Chapter 59 — The Awakening of Force and the Fall of Seema

Bek vs. Morry and Ravian

Bek stood in front of Morry and Ravian, his face hidden beneath his dark hood. He raised both hands, revealing countless sharp needles between his fingers. Each needle was coated with poison, and before either of his opponents could react, he launched a massive barrage toward them.

Hundreds of needles rushed through the air, aiming for every possible escape route. Ravian immediately activated his Force Manipulation and changed the direction of the incoming needles. They curved away from the two warriors and buried themselves in the surrounding ground. Using that opening, Morry charged forward, clenched his fist, and delivered a powerful punch directly to Bek’s face.

Bek flew backward, crashed through several damaged walls, and landed heavily on the ground. He slowly stood up, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth.

"Impressive," Bek muttered. "But let’s see how you survive this."

He took out another collection of needles and coated them with a strange substance. The moment the liquid touched the metal, the needles began releasing a faint, dangerous vapor.

"This is an acid capable of melting almost anything it touches," Bek explained. "Your bodies won’t be an exception."

He waved his hand.

Hundreds of acid-coated needles shot toward Morry and Ravian from different directions. The two warriors had barely recovered from their previous exchange, and this time, the attack was too sudden for them to prepare a proper defense.

Ravian spread his arms and released a powerful wave of Force Manipulation.

"FORCE EXPLOSION!"

The force affecting everything within his range suddenly collapsed. Loose stones, broken pieces of walls, and scattered debris dropped to the ground as their movement lost its driving force. The needles caught inside the affected area also lost their momentum and fell harmlessly onto the ground before reaching the two warriors.

But Bek had already prepared another wave.

More needles came flying from behind the first barrage, followed by another wave from above. The sheer number of projectiles made it impossible for Ravian to neutralize every single one in time.

Morry stepped forward.

"Ravian, get behind me!"

His skin hardened as Eternal Bond activated. The needles struck his hardened body, while the corrosive acid began eating away at the protective surface. Morry gritted his teeth as cracks slowly spread across his steel-like skin.

He endured the attack, refusing to let a single needle reach Ravian.

However, the acid continued working. His hardened skin began breaking apart, and his body became covered in injuries. Finally, his Eternal Bond could no longer maintain its protection.

Morry dropped to one knee.

Bek stopped launching needles and watched him carefully. Ravian immediately moved toward his friend, but Morry raised one trembling hand.

"Don’t worry about me," Morry said, forcing a smile despite his injuries. "I’ve done my part."

"Stop talking like that! We can still fight together!" Ravian shouted.

Morry shook his head and looked directly at him.

"Ravian, it’s your turn now. You can defeat him."

He collapsed onto the ground, exhausted and badly injured. His breathing was heavy, but his expression remained calm.

For a moment, Ravian couldn’t move.

He looked at Morry, remembering every battle they had survived together. Morry had always pushed himself beyond his limits to protect the people beside him. Even now, after taking an attack that could have killed them both, he was still trusting Ravian to finish the fight.

Something inside Ravian began to change.

His energy started increasing. The pressure around his body grew stronger, and the ground beneath his feet trembled as his power continued to rise.

Ravian looked down at his hands.

"So this is what I’ve been missing..."

He had spent so much time learning to control force, redirect attacks, and weaken the movement of objects. Yet he had always felt as though his ability had reached a limit he couldn’t overcome.

Now, standing beside his injured friend, he finally understood.

He didn’t need to abandon the power he had mastered. He needed to take it further.

"Morry," he whispered, "you just gave me the awakening I needed."

Ravian raised his head. His eyes were fixed on Bek.

"Now, let’s finish this."

Ravian’s New Power

Bek sensed the change immediately.

The energy surrounding Ravian was completely different from before. It wasn’t merely stronger; it felt concentrated and controlled, as though every movement he made could influence the entire battlefield.

Bek quickly prepared another set of needles.

"Whatever happened to you, it won’t save you!"

Ravian extended one hand.

"FORCE AMPLIFIER!"

The force behind Ravian’s attacks increased drastically. The air around him became heavy, and cracks spread across the ground beneath his feet. He could feel the difference in every movement, as if the power he had been struggling to reach was finally within his grasp.

But he wasn’t finished.

"FORCE BARRIER!"

A transparent field of energy formed around him, surrounding his body in a protective sphere. Inside the barrier, Ravian could manipulate the force of incoming attacks, reducing their impact before they could harm him.

Bek narrowed his eyes and launched another attack.

"NEEDLE RAIN!"

An enormous number of needles descended from above, covering Ravian’s entire position. The projectiles struck the barrier from every direction, but their force was neutralized before they could penetrate it.

Ravian walked forward through the rain of needles as if nothing were happening.

The projectiles fell around him, unable to break through his defense.

He looked at Bek and gave a confident smile.

"Now I feel powerful. I was stuck at the same level for too long. I needed an awakening, and Morry gave me the reason to find it."

Bek stepped backward.

"Impossible..."

Ravian suddenly disappeared from his position and appeared directly in front of him. Before Bek could release another needle, Ravian grabbed him by the front of his clothing.

"Let’s see how you handle your own close-range fight."

Ravian delivered a powerful punch to Bek’s face.

The impact sent Bek stumbling backward, but Ravian didn’t release his grip. He pulled him forward and struck him again. With every punch, Ravian increased the force behind his attacks, making each successive blow more powerful than the last.

Bek tried to defend himself, but he couldn’t find an opening. His needles were useless at this distance, and every attempt to escape was countered by Ravian’s control over force.

Blood covered Bek’s face as he struggled to remain standing.

Even then, he smiled beneath his hood.

"Kill me before my master kills you," Bek said weakly. "You have no idea what he’s capable of."

Ravian’s expression hardened.

"Then he can come and find out."

He pulled Bek closer and delivered a devastating headbutt.

The force behind the impact was so immense that the ground beneath them shattered, forming a small crater. Bek fell into it and remained motionless, completely unconscious.

The battlefield fell silent.

Bek, Juyew’s second assistant, had been defeated.

Ravian slowly turned toward Morry and rushed to his side. His new power was still surging through his body, but his first concern was his injured friend.

"Morry, stay with me. We’ve won."

Morry opened his eyes slightly and managed a faint smile.

"Knew... you could do it."

Ravian knelt beside him, relieved that his friend was still conscious.

For the first time, Ravian had broken through the limit that had held him back for so long.

But their victory had come at a cost, and the battle elsewhere was still far from over.

Seema vs. Juyew

On the other side of the battlefield, Juyew stood before Seema.

Kil Ful remained unconscious nearby, unable to intervene. Seema knew she had to defeat Juyew herself, but her body had already endured tremendous damage. Even so, she refused to lower her sword.

Juyew watched her with a cold expression.

"You’re still standing? Your endurance is impressive."

Seema smiled faintly.

"You’re talking too much."

She raised her sword.

"BLOSSOM!"

Ten rose-shaped flowers appeared around her. They burst apart into countless pellets, which then scattered into tiny destructive particles. The particles swept toward Juyew from every direction, cutting through the air and tearing into his clothing.

Juyew dodged several of them, but others struck his body, opening fresh wounds across his arms and legs.

He glanced at the injuries before looking back at Seema.

"You really are troublesome."

"That’s what happens when you underestimate me."

Seema rushed forward, her sword extending toward him like a living serpent. Juyew avoided the blade, but the destructive particles forced him to keep moving. She followed with a powerful strike that caught him across the side, leaving another wound.

For a brief moment, Seema appeared to have regained control of the battle.

Then Juyew’s expression changed.

"Enough."

He extended his hand.

"BLACK HOLE."

A massive black void appeared above the battlefield. The atmosphere changed instantly. Loose stones, broken structures, and clouds of dust were pulled toward the dark center. The surroundings became eerily silent as the overwhelming force began dragging everything toward it.

Seema planted her sword into the ground and held on, struggling to keep her balance. Her feet slid across the shattered earth as she fought against the pull.

Juyew advanced toward her.

"Let’s see how long you can endure this."

He raised his other hand.

"VOID CONTINUOUS SLAM!"

An immense pressure crashed down on Seema while the Black Hole continued pulling her in the opposite direction. Her body was now caught between two powerful forces, leaving her struggling to move.

Seema gritted her teeth.

"He’s attacking me from two sides... The Black Hole is pulling me in, while his ability is crushing me with pressure!"

She tried to push forward, but the combined force made every movement exhausting. Her arms trembled, and her injured body struggled to keep pace with the relentless assault.

Juyew watched her fight to remain standing.

"Your luck may have increased your strength, but it can’t save you from everything."

Seema refused to surrender.

She forced herself to lift her sword, preparing to release another Blossom attack. But before she could complete the movement, Juyew’s next technique activated.

"VOID ALPINE!"

Two enormous dark spikes erupted from the ground on either side of Seema. They moved with frightening speed, closing around her before she could escape.

The spikes caught her and lifted her off the ground.

"Got you," Juyew said.

With a violent motion, he hurled Seema toward the Black Hole.

She disappeared into the darkness.

Inside the void, the pressure became unbearable. Dark energy compressed around her, crushing her defenses and overwhelming her already exhausted body. She struggled to maintain consciousness, but the combined effects of her injuries and Juyew’s power were finally becoming too much.

Outside, Juyew watched the Black Hole for several seconds.

Then he closed his hand.

The Black Hole vanished.

The immense pressure disappeared, and the battlefield returned to silence. Dust drifted slowly through the air as Juyew lowered his arm.

Seema lay on the shattered ground in front of him, completely exhausted and unable to continue fighting.

Juyew approached her, looking down at the fallen warrior.

He laughed quietly.

"You’re strong, Seema. Stronger than I expected."

He paused, then continued with a cruel smile.

"But you’re not strong enough to defeat me."

He raised his hand one final time.

"VOID ABYSS."

Dark energy surged beneath Seema and slammed into her weakened body. She could no longer defend herself. Her eyes closed, and she lost consciousness completely.

Juyew stood over her, victorious.

Two powerful opponents had fallen before him, and Kil Ful remained unconscious.

Yet the battle was not finished—not while Gyro was still on his way.

Gyro’s Unexpected Companion

Meanwhile, inside the Kingdom of Aurelia, Gyro was preparing to leave.

He had spent enough time investigating the situation. Kil Ful and the others were facing Juyew, and Gyro knew that delaying any longer could lead to disastrous consequences.

He adjusted his grip on his walking stick and began moving toward the kingdom’s exit.

"That foolish boy," he muttered. "I specifically told him not to fight Juyew until I arrived. Knowing Kil Ful, he’s probably already ignored my order."

Just as Gyro reached the main road, someone called out to him.

"Hey, old man!"

Gyro stopped and turned around.

Aaru hurried toward him, looking slightly out of breath. She stopped in front of the old master and looked up at him with a determined expression.

"Can you tell me where Kil Ful is?"

Gyro studied her for a moment.

"Kil Ful? He’s currently on a mission."

Aaru’s expression immediately became serious.

"Can you take me to him?"

Gyro raised an eyebrow.

"You want to go with me?"

"Yes. I want to see him."

For a moment, Gyro said nothing. Then a small smile appeared on his face.

So, Kil Ful... you’ve found a girl who cares enough to come looking for you.

He tried to hide his amusement, though his eyes revealed that he was enjoying the situation far more than he should have.

"All right, girl. You can come with me."

Aaru’s face brightened.

"Really? Thank you!"

"But there’s one condition," Gyro added.

She looked at him curiously.

"We have to move quickly. No stopping, no unnecessary delays. The situation is dangerous, and we need to reach them as soon as possible."

Aaru nodded firmly.

"I understand."

Gyro turned toward the road leading out of Aurelia and tightened his grip on his stick.

"Then come on. Run faster! We have to reach them quickly!"

He began moving at incredible speed, leaving Aaru hurrying after him.

As they raced toward the distant battlefield, Gyro’s smile faded. He knew Kil Ful’s personality better than almost anyone. The boy’s anger over Kael’s death had not disappeared, and his desire for revenge could easily make him ignore every warning.

Hold on, Kil Ful, Gyro thought. I’m coming.

Behind him, Aaru continued running, determined to reach Kil Ful before it was too late.

And far away, in the abandoned village, Juyew stood among the ruins with two unconscious opponents at his feet.

The next encounter would decide whether Kil Ful’s team could survive long enough for Gyro to arrive.
