bother responding to his complaint.

After spending so much time with Kyle, it had grown accustomed to this particular routine. Whenever something failed to meet his expectations, he would complain, grumble, and occasionally attempt to negotiate with the System as though it were a shopkeeper who could be persuaded to offer a discount.

It had become a predictable part of their daily interactions.

Kyle would devise a plan.

The System would explain why it wouldn’t work.

Kyle would complain.

And the System would patiently endure his nonsense.

Such was their relationship.

"Whatever. I’ll figure something out eventually."

Kyle waved his hand dismissively, though his expression suggested that he was still rather unhappy about losing his imagined fortune.

There had to be other ways to accumulate influence. He simply needed to explore the world, understand its power structure, and discover what kinds of actions would genuinely affect its inhabitants.

Perhaps killing dangerous magical beasts, helping ordinary people, establishing connections with powerful individuals, or interfering in significant events could all contribute to his progress.

He would have to experiment.

But first, he needed to understand how much time he actually had left.

"A whole day must have already passed by now. Show me the countdown, System."

Kyle shifted his attention toward the translucent screen.

He had been through a great deal since arriving in this world. Between struggling to breathe, wandering through the forest, fighting the Bloodfang Wolf, and nearly bleeding to death, he felt as though he had spent an entire lifetime here.

He needed to check the remaining time and plan his next moves accordingly.

After all, he had several objectives to accomplish.

First, he needed to recover from his injuries. Then he would have to investigate the world, find opportunities to increase his influence, and, naturally, become better acquainted with Xi Yue.

He wasn’t going to forget about the beautiful young woman who had rescued him.

If possible, he also wanted to establish some kind of production or business in this world. With the System’s marketplace and the possibility of exchanging local treasures for System Points, there was plenty of potential for making money.

The more time he could secure, the more opportunities he would have to accomplish everything.

A notification appeared before his eyes.

[Remaining Time: 29 Days, 15 Hours, 30 Minutes, 30 Seconds]

Kyle blinked.

"What the hell? I swear to God, a whole day has passed since I arrived in this world! How the hell have only eight hours passed on the countdown?"

He stared at the timer, genuinely bewildered.

He could have sworn he had spent far longer than eight hours wandering through the forest and fighting for his life. The thought that so little time had elapsed seemed almost ridiculous.

For a few moments, Kyle simply stared at the screen, trying to make sense of the discrepancy.

Then a possibility occurred to him.

"Is there a difference in the passage of time compared to Earth? Because that’s the only way I can explain it."

[Correct. The flow of time in this world differs from that of your original world.]

The System promptly displayed an explanation.

[Time Ratio: 1:3]

[One day on Earth is equivalent to three days in this world.]

[Consequently, the host has approximately three months of local time available before the original thirty-day duration expires, assuming no additional time is obtained through Influence rewards.]

[Lucky bastard you are] the System added.

Kyle stared at the notification.

Then, slowly, a grin spread across his face.

"Oh boy! Ninety days? You have got to be kidding me!"

He burst into laughter, the sound filling the small wooden room.

Three months!

He had been worrying about the thirty-day limit, wondering whether he would have enough time to explore the world and accomplish anything meaningful before being forced to return to Earth.

Now, he had three times as much time as he had initially expected.

And that was before he even began accumulating influence.

If he managed to reach the first tier, he could extend his stay even further. Higher tiers would grant him additional months or even years of time, along with increasingly ridiculous rewards.

The possibilities were practically endless.

"I’m really going to be Genghis Khan of this world!"

Kyle laughed again, his imagination already running wild with all the things he could accomplish.

Of course, he still had a great deal to learn. He didn’t know the world’s political structure, the true extent of its martial arts, or whether powerful sects and influential families would pose obstacles to his ambitions.

But those were problems for the future.

For now, he had time, a System, and a world full of opportunities.

And that was more than enough to make him excited.

...

Creak... creak...

The aged wooden door slowly swung open with a faint, creaking sound, breaking the silence of the room.

"Who’s is it now? I was just about to head to bed and rest now."

Kyle turned his head towards the door with letting out an annoyed noise.
