Chapter 13: Getting some clothes

Leon groaned in pain on the ground, he tried his best not to scream and pull attention, but it was extremely difficult as it felt like his body was getting restructured right from the inside out.

Soon the pain got too much to bear and he passed out right there.

After an hour or two, Leon snapped awake, he stared at the ceiling with a confused look in his eyes.

"Urghh," he groaned and struggled back to his feet, he staggered a bit but managed to hold himself up.

"Shit, did I pass out?" He grabbed the wall, using it to ensure that he did not fall. For some reason, he could barely get his balance, staggering himself toward the bathroom door.

He pushed the door open and bent over his sink, turning the water on and washing his face, he felt that way he could calm his raging head down and ensure he could think straight.

He washed it for a few seconds and then pushed his hair back to look at himself in the mirror, his hands froze as he got a look at his face.

"Eh? Ehhhhhhhhh?" He staggered backwards and looked at himself more, he grabbed his towel and wiped his face, wondering if it was because of the water.

The person that he saw there was not him for sure. His face was longer, his eyes sharper, jaws sharper. Everything about his face was screaming model. Leon was not a bad-looking guy, but what he was seeing now was leagues above who he normally was.

He tapped his face a few times to be sure he was the one, and when he was sure that it was real, he stepped back, pulling his shirt off to get a good view of himself and it was safe to say that his body stunned him more than even his face.

He was ripped, lean ripped, the kind you had for peak athletes or even Greek gods.

He ran his fingers over his abs and smiled, "Now this is crazy."

He found himself flexing in front of the mirror for a few seconds until suddenly he heard his phone ring from inside his room. He finally recalled that he had an appointment with Kate and he did not know how long he had been out at all, he dashed out of the bathroom and rushed toward his phone.

"Hello."

"I’m outside your apartment building," Kate said immediately.

"I’ll be out in a few," he responded and rushed out of the room to meet her. He got outside and saw her waiting there with a luxury SUV and her assistant beside her.

Kate looked like she was about to say something but then froze immediately, she looked at him, her eyes scanning him up and down.

"Hey," Leon waved at her.

"Yeah, hey," she replied in an awkward way. She could tell he looked a lot more different but she did not want to say anything and make it weird.

"Let’s head out, Miss Kate," the assistant said, she had been staring at her tablet and now she finally looked up, her eyes paused on Leon for an absurd time until Kate tapped her from behind and made her snap out of it.

They all got into the SUV and the driver started the journey.

"First we will be heading to get you a change of clothes," Kate said.

"Huh? That was not in the plans, why?" Leon asked.

"Well, for someone with your pocket capacity, you should at least have some better clothes and also you seem to be bursting out of the seams in this one."

Leon looked at his arms and noticed that his muscles were bulging and trying to rip through.

"I guess that’s fair," Leon said.

Not long after, they arrived at the very same mall that Leon had been kicked out of a few days ago because of his EX.

He stepped out of the car and looked at the mall.

"What’s wrong?" Kate asked.

"Nothing much, just have some bad memories here."

"Hmm, well whatever they are, I bet some quality shopping will make it better." She walked ahead and Leon followed behind.

The moment she walked in, it seemed everyone in the store could feel her presence, they cleared out of the way and allowed her through, the workers around bowed in greetings.

It was clear to Leon that this was not her first time here at all.

"Seems everyone knows you here," Leon commented.

"Miss Kate, as cold as she seems, is a bit of a shopping addict and she comes here most of the time," her assistant said.

"Hey," Kate glared at her.

"Sorry, Miss, but I am yes true," she replied and looked back at her tablet.

They made it to a store and walked in, the doorman immediately stepped in and stopped Leon.
