Chapter 44: Reward

"Like this..." Enzo told Miya everything, every detail without leaving anything out or exaggerating anything.

"Do you think it’s possible that the mastermind is the CIA?" he asked afterward.

"I don’t know," Miya replied. "But it might not be the CIA, because the CIA wouldn’t cause chaos like that."

"Not them?" Enzo was confused by why Miya thought differently.

"America is complicated, and the biggest problem is the sheer number of intelligent people in this country." Miya chuckled, only confusing Enzo further.

"The CIA has an enormous intelligence network. They practically have eyes on every event. Ever since you stopped the first explosion, they must have become curious about who was responsible. Every Spiritual Warrior at the scene would practically become a suspect. In the end, because you completed the Light Sphere Challenge so easily, it shows that you possess a certain ability.

"Just do whatever you can for now," Miya replied indifferently before ending the call.

Enzo smiled wryly at her response.

Miya casually tossed her phone onto the sofa.

"Why don’t you hug me first? Are you afraid again now?" she said.

Enzo didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when he heard that.

But since she had asked, he wrapped both arms around her waist.

Miya returned the embrace, resting her beautiful face against his.

Enzo couldn’t stand simply staying like this. He held the back of her head and kissed her lips passionately.

That still wasn’t enough. He gently cupped her breast.

His lips moved down to her long neck, kissing and sucking on it.

"Ohhh..." Miya moaned softly.

Enzo could feel her excitement.

Her hands ruffled his white hair.

Enzo only became more aggressive, wanting to make her lose herself even further.

When he looked at Miya’s face again, he found her expression seemingly intoxicated.

Yet she could still smile.

"By the way, where are those stuffed animals?" she asked.

Hearing her mention them, Enzo reluctantly stopped.

Apparently, he hadn’t been aggressive enough to make Miya completely lose herself.

"Here they are..." Enzo waved his hand. The stuffed animals emerged from his ring, surrounding the sofa because of their enormous size.

There were bears, elephants, lions, gorillas, and more, each of them larger than the two of them.
