Cain smiled faintly, as he kind of felt that he might have met with someone who could be his rival.

The thought amused him more than he expected.

Cain raised his hand.

He was about to order everyone to enter the battlefield when a powerful voice came from the military plaza.

"Don’t interfere with my fight!"

Heavenly Demon had kicked one of the commanders away.

Black Qi curled around his body as he briefly glanced toward the ridge where Cain’s group stood.

His voice carried easily across the battlefield.

"These three are part of my Advancement Mission!"

Cain raised an eyebrow as he found it interesting that the Heavenly Demon’s mission was to kill three 3rd Echelon beings by himself.

Cain lowered his hand.

Before he could speak, another shout came from farther away.

"Same here!"

Northern Tyrant caught the shaft of the war hammer with both hands.

His muscles tightened as he forced it away from his body.

He looked toward Cain’s side for only a moment.

"This bastard is mine!"

The commander tried to pull his weapon free, but the Northern Tyrant headbutted him.

BANG!

The commander’s head jerked backward.

Cain looked across the rest of the town and chuckled.

"Fine."

His raised hand pointed toward the battlefield below.

"Leave the four 3rd Echelons alone."

Ron tightened his grip around his spear.

"Focus on the 2nd Echelons and help the northern group clear everything else."

Aurelia unsheathed her sword, her Light Mana spread across the blade.

Her people prepared behind her.

Cain looked toward Elara.

"Go."

Cain glanced toward Aurelia next, but before he could say anything, she had already begun walking forward.

"I know."

The combined force rushed down the ridge.

Ron disappeared ahead of everyone else.

Lightning burst around his body as he charged down the damaged road and headed straight toward one of the nearby groups of Zombie Race soldiers.

Nathan remained farther back.

Wind gathered around the arrow resting against his bowstring while his eyes searched the battlefield for dangerous targets.

Aurelia’s force moved with them.

The humans already fighting inside the Northern Anchor Town quickly noticed the arrival of reinforcements.

The Zombie Race soldiers nearest the ridge had already changed direction and were rushing toward them.

Cain remained behind for another moment, then his gaze returned toward Heavenly Demon.

"I’ll watch you properly later."

Just as he stepped forward, Cain’s expression changed as he heard the notification from the system and a translucent panel appeared directly before his eyes.
