Chapter 915 - Glory to King Broken!

Chapter 915: Chapter 915 - Glory to King Broken!

Broken explained his current situation. He was trapped inside a domain where he couldn’t do anything at all. He couldn’t leave, couldn’t teleport, and couldn’t use any method to escape.

Everyone already knew what he had been doing, including his journey to find Ivana, the challenge he was facing, and his encounter with the ancestral champion of wrath.

With all of that information, they gradually realized and agreed that Broken’s current situation was far more serious than they had first thought. There was even a chance that he could remain trapped there for a very long time.

"Reaching that many levels is going to take a long time," someone commented.

"Broken can still control his golem from outside. You can still kill monsters."

"Yeah, but unfortunately, he doesn’t level up in the normal way. His level increases slowly when he isn’t doing anything."

"So that means Broken will keep gaining levels as long as he stays inside the domain."

"That will take far too much time, and you still won’t be able to do anything while you’re stuck in there."

Broken listened to everyone’s opinions. At that moment, Maylock finally stepped forward to speak. The archer wearing black sunglasses walked out of the crowd and moved closer.

"I want to hear your opinion, Maylock," Broken said.

Maylock cleared his throat before speaking.

"If our assumption is correct, then this ancestral champion of wrath possesses an ability that allows him to see every possible branch of the future. Whatever happens should already exist as one of those possible future paths."

Maylock then looked around at everyone else.

"Are you saying that no matter what we do, we’re still going to lose?"

"If that giant is really what we think he is, then there won’t be any way for Broken to escape."

Maylock shook his head.

"Just because we’ve heard that this giant can see possible futures doesn’t mean it’s guaranteed that he’ll always win."

Everyone looked at him with puzzled expressions.

Maylock took another step forward, drawing everyone’s full attention.

"Look, for thousands of years, the giants have kept themselves isolated, staying far away from the other races. Even the Queen of the High Elves has never been known to have any dealings with them throughout recorded history. That can only mean one of two things."

Maylock swept his gaze across the group once more.

"Either the giants are so overwhelmingly powerful that they would always win no matter who they fought."

He paused for a moment before continuing.

"Or the second possibility is that they simply aren’t dangerous enough for those who stand at the top of the world to consider eliminating them."

For a moment, it seemed that Maylock’s words had not fully convinced everyone. More comments quickly followed.

"I don’t see how this giant’s ability isn’t dangerous."

"Yeah. They deliberately imprisoned Broken even though he had no intention of attacking the giants."

"But I also agree with Maylock. Recently, more and more players have been entering their territory. They might simply be disturbed by all the intrusions."

"But this giant clearly knows that Broken is someone important. He knows Broken’s status as the Champion of Sloth, and probably the authority he possesses as well. He even knows about Broken’s connection to the Kingdom of Dissidia, and perhaps even his relationships with his other wives."

Broken frowned.

"I only have one wife," he interrupted.

A few people chuckled quietly before the room turned serious again.

Their attention returned to Maylock as he continued his explanation.

"So, here’s my analysis. Just because this giant can see possible futures doesn’t mean he’ll always win. There’s no way someone can consistently defeat opponents with far greater potential and superior strength, no matter what kind of future they see."

Maylock paused briefly before continuing.

"Considering the power Broken possesses, it’s entirely possible that what this giant truly wants is Broken bringing all of his strength into their territory."

The room immediately fell silent as everyone tried to process his words.

"You mean... bringing a massive force into the giants’ territory?"

"To wage war against the giants?" someone asked.

Another person spoke up almost immediately.

"Or... to fight something else?"

Broken slowly nodded after listening to Maylock’s explanation. The idea actually made sense.

Maylock continued.

"Players possess something the native inhabitants of Yunate will never be able to match. We can respawn endlessly. We can keep attacking no matter how many times we’re defeated. We have practically unlimited resources. We can continue fighting for as long as necessary."

"No matter how powerful the giants are, if we mobilize our full strength, they’ll still suffer heavy casualties."

The others nodded in agreement.

"And if this ancestral champion of wrath truly can see possible futures, then he already knows his people would become the victims if Broken ever led a massive army into their territory."

Maylock turned to look at Broken, as if leaving everything he had said for Broken to draw the final conclusion.

"I think I’ll leave the conclusion to you, Maylock," Broken said.

Maylock gave a respectful bow.

"Well, Broken, I only wanted to strengthen the foundation behind whatever decision you choose to make. In the end, I believe that whatever decision you reach will be the best course of action available to us."

Broken nodded.

Maylock continued, "Whoever we end up fighting, whatever we’re about to face, I know that standing behind you and supporting you with the thousands of soldiers you’ll command will always be an honor."

Every pair of eyes in the room turned toward Broken, waiting for his decision.

Broken gave a slow nod.

"Thanks, Maylock. Your analysis gives me a little more confidence in what might otherwise seem like a reckless decision."

He fell silent for a moment before looking around at everyone gathered in the room.

"We’ll mobilize everything we have. Every soldier, every resource, every ally. This war will be many times greater than anything we’ve ever faced before."

For a brief moment, the room remained silent.

Then the entire hall erupted with deafening cheers.

"Glory to King Broken!"
