The three figures in the room froze when they heard all that. They had not expected it to turn out this way at all. They for sure thought that when Leon came, they would be able to handle the issue relatively easily.

"So what’s it going to be?" Leon asked.

"Mr. Leon, let’s not move on in haste, we did not mean to undermine you or trick you at all," Logan said.

"Hmph," Mark folded his arms. He seemed pissed off with the situation.

The woman had not said anything till now, and she kept looking at her screen.

"We just want to know if you are willing to sell a small part of your shares that you own from the company. Even five percent will do a lot as we plan to grow and expand." Logan pushed. "You’ll still have fifteen percent for you to use however you like, and you still have a major hold in the organization," he explained, trying to persuade Leon as best as he could.

Leon smiled. He tapped his finger on the table a few times. "Five hundred thousand for five percent shares, that’s what I want."

The three of them froze and looked at him. Mark rose to his feet and slammed his fist into the table. "Do you think we are here to play?" He roared.

"I should be the one asking that question, because it seems that you take me as a joke."

Leon said and pulled out his phone. He showed the screen. "I’m only half a day in, the valuation of the organization has gotten all the way to one million and five hundred thousand and is still rapidly rising.

My shares are now worth over three hundred thousand, and if I allow them, they will easily cross that five hundred thousand and go on to become multiple times more than that."

’Show confidence, Leon, this is not the time to grovel like the old you. You have to bury that version of you for good.’

"Seems the kid has more skin than we bargained for." The woman finally spoke. She placed down her tablet and looked at Leon.

"Don’t you find it a bit greedy, kid?" She asked. "A day ago you were a normal college student, and now you have a quarter million credits," she asked.

"Greedy? Yes," Leon replied.

"Greed drives all businesses," Xander continued. "Knowing how to use that greed is what makes it work properly, and so far, Leon is using it well within his right," Xander continued.

At that same time, Leon turned on his recorder and started recording straight to his PC, which was at home. He had a feeling that things were about to get heated.

"My friend is right, greed is needed. I was taught that opportunity was luck met with preparation. I got lucky, and I am prepared to handle it," Leon said.

"You seem smart and capable," she said. "You must have at least thought about the fact that we could try to force you, right?" She asked.

Xander hit his fist on the table and pulled attention back to himself.

"Seems we are forgetting that I am here. I’d hate to have to use my father’s name to force things, but you are pushing my hand. Give my friend what he demanded and allow us to leave. You should be lucky he chose to sell some," Xander said in anger.

"No, Xander, that’s alright. I have decided to not sell anything anymore.

The both of us will be taking our leave now, and you better not try to play us," he said and raised his phone. "This has been recording the conversation and sending it to my laptop, and someone is already in place to handle it if I go missing. I don’t even need to bother with my friend’s family to get rid of you." Leon made his stance clear and ensured that they knew he was a threat.

"Haha, I like you. The two of you are actually impressive," the woman said.

Leon did not stay for her madness. He walked out of the office, and Xander followed behind. They made it out of the building without issue, even waiting for them to drive them back.

"Well, that was a lot," Xander said. He stretched and yawned.

"I didn’t know you had such aura about you," Leon said as they walked down the street.

"I had to do a lot growing up, even closing some major deals. Father did not want his son to be useless," Xander explained.

"I guess that makes sense," Leon replied.

"So, we heading home?" Xander asked.

"You leave without me. I need to get some things."

"Ouu, you shopping? Don’t tell me you’re withdrawing your shares, right?"

"No, go away."

Xander laughed while he hailed a taxi. He got in, and with a final wave, he drove off.

Leon pulled out his phone and checked his balance again.

"Let’s get this started."
