King of Hundred Victories Saber
Chapter 1160 - 306: Poisonous Mist Shocks Heroes, Buddhist Light Reflects Sword to Dispel Demonic Smoke
"You really know how to name someone, giving your son such a powerful name!" Shi Feiyang’s lips curled into a gentle smile.
Princess Gugela buried her face into his chest, the silver bells in her hair lightly shaking to his heartbeat: "Do you know? The name Ba Qianqiu is because I thought of your ’Hundred Victories Saber Technique’ unrivaled across the land."
She raised her head, her eyes burning like a bonfire on the prairie, "I hope our son can become a hero like you, standing tall and strong." Ba Qianqiu seemed to understand his mother’s words, suddenly waving his little hand and blurted out a muddled "daddy," followed by a kiss on Shi Feiyang’s face, leaving his face all drooled over.
Seeing this, Princess Gugela broke into laughter: "Look at our Qianqiu, clever indeed, knowing how to please his dad."
Shi Feiyang gazed at his wife and child in his arms, feeling a warmth surging in his heart, dispelling the chill brought by battles.
He gently embraced Princess Gugela, then playfully pinched Ba Qianqiu’s little nose: "Come, let’s go home."
Shi Feiyang wrapped his arm around Princess Gugela’s slender waist, while Ba Qianqiu giggled and grasped onto his father’s blood-stained clothing, leaving tiny white marks on the dark outfit with his chubby fingers. Under the setting sun, the shadows of the three gradually retreated, casting long shadows on the snow.
This warm and touching tableau tells of a reunion and warmth after enduring hardships.
At Snow Wolf Castle, Shi Feiyang, Princess Gugela, and their son Ba Qianqiu enjoyed a few days of reunion.
That evening, the sound of hooves rumbled across the snowy prairie like distant thunder, as Prince Lilak of the Lindan Tribe galloped in on his chestnut horse, breaking the thin ice. The wolf-head scimitar at his waist dripping fresh blood. "The Great Khan is gravely ill, medicine has no effect!" Lilak rolled off his horse, half of the turquoise on his bronze wrist guard was shattered. "Today, he called the Prince Consort’s name thrice..."
Before these words finished, Princess Gugela staggered, holding onto Shi Feiyang’s arm, her body trembling slightly beneath the moon-white cloak.
Ba Qianqiu seemed to sense his mother’s unease, suddenly crying aloud, his cries startled a flock of cold crows in the vast snowy plains.
They promptly embarked on their horses, returning to the Lindan tribe’s capital.
Three days later, in the Golden Summit Tent of the Lindan tribe’s capital, the flames of the sheepskin candle stands flickered in the cross drafts.
Great Khan Dangxin’s emaciated hand gripped Shi Feiyang’s sleeve tightly, his murky tiger eyes suddenly brightened: "Good son-in-law... Is it true that you slew Prince Kerza and his father?" He coughed violently, blood oozing from his fingers staining the sable cloak red. "Lilak is overly kind, lacking in authority... If the heroes of the Heroic Sakura Association could rule the prairie..."
The sheepskin candle stands flickered uncertainly in the cold wind, Great Khan Dangxin’s withered fingers suddenly clenched tighter, tearing the hem of Shi Feiyang’s dark sleeve with a brittle sound. Just as Shi Feiyang was about to respond, thunderous hoofbeats echoed outside the tent, mingled with wolf-like battle cries.
Princess Gugela’s face changed abruptly, her short blade unsheathed in half a cold gleam, shielding young Ba Qianqiu behind her: "It’s the Second Prince’s Wolf Banner Army! These wolves dare to take advantage of father’s dying days..."
Before she could finish, dozens of wolf-fang arrows pierced through the tent.
The leather tent was instantly riddled with holes, the eagle feathers of the arrow tails swept down bronze wine cups on the table, fragments and fresh blood splattered over the sheepskin carpet’s totem.
Black Armored Warriors crashed through the tent door wielding wolf fang clubs wrapped in human skin, a bloody wind rolling in with snowflakes.
Led by the Third Prince Batur, stepping over broken pottery pieces, he lifted Lilak’s cloak with his scimitar: "A legacy decree from the Great Khan? It’s nothing but a trick to fool a three-year-old! Today, whoever walks out of the Golden Summit Tent standing is fit to be the lord of the prairie!"
Shi Feiyang’s pupils contracted sharply, beneath his dark outfit, the Bright Jade Technique was already operating at the "Infinite Asura’s Human Purgatory" level.
With a light tiptoe, his form turned into a ghostly shadow, a golden glow soaring from his palm like the rising sun.
"Cangsong Welcoming Guest!" The opening move of the Hundred Victories Saber Technique was launched with the force of Mountain-Splitting Rock-Breaking, the air emitted a piercing blast.
Three Black Armored Warriors and their clubs were shattered into powder, splintered wood and mangled flesh nailed into tent poles, blooming hideous blood blossoms on the leather.
Princess Gugela passed her child to Shi Xiong, her silver ornaments jingling with the motion.
She unfolded the Bai family’s saber technique, her short blade swirling into blossoming cold plums.
With a flutter of her moon-white skirt, she had sliced open the throats of two warriors, warm blood sprayed onto her pale cheeks.
Shi Feiyang’s palms were like lightning, "Red Dust Slash" technique unfolded, nine streaks of blade qi crisscrossed fiercely, blood and flesh flew everywhere, black armor shattered like paper under golden blade glow.
Batur’s personal guards formed a shield array, the wolf-head totem on their bronze shields glowed eerily.
Shi Feiyang snorted coldly, ice-blue True Qi surged around him, it was the Bright Jade Technique’s "Supreme Forgetting Emotions Ice Soul Cold Prison."
The wind from his palm swept over the shield surface, instantaneously freezing it with frost, exploding the copper studs as hidden weapons.
The guards bled from seven orifices, unable to scream before falling dead, frost and blood on their bodies formed sinister patterns.
Lilak wielded the dragon-scale sword, the ruby on its hilt soaked with blood stains.
Fighting with his life, he engaged the Second Prince, his blade scraping out sparks from the opponent’s armor.
Seeing this, Batur suddenly flung out the Nine-Section Chain Hammer, its barbed hooks glowed with a ghostly venom. Princess Gugela cried out, leaping in front of Shi Feiyang, her short blade clashed with the chain hammer, the sparking ignited the silver ornaments by her temples.
"Courting death!" Shi Feiyang’s eyes were bloodshot with rage, both palms pushed forward with the "Heaven’s Edge" from the Hundred Victories Saber Technique.
The golden blade glow clashed with the chain hammer, the resulting shock wave toppled half of the tent.
Batur screamed as he was sent flying backward, the crack on his Heart Protection Mirror resembling a gaping wound torn open on the prairie.
