Back on the airship, Yilan asked Bree, sounding a bit annoyed.

"Bree, why did you pull me away so fast? I wanted to look at Vincent a little longer."

Vincent’s outfit today looked so good.

"Rory was right next to Vincent. If you keep staring at him like that, Rory is going to get upset," Bree reminded her. "I know you like Vincent, but don’t forget our plan. No matter how much you like him, you need to hold it in today. Otherwise, if Rory notices something is off, it’s going to ruin everything."

Properly checked, Yilan gave a disgruntled "Oh."

She would just wait two more days. When the Females Festival arrived, she would definitely find a chance to plant the thing Bree gave her onto Vincent.

Meanwhile, on the airship.

The moment Rory stepped on board, Aren handed her a cup of warm milk tea.

"I tried a new blend today. Taste it, Female Master, and see if you like it."

Rory took it and took a sip. "It tastes like jasmine."

"Is that what it’s called? Jasmine?" Aren retrieved a small white flower from his spatial ring and placed it in Rory’s palm. "What a beautiful name. I really liked their scent, so I picked a few earlier to brew tea with."

"When I was making the milk tea today, I thought you might like the aroma, so I added some."

While this exotic plant wasn’t common in the forest, it could still be found if one looked. Aren simply loved its scent, so he made sure to gather some whenever he came across it.

"I love it." Rory took another sip of the milk tea and held the cup up to Aren’s lips. "It tastes amazing. Have a sip too."

Watching from beside Vangar, Nix pursed his lips in envy.

"I used to think Yuel knew exactly what he was doing. Now I think Aren is even better."

Yuel’s charm was a blatant, overt seduction of his Female Master. Aren’s charm, on the other hand, was his ability to capture someone’s complete attention through the smallest, everyday gestures.

Vangar was green with envy too. As expected, the Incubus tribe really knew exactly how to wrap a female around their finger.

Taking a deep breath, Vangar stepped up to Rory, leaning down to speak in a soft, gentle voice.

"I’ve already notified Dax to meet us at the entrance. Is there anything you want? I can have him prepare it in advance."

"Nothing in particular." Rory didn’t lack anything right now, and she wasn’t much of a shopper to begin with. "Let’s just browse around first. If I see something I like, I’ll buy it."

"Alright," Vangar nodded with a smile.

Outside the entrance of Starlight Prime Tech.

Dax had received Vangar’s message yesterday. Knowing Rory was coming today, he had been waiting in eager anticipation since early morning.

"Lord Dax, you’ve been standing at the entrance for an hour now. Would you like to step inside and rest for a bit?" his assistant advised quietly, looking at Dax standing there like a loyal husband waiting for his wife’s return.

"No need." Dax shook his head. "She rarely visits. I want her to see me the moment she steps off the airship."

Hearing this, the assistant didn’t push any further. He truly hadn’t expected their Lord—such a shrewd beastman—to turn out like this after falling in love.

He had essentially offered himself up to Marshal Vangar for free, not asking for a single dime. This was a man who used to love money above all else, wishing he could line his pockets with every credit in the Empire.

And yet now... he was perfectly willing to hand over all his assets and work for Marshal Vangar for absolutely nothing.

The low rumble of the airship’s engines echoed through the air. Dax looked up into the sky, his eyes instantly lighting up as a sleek, pitch-black airship drifted into view.

It was as if a traveler, wandering the desert for days, had finally spotted an oasis. Or as if a burst of starlight had shattered the night, pooling all its brilliance directly into his gaze.

"She’s here!"

Dax quickly smoothed his already immaculate clothes and hurried outside. The corners of his lips curved upward uncontrollably. Even if he only got to look at Rory, and even though he knew there was no longer a chance for them, just seeing her was enough to fill him with a rush of joy.

Moments later, the airship touched down smoothly on the landing pad. To Dax, the click of the hatch opening sounded like the most beautiful music in the world.

Rory’s figure soon appeared at the doorway. Watching her walk down, Dax nervously clenched his fists.

"Welcome to Starlight Prime Tech!"

Female Master! He only dared to voice the title in his heart.

"Thank you for having us today," Rory said politely.

The subtle distance in her tone shot a pang of pain straight through Dax’s chest. Even though he had braced himself, facing her cold, detached courtesy still hurt more than he expected. But Dax masked it perfectly, keeping his composure before anyone could notice.

Seconds later, Bree’s airship landed right beside Rory’s. Bree stepped down alongside Yilan and her own mates, walking over to Rory with a bright smile.

"Rory, your airship really lives up to its reputation as the best in the Empire. Mine took off first, yet you still beat me here. I noticed you even slowed down to wait for us halfway through."

Without waiting for Rory to reply, Bree turned her attention to Dax. "Lord Dax, we meet again."

A flash of disgust crossed Dax’s eyes at the sight of Bree. But since she was here as Rory’s acquaintance today, he had to keep up appearances. He offered Bree a polite smile. "Welcome to Starlight Prime Tech."

Yilan chimed in, looking at Dax. "Lord Dax, I’m planning to buy your latest airship model today. You absolutely have to give me a good discount." She smiled and looped her arm through Rory’s. "After all, if you don’t satisfy me, my sister-in-law won’t be happy."

After they returned yesterday, Bree had told her that this Dax used to be matched to Rory. For some reason, Rory had broken off the match, but word was that Dax was still head over heels for her. Males always loved to show off in front of the females they liked. Yilan figured that as long as she used Rory to leverage Dax, she would walk away with a massive bargain today.

Hearing her words, the smile in Dax’s eyes deepened. "Of course. We serve every guest at Starlight Prime Tech with our whole heart."

Standing to the side, the assistant silently lowered his head. Whenever their Lord used that specific line, it meant he was about to completely empty the client’s wallet. This female, Yilan, didn’t seem particularly bright. Marshal Vangar had already sent a message last night warning them that Bree and Yilan weren’t actually close to Rory, telling Dax he didn’t need to show them any special favor.

Dax stole another glance at Rory and smiled. "Follow me."

The group walked together into the main building of Starlight Prime Tech. The entire interior was constructed using spatial stones, making the inside feel as vast as a miniature planet.

Rory looked at Yilan beside her and offered, "Didn’t you want to buy an airship, Yilan? Let’s check those out first."

Yilan beamed at Rory. "Sister-in-law, I knew you cared about me the most!"

Hearing her call Rory "sister-in-law," Aren desperately wanted to throw Yilan out. He absolutely loathed his sister for using his Female Master like this. Once Rory fully uncovered Bree’s background, he would make sure Yilan never bothered her again.
