Leon stared at the screen with a subtle smile on his face because what he was seeing was not just an opportunity, it was something beyond. If he bought the shares from the company, he would be getting ten times in the next few days.

[Hyper Virtual]

The company was one that focused on creating virtual worlds, games, and other things.

Leon pulled out his phone and started searching what they were about to do that was about to make them rise that much. He searched and searched for a few seconds until finally he found what it was.

The company was working on a hyper-realistic virtual environment for hunters and even non-hunters to train and also fight monsters in a gate-simulated environment.

"That’s actually quite interesting," Leon said. He leaned back into his chair. If this worked out the way that they wanted it to, they would become big, and it was clear from the appraisal that they were going to succeed.

Leon leaned in and was about to actually buy shares, but Shadow appeared behind him.

"For someone very smart, you don’t seem to think far," he said.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Leon asked.

"Listen, I’ll explain this as best as possible," Shadow said. "You have access to a shit ton of credits, and you get them from the investments you have, especially the Viper shares, so you can easily use them to purchase a lot of stuff that this world has never seen before."

"Yeah? So what does that have to do with anything?" Leon asked.

"You can choose to change the state of what you get. If you choose to buy the majority of the rights to the Hyper Virtual company, you can make changes to everything that they have, and you can proceed to give them the best equipment that can make their entire project several times better.

When you do that, it should be able to change the returns that you gain from this investment. In summary, what I am saying is that you might be able to completely change the outcome of an investment if you tamper with a few things before you purchase it," Shadow explained in depth.

Leon froze when he heard the explanation. He got to his feet and turned to look at Shadow.

"Whoa, that’s an awesome idea," Leon said, his eyes wide with joy and excitement.

"Yeah, use your brain more," Shadow said. Leon rolled his eyes and then turned back to the system. "It seems they have half of their company up for grabs," Leon said.

"Nah, that won’t work," Shadow replied.

"Sigh, you really want us to go all out, I see."

Leon sat down and found the contact of the company. He immediately went on to send an email to them, informing them that he was a major investor and someone who wanted to take their company to the next level, and he wanted to find out if they were willing to work with him.

After sending the email, Leon leaned back into his chair and waited. A few minutes went by, but there was no reply from the company.

He stared at the screen for a moment, then shrugged. He wasn’t in a hurry, and even if they refused to work with him, he could always find something else to invest in.

Just as he was about to close the email, a notification appeared.

Leon clicked on it and began reading, only for his expression to change slightly.

’Dear Sir, we have no plans to work with any investors at the moment. We would also like to ask you to stop sending scam messages to our company email, or we will have you tracked down and arrested.’

Leon raised a brow as he read the message again.

"That’s a rather interesting response," he said, his lips twitching slightly.

"Well, it’s pretty much expected. Do you honestly think a company would believe that some random person wants to invest in them just because he sent an email? You don’t even have a proper name behind your email address," Shadow said.

Leon glanced at him, then turned back to the screen.

"Fair enough, but they are the ones losing out here."

He immediately began typing another email, explaining that he wasn’t there to scam them and that their company was sitting on a goldmine. He also made it clear that if they weren’t willing to have a proper conversation with him, he would simply take his business elsewhere.

If they were willing to risk losing an opportunity like this because they believed he was a scammer, then that was perfectly fine with him.

After finishing the message, Leon clicked send and leaned back in his chair.

"Ooh, threatening them already," Shadow said with an amused expression.

Leon chuckled softly.

"I don’t have time to waste. If they want to take the opportunity, then they should take it. Otherwise, I’ll find someone else."

A few minutes later, another notification appeared on the screen.

Leon opened it and found a completely different response from the previous one. The company apologized for their earlier message and stated that they were interested in hearing what he had to offer. They also included a link for a video meeting, asking him to join if he was available.

Leon smiled and immediately clicked on the link.

The meeting took a few moments to load, and after a short wait, the screen finally came to life.

Behind the screen was a man sitting in what appeared to be his room. His eyes were half-closed, his clothes were slightly scattered, and his hair looked like he had just woken up from a deep sleep. It seemed the meeting had interrupted his rest, and from the way he was staring at the screen, he hadn’t even fully recovered from it.

Leon stared at the man with a soft smile on his face, waiting for him to speak, but after a few seconds, he realized the man wasn’t going to say anything anytime soon.

"Good night," Leon greeted politely.

The man blinked a few times before straightening his back.

"Good night," he replied, rubbing his eyes as he tried to wake himself up properly. "I’m sorry about that. I wasn’t expecting a meeting."
