King of Hundred Victories Saber
Chapter 1161 - 306: Poison Mist Seals the Pass, Buddhist Light Illuminates the Sword to Break Demonic Smoke (Part 2)
Shi Feiyang pursued the victory, the killing move "Eternal Life" wrapped in the chilling aura of the Ice Soul Cold Prison struck out, and Batur was nailed into the pillar, the blood mist spewing from his seven orifices painted a sinister mandala on the leather tent.
By the time the last rebel fell, the Golden Summit Tent had become a Human Purgatory.
Shi Feiyang embraced the staggering Gugela, her moon-white skirt soaked in blood like a Manjushaka blooming on the snowy plains.
From afar came Lirak’s weak voice: "Thank you...brother-in-law..."
His Dragon Scale Sword was still impaled in the Second Prince’s chest, his whole body leaning against the throne slowly sliding down.
The blood-red setting sun shone through the broken top of the tent, illuminating the wide eyes of Great Khan Dangxin—the prairie eagle unable to close his eyes even in death, staring at the blood-soaked grassland.
In the newly established Khan’s tent, the beast skin map still bore the blood stains from the previous day’s battle.
Lirak gently caressed the handle of the Dragon Scale Sword, looking at the faintly visible bandages beneath Shi Feiyang’s dark attire: "If not for brother-in-law’s decisive action, this Khan’s cap might already be resting on the head of wolves."
Suddenly he pushed the gold-trimmed wine bowl towards the table, the amber mare’s milk wine rippling in the bowl, "Why not stay on the prairie, become the National Guardian General of my Lindan tribe?"
Shi Feiyang lifted the wine bowl and took a sip, watching the wolf head banners fluttering outside, recalling the bloody battle in the Golden Summit Tent, Gugela’s blood-stained moon-white dress fluttering like a butterfly in his memory: "I appreciate Great Khan’s kindness, but as a Jianghu wanderer I am used to freedom, and an official seal does not fit in my wine gourd."
He placed the wine bowl heavily on the table, making a clear echo, "But as long as there is turmoil on the prairie, my Hundred Victories Saber Technique will strike like thunder."
Lirak was silent for a long time, then suddenly removed the Wolf Head Jade Pendant from his waist and slapped it on the table: "Good! From now on, this jade pendant will be the Lindan tribe’s order for mobilization!"
His gaze swept over Shi Feiyang: "Though it will be difficult for my sister and Qianqiu..."
Before he could finish, the tent curtain was suddenly lifted, and Gugela stood in the snowlight holding Ba Qianqiu, the frost flowers still clinging to her moon-white cloak.
Ba Qianqiu babbled, reaching his chubby little hands out towards Shi Feiyang.
Shi Feiyang reached out to take his young son, the scent of milk mixed with the unique resin aroma of the prairie wafting around his nose.
Gugela’s fingers lightly stroked his scabbed wounds, her eyes full of compassion and heartache: "Can’t you stay a few more days? The Birch Forest of Snow Wolf Castle must be hung with icicles now..."
"I was just thinking of taking you there." Shi Feiyang kissed the child on the forehead, feeling the little one giggle in his arms. He looked at Lirak, his gaze steadfast as a snow peak: "Once I see to the Princess and child, I will depart. But the prairie and Jiangnan will henceforth be brothers drinking from the same river."
Three days later, the memorial fire for Great Khan Dangxin burned fiercely in the howling north wind, the red flames casting reflections of the sunset across the sky, stretching the shadows of Shi Feiyang, Gugela, and Ba Qianqiu long and tender.
On the snowy ground, Ba Qianqiu was just learning to walk.
His chubby little hands waved, laughing and babbling, each step leaving deep prints in the snow. Shi Feiyang held Gugela’s hand firmly, the hand that once wielded a short blade fiercely on the battleground, now tender and trembling slightly.
Gugela’s moon-white cloak fluttered in the wind, the silver ornaments in her hair jingling a silent sorrow. Her eyelashes held tiny ice crystals, under the sunset’s glow, like a galaxy full of stars, beautiful and intoxicating, yet full of endless melancholy.
Suddenly, Gugela stopped, tilting her head to look at Shi Feiyang, her sapphire eyes filled with a deep longing and reluctance: "Every time you leave, you say you’ll be back soon." Her voice was soft and trembling, as if a gust of wind could scatter it, "But every separation is so long, every day of waiting is hard to bear. I count the stars in the sky, waiting for the moon’s phases, but time seems frozen, so slow..."
Shi Feiyang felt a pang in his heart and held Gugela and Ba Qianqiu tightly in his arms.
He could feel Gugela’s body quivering slightly, a deep-rooted unease and fear of loss.
"My Princess," he whispered tenderly, his voice full of affection, "When the first snow flower blooms in the Birch Forest again, I promise to return with Jiangnan’s spring tea. This time, I won’t let you wait too long."
Gugela buried her face in Shi Feiyang’s chest, breathing in his familiar scent greedily, a mix of blood, sweat, and unique body fragrance, making her feel incredibly safe.
"I don’t care," she pouted childishly, "If you dare deceive me, I’ll ride a fast horse, chase you to the ends of the earth, and bring you back. You’re mine, only mine, and no one can take you away from me..."
Ba Qianqiu seemed to feel the deep affection between his parents, reaching out his chubby little hands, patting Shi Feiyang’s cheeks, mumbling indistinctly: "Papa, papa..."
The tender voice flowed like a warm stream through their hearts.
Shi Feiyang lowered his head, gently kissing Gugela’s forehead, then kissing Ba Qianqiu’s chubby little face: "Silly girl, how could I deceive you. You and Qianqiu are my most precious treasures in this life. For you, I would give up everything. No matter how many hardships lie ahead, I will definitely return to your side."
He looked towards the distant snow-covered mountains, the afterglow of the sunset cast on them, reflecting a golden light.
