Is Your Armor Legal
Chapter 56 Kanglong, Hidden Danger
Chapter 56: Chapter 56: Kanglong, Hidden Danger
"Soaring Dragon Sky-Piercing!"
Feng Yin’s eyes lit up.
It truly was an unstoppable offensive strike.
Earlier, facing his master’s terrifying charging Momentum, the thought of using Manifestation Armor to protect himself had even crossed his mind.
However, Feng Yin was highly perceptive. Through their interactions over the past few days, even though he didn’t know the exact depths of his master’s strength, he could be certain of one fact: Xie Jingyuan was far stronger than him.
Even excluding the gaps in Martial Arts experience, the See Through ability, and that even more profound Momentum, and only comparing pure physical strength and Speed, Xie Jingyuan’s capabilities were likely not much inferior to his own state when using Manifestation Armor.
If an expert of this caliber wanted to kill him, whether he used Manifestation Armor or not, the outcome would be the same.
At this moment, Xiao Yu suddenly jumped up from behind, shouting as she rushed over. "Master! That move is amazing! I want to learn this one!"
Xie Jingyuan sheathed the Wooden Sword at his waist and smiled, patting Xiao Yu’s head. "You think everything you see is amazing and want to learn it all. Don’t you understand that it’s better to master one move than to know a thousand?"
Xiao Yu’s eyes curved into happy crescents. "Oh, Master, don’t lecture me. Even if I only master one, I choose this Soaring Dragon Sky-Piercing. This will be my signature move!"
Xie Jingyuan shook his head helplessly. "A year ago, you also said Dragon Transformation was your signature move..."
"It’s different. Completely different," Xiao Yu argued playfully with a giggle.
Feng Yin took a deep breath. "Master, what is the key to this move?"
Hearing his disciple’s question, Xie Jingyuan ignored Xiao Yu’s nonsense, his expression turning serious.
"Just like Azure Dragon Shocking Horn, it relies on a unique method of force generation that can only be executed in the Dragon Transformation State. It combines a high-speed dash and a Swift Stab in perfect synchronization."
He glanced at their surroundings and patted Feng Yin and Xiao Yu on the shoulders. "It’s not private enough here. I’ll teach you the core principles when we get back to the room."
Feng Yin and Xiao Yu obediently followed their master back down to the suite.
...
...
Two days later, at dusk.
Amidst the sound of a rapidly beating heart, Xiao Yu’s facial veins bulged, her skin flushed slightly red, and two spots of dark crimson light glowed deep within her pupils. She was clearly in the Dragon Transformation State.
She assumed the Forehead Level Stance. After brewing her energy for a brief moment, she stepped forward and lunged instantly!
Her figure was as fast as a fierce gale, and the Wooden Sword in her hand followed with a Swift Stab.
Soaring Dragon Sky-Piercing!
SWISH!
Feng Yin watched as Xiao Yu crossed several meters in an instant, thrusting viciously toward his throat.
He immediately tilted his neck, dodging the attack on the spot.
The Wooden Sword stopped just millimeters away from the side of his neck. Xiao Yu also froze in place.
"Ah!" She looked displeased. "First Junior Brother, why did you dodge? Don’t you trust me?"
Feng Yin shot her a sidelong glance. "Look for yourself. If you want to kill me, just say so."
This Senior Sister actually thought she was at their master’s level and expected him to willingly act as a target for a Secret Sword Form.
Hearing this, Xiao Yu glanced at the Wooden Sword. It was almost pressing against Feng Yin’s skin. And this was the result even after he had dodged.
Her face flushed red. She awkwardly withdrew her sword and lowered her head. "I’m sorry..."
"It’s fine. I didn’t trust you to begin with," Feng Yin chuckled. Then, seeing Xiao Yu’s depressed expression, he changed the subject. "However, Xiao Yu, it seems you really are compatible with this move. You actually managed to maintain the Dragon Transformation State and execute it completely. You’ve learned this much better than Azure Dragon Shocking Horn."
The young girl’s sorrow instantly turned to joy. "Hehe, you have to call me Senior Sister, not Xiao Yu."
With this shift in emotion, her breathing rhythm was disrupted, and she immediately dropped out of the Dragon Transformation State.
Her complexion returned to its usual pale white, and the hair that had been bristling with energy settled back down over her shoulders.
Xiao Yu immediately tried to adjust her breathing, but despite concentrating for a long time, she couldn’t re-enter the Dragon Transformation State. Frustrated, she slapped Feng Yin’s arm.
"Hey! First Junior Brother, you made me lose my Dragon Transformation! I worked so hard to maintain it!"
Feng Yin shook his head gently. "Master said the Dragon Transformation State can’t be maintained for too long. Not to mention, you used a Secret Sword Form on top of it. You were bound to drop out of it anyway."
Xiao Yu lowered her head, muttering under her breath as she walked to the other side and stood firm. "Come on, it’s your turn."
"For what?" Feng Yin had no idea what this nonsensical Senior Sister was up to now.
Xiao Yu spread her arms and squeezed her eyes shut. "Come on! I stabbed at you just now, so now it’s your turn to stab me."
Feng Yin chuckled. "You’re certainly fair."
"Cut the crap, bring it on!" Xiao Yu acted fierce, looking like a martyr facing death.
Seeing Xiao Yu trembling with her eyes squeezed tightly shut, Feng Yin gave a silent smile. "Get ready, then. I’m coming."
Xiao Yu kept her eyes squeezed shut. When she heard Feng Yin go completely silent, she became so tense she didn’t dare to move a muscle.
"First... First Junior Brother... Feng Yin, are you—Ah!"
FLICK!
Her forehead was suddenly flicked. She leaped into the air in shock, clutching her forehead and screaming, "Ah! I’m dead!"
Then, realizing what had actually happened, Xiao Yu quickly opened her eyes. She caught sight of Feng Yin smiling as he lowered his hand.
"Oh, I see! Are you messing with me, Feng Yin?" Xiao Yu flew into a humiliated rage.
Feng Yin calmly turned and walked toward the platform’s stairs. "Alright, it’s getting dark, and we should head back. Master said you can’t leave his side at night."
Xiao Yu chased after him, fiercely pounding his back twice. "That’s for scaring me! That’s for scaring me! You’re so mean!"
They were just about to head down the stairs.
BOOM...
A faint explosion echoed from the distance.
Feng Yin and Xiao Yu quickly looked up toward the source of the sound. In the distance, a faint red glow permeated through Sin City.
"It looks like a fire..." Xiao Yu shielded her eyes with her hand, as if that would help her see further.
Feng Yin frowned and turned to gaze at the Death Madness Tower, located two kilometers away from the port. He could vaguely make out numerous uniformed guards armed with guns gathering together.
"It seems there’s a major incident inside Sin City..." he said softly.
A situation that warranted the Zero Point Group dispatching guards en masse to suppress it was likely a large-scale event involving over a thousand people.
After all, during his two previous attacks on the Ren Sheng Group, where he had slaughtered dozens of people each time, the subsequent rumors made no mention of the Zero Point Group sending anyone to investigate or resolve the matter. They had merely sent some people to collect the corpses.
"Let’s go down first. Something feels wrong," Feng Yin said quickly, grabbing Xiao Yu and running down the stairs.
Inside the suite, Xie Jingyuan, Xie Yanran, and Hong Yuan had already stepped out of their rooms, clearly having heard the distant explosion as well.
"Master!" Xiao Yu ran over to Xie Jingyuan with heavy footsteps, her face flushed with excitement. "Feng Yin and I saw it from upstairs! There’s a huge fire in Sin City. Something big is definitely happening."
Xie Jingyuan looked at Feng Yin. Compared to the unreliable Xiao Yu, he preferred to hear Feng Yin’s account.
Feng Yin spoke slowly, "I saw a lot of guards mobilizing from the Death Madness Tower. They should be heading out to suppress the situation..."
Beside them, Xie Yanran immediately frowned. "Ordinary riots in Sin City don’t get that kind of treatment."
Hong Yuan nodded. "Only a massive gang war involving over a thousand people would alarm the guards enough to mobilize and intervene."
Xie Jingyuan’s expression remained calm, but his tone was grave. "For this to happen right at this moment... I have a very bad feeling about this."
He glanced around at everyone and ordered sternly, "No one is to leave this room, and absolutely no one is to disembark the ship."
He pulled out his phone. "I’m calling Chen Jingzhong."
"Huh? Master, why are you calling my dad?" Xiao Yu asked.
Xie Jingyuan shook his head. "I’m asking him to communicate with the Zero Point Consortium to arrange another ship for us to leave the island. A wise man avoids unnecessary danger."
As he spoke, he dialed the number.
