Elias stared at the two new screens for several seconds and dismissed them. The information was certainly useful, but there was something far more important occupying his attention at the moment.

He turned his gaze toward Monica, who was still resting comfortably against his chest.

"How do you feel?" he asked.

Monica remained silent for a few seconds, seemingly searching for the right words, before she finally shook her head.

"I do not know..." she admitted.

"Hmm? What do you mean?" Elias questioned, his expression becoming slightly curious.

Monica frowned as she tried to explain herself. "I mean... it is not that I do not know. It is that I do not understand it."

Elias studied her expression before asking gently, "Then tell me what is on your mind."

Monica remained quiet for a long while, and the warmth of the bath slowly filled the silence between them. Eventually, she nodded and began speaking.

"When I was first poisoned, the elders and I worked together to create the two pills that can help others approach me and restrain the poison whenever I suffer a seizure."

Her expression gradually became heavier as she continued.

"But they were not a cure. A few months later, I was moved to one of the Mage Tower’s hidden quarters, where I had a maid take care of me, and except for her, no one came to meet me."

A bitter chuckle escaped her lips.

"That period gave me plenty of time to go through everything I had learned about magic."

Elias tilted his head.

"How many times did you go through it?" he asked curiously.

He already knew about Monica’s S-rank talent, which gave her extraordinary comprehension, so he had assumed she must have reviewed everything at least seven or nine times.

Her expression became thoughtful as she tried to remember.

"One..."

Elias’s brows furrowed.

’Only once?’

Then Monica suddenly continued.

"One hundred... twenty-six... Yeah, one hundred and twenty-six times."

His eyes widened.

’One hundred and twenty-six times?! How the hell did she manage that?’

He stared at her in complete disbelief, while Monica merely shrugged it away as though she had mentioned something completely ordinary.

"Anyway," she said, brushing the matter aside as she returned to what she had been discussing. "Since then, I felt like no one cared about me, and slowly, the poison became what it is now..."

Her voice fell into a whisper.

Then she raised her eyes toward Elias, and a faint smile appeared on her face.

"And to make things worse, I was then married to you, a duke’s bastard..."

Elias’s expression darkened slightly at those words, but he remained silent and allowed her to continue.

"At first, I was scared that you might do something," Monica admitted, her voice quieter than before. "But you never did. Instead, you simply kept caring for me and called it your responsibility."

He listened calmly, his arms still holding her.

"I do not know what to say because you are too weird for me to understand."

A small smile appeared on his face.

"Do not worry about that," he said. "I am sure we will understand each other more in the coming days."

Monica smiled as well and nodded, but then a mischievous expression slowly appeared across her face.

Her gaze lowered toward her thighs, and she noticed the rather obvious problem beneath the water.

"Can you stop rubbing it between my thighs?" she asked with a chuckle. "It feels a bit awkward~ you know?"

His expression hardened for a moment before he took a slow breath.

"I am not stopping," he said, a faint blush appearing across his face.

She raised an eyebrow.

"Why?" she asked. "Cannot wait until the poison is cured?"

"I can," Elias answered.

"Then why?" she pressed, her eyes filling with amusement.

She clearly expected another playful answer, but she was not prepared for what came next.

Elias slowly moved his hand from her abdomen toward her upper body, and Monica’s amused expression gradually disappeared.

"Because I do not want you this way," he whispered. "I want you to wrap your arms around me..."

Her face immediately became red as the words formed an image in her mind.

"I want you to lock your legs around my waist, and I want you to feel every single moment of it..."

His hand stopped before reaching her chest, and his entire face had turned crimson.

Her eyes trembled as she stared at his hand, her own cheeks burning.

"S-Shut up, shameless man. Hmph..." she muttered before closing her eyes.

Elias chuckled before he leaned his head against the edge of the tub, trying to maintain the same shameless expression despite the embarrassment spreading across his face.

’It is hard to act so bold...’

A faint smile appeared on his lips.

’It is fun, though.’

He remained there for a moment, enjoying the strange atmosphere between them before he began to hum a faint tune.

The blue-haired woman listened to it, and a smile appeared on her face before she said, "My master was right when she told me not to get close to men."

"Hmm?"

"They are so brazen that they hum a soft tune while rubbing their dick in a woman’s thighs..."

"I can stop if you want to," he said, narrowing his eyes at the clear attempt to make him feel embarrassed.

"You are no fun," she said with a frown, and she too began to hum with him.

Their humming filled the bathroom while the warmth cuddled them.

A few minutes passed, and Monica closed her eyes, her breathing returning to its usual faintness.

Once she fell asleep, he too calmed down, and a few seconds later he stepped out of the tub while holding her in his arms.

He dried himself and her and put his clothes back on using the inventory while wrapping her in the towel and walking out of the bath.

’I should consult Natasha about it...’ he remarked inwardly as he laid Monica in her bed and left the room after a few minutes, walking toward his own.
