Yuri nodded at Kazui’s words, then replied.

"If the handgun is a magic item, then Kid-san was a magic-class."

Kazui and Yuri nodded at the surprised Lumia.

"When we went to the Black Maiden yesterday to thank them for saving us, she was someone we met before going up on deck."

"You boarded it? The Black Maiden?"

Lumia raised her voice in surprise.

"Not boarded, exactly. We were just allowed up on deck."

"The Black Maiden is men-only forbidden, so even letting someone onto the deck should normally be limited to repairmen and mechanics."

"Ivory-san, who treated me, wanted to check whether I had recovered properly, so she got special permission for us to go up on deck."

Kazui briefly explained how it happened.

Lumia was heading for Aquila’s central district, while Kazui and Yuri lived near the eastern edge of the east district, close to the wall, so they were going in different directions.

After parting from Lumia, they started walking toward the apartment.
