KIL FUL KING
Chapter 60: CHP 60 THE LAST ONE STANDING
Chapter 60 — The Last One Standing
Ravian’s Final Attack
The abandoned village had become a battlefield of destruction. Broken buildings surrounded a massive crater, the ground was covered in cracks, and the air was heavy with the energy released during the fight.
Juyew stood in the middle of the ruins.
Kil Ful was unconscious nearby. Seema lay defeated on the shattered ground, while Morry was badly injured after protecting Ravian from Bek’s acid-coated needles. Bek himself remained unconscious inside the small crater created by Ravian’s final attack.
Juyew slowly looked around at the defeated warriors.
"So many people have challenged me," he said coldly. "And every one of them has fallen."
Suddenly, he noticed someone approaching.
Ravian was walking toward him.
His clothes were torn, his body was covered in injuries, and his breathing was uneven. He had spent an enormous amount of energy defeating Bek, but he was still forcing himself to stand.
Juyew laughed.
"One more insect? How many times must I teach you people the difference between your strength and mine?"
Ravian didn’t answer.
He continued walking until he was close enough to attack. Then, with the last of his remaining energy, he clenched his fist and activated his newly awakened power.
"FORCE AMPLIFIER!"
The force surrounding his fist increased dramatically.
"TWENTY TIMES!"
Ravian stepped forward and landed a powerful punch directly on Juyew’s face.
The impact shook the entire battlefield.
Juyew’s eyes widened as the amplified force struck him. His body was launched backward, tearing through the remains of a ruined building before crashing into the ground beyond it.
For the first time in this battle, Juyew had been sent flying by an attack from someone other than Kil Ful.
Ravian stood still, breathing heavily. He had managed to land his strongest attack, but the energy required to amplify the force twenty times had nearly emptied his reserves.
Across the battlefield, Juyew slowly lifted his head.
Blood ran down his face. Several of his existing injuries had worsened, and his expression had changed completely.
His smile disappeared.
These people...
He pushed himself to his feet and stared at Ravian.
They’ve all become far more powerful than I expected. Kil Ful’s new attack injured me badly. Seema pushed me to my limits. And now Ravian has awakened a power capable of sending me flying.
His hands tightened into fists.
If I leave them alive, they’ll keep growing stronger. The next time we meet, they might actually be able to kill me.
Juyew’s eyes darkened.
"Then I have no reason to spare you anymore."
Ravian tried to raise his arms, but his body barely responded. His Force Barrier flickered around him, weakened by the enormous amount of energy he had already used.
Juyew raised one hand.
"VOID DESTRUCTION!"
Three miniature voids appeared around Ravian.
Ravian immediately tried to strengthen his barrier, but his energy was almost exhausted. The three dark spheres rushed toward him, their terrifying power threatening to overwhelm his defense.
His barrier managed to stop one.
The second struck the weakened field and forced its way through.
The third followed.
Two miniature voids penetrated Ravian’s defense and struck him before he could escape. His body was thrown across the battlefield, and he crashed onto the ground near Morry.
His Force Barrier vanished.
Ravian lay motionless.
The man who had defeated Bek and awakened a new level of power had finally fallen.
Juyew wiped the blood from his face.
"That was your last chance."
The Silence of Defeat
For several seconds, nothing moved.
The wind passed through the ruined village, carrying dust across the broken ground. There were no more attacks, no more challenges, and no one left standing to confront Juyew.
Then a faint movement came from Kil Ful.
His fingers twitched.
His eyes slowly opened as consciousness returned. His entire body ached, and the injuries caused by Void Destruction made even the smallest movement unbearable.
He tried to sit up.
Pain shot through his body, forcing him back down.
"What... happened?"
His vision was blurry, but as it gradually cleared, he began recognizing the figures scattered across the battlefield.
Seema was unconscious.
Morry was injured and unable to fight.
Bek lay defeated in his crater.
And Ravian...
Kil Ful’s eyes widened.
"Ravian?"
He tried to move toward his friend, but his body refused to obey. His arms trembled, and he could barely lift his head.
"No..."
He looked around desperately.
Everyone who had come with him had fallen.
Juyew was the only person still standing.
The realization struck Kil Ful harder than any attack. He had promised himself that he would defeat Juyew and avenge Kael, but now he couldn’t even protect the friends who had fought beside him.
Juyew noticed that Kil Ful was awake.
A cold smile slowly returned to his face.
"Oh? You’re finally awake, little boy."
He began walking toward Kil Ful, his footsteps echoing across the silent battlefield.
Kil Ful tried to get up again. His muscles tightened, but his injured body remained on the ground.
"Get away from them..." he muttered.
Juyew stopped beside him and looked down at the fallen warriors.
"Your friends fought well. I’ll give them that. They even managed to surprise me."
He turned back toward Kil Ful.
"But their strength wasn’t enough."
Kil Ful clenched his teeth.
Juyew crouched slightly, bringing his face closer to Kil Ful’s.
"Now, I’ll make sure you remember this moment. I’ll kill your friends in front of you, one by one, and you’ll be forced to watch because you can’t move."
Kil Ful’s eyes widened with rage.
"Juyew..."
His voice trembled, but not from fear alone. It was the sound of someone desperately trying to stand against an enemy who had taken everything from him.
"Don’t touch them!"
Juyew straightened up.
Kil Ful gathered every bit of strength he had left and shouted across the battlefield.
"I WILL KILL YOU, JUYEW!"
His voice echoed through the ruins.
Juyew stared at him for a moment, then laughed.
"With that broken body? You can’t even stand."
Kil Ful glared at him, refusing to look away.
Move...
He tried to force his arms to support his weight.
Come on! Move!
Nothing happened.
His body had reached its limit, but his determination remained.
Juyew turned away from him and began walking toward the other fallen warriors.
"Let’s begin with your friends."
Kil Ful’s eyes burned with helpless anger.
Far from the abandoned village, Gyro moved swiftly along a forest road with Aaru following behind him.
Despite his age, the old master maintained a steady pace. His walking stick struck the ground rhythmically as he calculated how much distance remained between them and the battlefield.
Aaru struggled to keep up.
"How much longer until we reach Kil Ful?" she asked.
Gyro glanced toward the horizon.
"At this speed? Approximately two hours."
"Two hours?" Aaru’s face filled with concern. "We can’t take that long!"
"I know," Gyro replied seriously. "That’s why we’re changing our approach."
He stopped and turned toward her.
"Come here, girl. Climb onto my shoulder. I’ll carry you, and at my full speed, we should reach them in five minutes."
Aaru hesitated for a moment before approaching him.
"Will we really get there that quickly?"
Gyro gave her a confident smile.
"If I say five minutes, then five minutes it is."
Just as Aaru was about to climb onto his shoulder, Gyro suddenly raised one hand.
"Wait."
His expression changed.
The forest became strangely quiet. Even the birds seemed to have disappeared from the nearby trees.
Gyro slowly turned his head toward a dense patch of forest beside the road.
"Come out."
Aaru froze.
Gyro’s voice remained calm, but the atmosphere around him had grown heavier.
"I know you’re there. You can stop hiding."
For a few seconds, there was no response.
Then a figure stepped out from between the trees.
He wore dark clothing and carried himself with an unsettling calm. His eyes moved from Gyro to Aaru before settling on the old master.
It was Veyron.
Juyew’s first assistant.
Gyro immediately recognized the symbol associated with the mysterious group behind Juyew’s plans.
Veyron gave a slight smile.
"So, you really were coming."
Gyro rested both hands on his walking stick.
"Let me guess. Juyew sent you here because he knew someone would come to save the others."
Veyron said nothing, but his silence confirmed enough.
He had anticipated that Gyro—or someone else powerful—would head toward the abandoned village. His purpose was to delay the rescue before it could reach Juyew.
Aaru looked anxiously between them.
"Who is he?"
"Someone who chose a very inconvenient place to stand," Gyro replied.
Veyron raised his hand slightly. The surrounding air began to tremble as his telekinetic energy spread through the forest.
"You’re not going anywhere, old man."
Gyro’s expression remained unchanged.
He took one small step forward, his stick resting against the ground.
Then he smiled.
"You think you can defeat me?"
Veyron’s eyes narrowed.
Gyro’s smile widened slightly.
"Fine. If you’re so eager to fight, I’ll teach you why you should never stand between me and my destination."
The two men stared at each other as their energies began to rise.
Behind Gyro, Aaru realized that their journey had taken an unexpected turn.
And back in the abandoned village, Kil Ful remained trapped on the ground while Juyew prepared to attack his fallen friends.
