Life Game In Other World

Chapter 1843 - 1842: A True ’World

Main World·Stone Monument Desert

The bright sunlight dropped from the west, and in the silent desert, only the faint sound of the wind howled.

Hard ice still covered the gravel and dunes, creating a spectacle completely different from other places.

"Was the night shift staff here before?" The staff member walked up to a silent temporary container house, gazing at one of the houses with the light on.

"Yes." The young man beside him nodded slightly.

"Is the isolation done?" the staff member asked softly, "Did he look at the stele inside and read the text on it? Didn’t they memorize the security protocol?"

"Isolated, currently at the highest level of isolation," the young man replied quietly, "At the time, the stele was already destroyed, and the person on duty hadn’t experienced such mysticism scenarios and didn’t have a strong sense of caution."

"This is very dangerous," the staff member took a deep breath, "Any contact with such advanced events could lead to unknowable consequences. The security protocol is not a tool to torture us, but a barrier to protect us. Review the security protocol again thoroughly, nothing can go wrong."

"Understood." The young man nodded slightly.

The staff member looked up, glanced at the light shining from the container house in front, then withdrew his gaze, "Arrange for a drone to deliver some supplies and entertainment equipment. Being cooped up for too long can drive people crazy. Dean He allocated us ample funds; there’s no need to make isolation personnel uncomfortable."

"Alright." The young man nodded slightly.

Upon saying this, the two turned around and left the area.

A guard standing a short distance away, holding a firearm, watched the two leave, then turned his gaze to the surveillance equipment in front of him.

Screen after screen monitored every corner of the entire area, while the central screen was focused on the door of that container room.

It was unclear how much time had passed. Accompanied by a slight whistling sound, a transport drone flew across the sky, carrying a packaged box, landed in front of the door, and placed the box down.

The red light on the door lit up, and a young man in simple white standard pajamas opened the door, looking at the package box in front of the door.

He raised his hand, opened the package box, revealing the game consoles and other entertainment equipment inside.

The drone in front of the door then lifted off, gradually moving away from the house.

And that young man in white pajamas raised his head, watching the departing drone.

As the drone disappeared into the night, the young man reached out, picked up the package box, and brought it back inside the container room.

Then he returned to the doorway, glanced in the direction of the surveillance, extended his hand, and closed the door. The red light on the door turned off, shifting to a green light.

The guard in front of the screens watched the green light turn on, raised his hand, and yawned.

And with his yawning action, on the center surveillance screen, the window beside the door had somehow completely opened, and the young man in white pajamas leaped out of the window, somersaulting and landing in the shadow of the room’s corner.

His figure appeared in the top-left corner of the surveillance screen.

Immediately, the young man in white glanced again at the surveillance camera, rolled forward, and his entire body, like a flicker, vanished from the entire surveillance screen.

The yawning guard lowered his head again, looking back at the screen in front of him, focusing on the scene on the screen,

The door of that container room remained closed, with the green light on the door still shining.

Everything was as it used to be, without any changes.

······

Meanwhile, at the corner parking lot of the entire lockdown perimeter, the young man in white pajamas walked past the sleeping security guard and approached the oldest vintage off-road vehicle in the parking lot. He raised his hand, pulled open the car door, and sat inside.

He raised his hand, directly snapped open the off-road vehicle’s ignition port, and pulled out two wires, connecting them.

Accompanied by a slight ignition sound, the car started successfully, with the engine making a slight rumble.

The young man raised his hands to the steering wheel, looking ahead.

A faint gray glow illuminated in his pupils, covering his entire eyes, staining his pupils a light gray.

Vroom——

The accelerator was pressed down, the engine’s sound suddenly rose, the entire vehicle jolted violently, moved forward a little, then quieted down.

The engine had stalled.

Sitting in the car, the young man remained silent for a moment, bent down, reconnected the wires, and ignited the engine again.

This time, the old off-road vehicle slowly started, moving gradually toward the parking lot exit. After verifying the vehicle, the gate opened, and he drove past the sleeping security personnel into the vast desert.

——

Main World·Gobi Desert

He Ao’s body looked at the surrounding desert, his gaze dropping slightly.

His fingers clutched the wooden leaf in his hand, and his entire body suddenly plummeted, his consciousness rapidly sinking.

A network of bizarre lights and the giant framework they formed appeared in He’s field of view.

The flickering light nearly filled He’s eyes.

This framework compared to the one he constructed above the small world in the Martial Arts World was like the difference between mountains and hills.

The Main World was several magnitudes higher than the ’small world’ he ’created’ himself.

Previously, he hadn’t realized the rule framework of the Main World was so vast. Now with a reference, he understood the enormity of the Main World.

But in such a vast world, the fact that no Transcendent being was ever born was also a marvel.

He Ao’s gaze darted quickly between the streaks of light, with each passing sightline, streams of knowledge flashed through his mind.

This was a new method he found for retrieving rules during his rule-repairing process.

Through extremely brief contact with sightlines, only a small portion of the rule knowledge entered his mind. These bits of knowledge acted like indexes, telling him what a rule was for, without taking up his mental space like complete knowledge, allowing him to find the rule he wanted.

Simply put, it was like reading a directory.

Soon, He Ao found rules related to time.

With his gaze, strings of knowledge related to time flashed rapidly through his mind.

This wasn’t his first time reading time-related rules.

In fact, the sole time he entered the ’Starry Sky,’ the knowledge he acquired was related to time.

But that knowledge was so vast and profound that even when directly imparted, without pre-existing knowledge, it was difficult to comprehend, and it could affect his thinking. So after understanding a portion, he sealed the rest deep within his memory.

And the Main World’s time rules, he had studied as well. The new world he created also had time rules.

He wouldn’t forget to include such an important parameter as time when constructing rules.

However, the rules he constructed didn’t work as he expected.

The time rules of the Main World had their own characteristics, but also seemed to be some sort of annotation of the universe’s deeper rules.

He Ao had long ago discovered a characteristic of the entire universe’s time dimension:

Although different worlds seemed to exist within the same universe, the flow of time could differ.

The time flow ratio between the Copy World and the Main World is twenty-four to one, while the initial relic and the Main World have a time flow ratio of twelve to one.

He Ao did not fully grasp the time rules, so he directly copied the time rules of the Main World into the New World.

This method is actually very effective.

Because in the New World, other rules He Ao didn’t understand were also directly copied over.

It’s like a programmer copying and pasting unknown code to see if it can run.

The underlying rules of the world also validate each other; if the rules cannot mesh, cannot run, the entire rule structure will automatically collapse.

Most of the rules He Ao copied over successfully took effect during his recent ’creation’ process.

And as for the time rules copied over, they did not collapse but instead integrated into the rule framework and ran normally.

This is why He Ao initially didn’t consider the issue of the time rules.

But the reality is that time did not run normally in the New World.

He Ao’s consciousness flickered rapidly, quickly reviewing the time-related knowledge of the Main World in his mind.

The final result was:

Seems like nothing’s wrong, huh?

His consciousness rose, returning to the Main World.

The scorching sun baked the Gobi Desert, stirring up blazing winds across the earth.

He Ao raised his hand, and a flat stone rose from the earth, standing behind him like a stool.

He sat on this stone stool, rubbed his head.

Sometimes, the biggest obstacle for a person isn’t being trapped by problems and errors but not knowing where the mistake is.

Purely from a rules perspective, his replication of the time rules seemed fine.

Although he hadn’t fully understood these time rules, he’s not a complete fool; he can discern which parts of the time rules are core and which are peripheral.

He also modified the interfacing between rules and the time rules, ensuring they mesh properly to avoid nonfunction due to poor integration with other rules.

But then the question arises, with everything supposedly fine, why are they not running?

Creation, as expected, isn’t an easy task.

He Ao felt his head starting to swell.

The most likely cause of the non-running time rules is when other rules run normally, they attempt to interact with the time rules but fail to activate them.

But all the rule interfaces are fine; He Ao had checked them once before returning to the Main World.

Technically, when other rules take effect, it should indicate successful scheduling of the time rules.

If the interaction is fine, then perhaps the problem lies within the time rules themselves not taking effect.

However, why would the same core rules run successfully in the Main World?

Where’s the problem?

Why not take another look in the Martial Arts World? Was there an issue during replication?

But there shouldn’t be a problem, according to the memory of Super Memory—copy-paste can’t be wrong.

Wait, ’coming and going’, ’mobilizing’.

The surrounding scene changed in an instant, transforming into that deep forest.

Here is the Martial Arts World.

He Ao looked up, glanced at the surrounding scene, finger holding the ’Barrier Wood’, consciousness diving into the depths of the world.

In that instant, he realized where the problem lay.

’Trapped Destiny Plate’

The Main World’s time rules aren’t complete time rules, but rather a ’mobilization’ of the most basic rules of the cosmos.

The Main World’s time rules are essentially just a secondary modification interface.

It’s like a secondary webpage.

Because the underlying rules are identical, these worlds with vastly different time flows can exist peacefully within the same cosmos.

But the Martial Arts World is different.

The Martial Arts World is encapsulated within the Trapped Destiny Plate.

It doesn’t fully exist in the cosmos but is surrounded by arrays left by the wizards, like the shell of an egg, dividing the Martial Arts World into ’inside’ and ’outside’.

Also isolating the Martial Arts World from interaction with the external world.

This is also the source of the Trapped Destiny Plate’s ability to trap fate—closure and isolation.

And He Ao’s New World is based on the Martial Arts World, similarly surrounded by the Trapped Destiny Plate.

Enveloped in this ’shell’, the interaction between the New World’s time rules and the deep cosmic time rules is obstructed, causing the time rules to fail to run properly.

Of course, this isn’t without solutions.

Reflecting on it, the original Martial Arts World’s time was running properly; there were traces of original time rules invoking cosmic rules.

So the wizards must have left an interface within the Trapped Destiny Plate for proper interaction with the time rules, only He Ao hadn’t found it.

This interface is likely hidden among the densely packed techniques and arrays that constitute the Trapped Destiny Plate.

But the problem is that with He Ao’s current mysticism foundation, he can’t comprehend the functions of these techniques and arrays in the Trapped Destiny Plate, nor easily find the interfaces related to time rules from these incomprehensible knowledge.

Though he is now creating worlds, it doesn’t mean he knows much more; he’s reached this step entirely by exploiting loopholes.

However, under the Secret Wizard’s enlightenment, he can learn this knowledge, although it requires a lot of time.

Of course, there’s another way—finding a means to fully unfold the Trapped Destiny Plate and release the New World in some part of the cosmos.

Without the obstruction of the Trapped Destiny Plate, the New World should function normally.

But lacking that ’shell’s isolation, Divine Beings who have mystical connections with the Martial Arts World and Trapped Destiny Plate may also discover the Martial Arts World.

Thus, although the time rules would run successfully, the New World might also be utterly destroyed in the midst of the Divine Beings’ ’enthusiasm’, possibly also leading to pursuit of He Ao.

Apart from these two plans, He Ao has a third option.

Which is to reconstruct genuine, complete time rules at the foundational level of the New World, directly supplementing the missing cosmic fundamental rules rather than mobilizing cosmic rules.

Thus constructing the entire New World into an ’independent’ world detached from the outer cosmos.

A true ’world’.
