Life Game In Other World

Chapter 1844 - 1843: Time (Major - , Requesting Monthly Votes)

Under normal circumstances, this plan is almost a pipe dream. In contrast, the probability of success of the first two plans is much higher.

But, coincidentally, He Ao now just happens to have relevant knowledge of the time rules at the cosmic level.

Understanding is difficult, but copying and pasting is easy as long as you find those key parts.

If the approach is correct, this plan might even be the shortest in terms of time.

He Ao tapped his forehead, releasing the knowledge sealed in his mind.

His gaze lifted as his entire body pierced through the clouds, reaching the silent, ocean-surrounded land.

Countless knowledge unfolded in his field of view.

This time, it truly seemed like an attempt at Genesis.

At that moment, the surging knowledge completely occupied his mind, nearly causing his brain to crash.

——

Main World

The old off-road vehicle, bathed in the glow of the sunset, stopped in the dust-covered city.

A young man in white pajamas lifted his gaze, his eyes passing through the car window to look at the figures outside.

Those were workers in the midst of their tasks, quickly using jackhammers to carve lines into the ground of the city.

Beside them stood young engineers, repeatedly comparing the lines to the drawings in their hands to verify if they were deviating.

The young man raised his hand, pushed open the car door, and got out of the old off-road vehicle, walking to the edge of the dust-splattered construction site.

"This is a construction zone. No entry allowed!"

As he moved, a tall security guard approached, stopping him at the outside.

The young man raised his gaze, glanced at the security guard, and his gray eyes gradually shone with a glimmer, and then he flickered, as if transported, passing through the guard’s body and reaching behind him.

Yet the guard didn’t seem to notice anything amiss. Seeing no one in front, he seemed to think the young man had been driven away, so he turned around and continued his patrol.

Meanwhile, others at work remained absorbed in their tasks, as if no one noticed the young man dressed in pure white standing in the dust-laden construction site.

Soon, the young man walked beside the engineer and glanced at the drawings in the engineer’s hand.

The drawings seemed to be a part of a five-pointed star, with a simple pattern, but requiring extremely high precision as marked on the paper.

At this moment, the engineer was gazing at the drawing, his eyes on that simple pattern, his whole body pausing slightly, as if some mysterious force within the pattern was attracting him.

But soon, he pulled his gaze away from the pattern and looked back at the working laborers.

The ground erupted in flying dust, and roaring machines echoed with a trembling sound.

The swirling dust passed by the young man in white, flowing like water around a rock, not a speck touching his body.

The young man lowered his head, gazing at the lines being carved.

A faint gray light flickered from his pupils, and within the carved lines, a faint gray light also began to gradually shine.

Yet everyone continued working, seemingly unaware of the flickering gray light.

As the gray light flickered in the lines, the young man’s body gradually became covered with a gray glow.

He lifted his head, glanced around, and looked at the off-road vehicle parked at the edge, a slight smile curling up on his lips.

Then he stomped on the ground, the surface shattering beneath him, and his whole body soared like a cannonball into the sky, into the sunset’s glow, through the clouds.

At this moment, the engineer who was looking at the drawing seemed to finally realize something, turning his gaze towards the rear.

A star-ring-like network of cracks, as if created by immense force, appeared behind him.

He scratched his head, seemingly pondering when this network of cracks had appeared.

Martial Arts World

He Ao’s consciousness awakened from chaos, gazing blankly at the stiff sky.

At this moment, only one sentence lingered in his mind.

I love learning, learning makes people happy.

If I open a ceremony to communicate with good friends, will it make learning faster?

He started to understand the mindset of many knowledge believers.

Since high school, he hadn’t experienced such terrifying pressure.

Especially after his promotion to Secret Wizard when he could instantly understand any knowledge, he felt like a superhero.

But at this moment, he realized once again that he was indeed a mortal.

These cosmic time rules, even when directly instilled in his mind, felt obscure and dry, tasteless like chewing wax.

Moreover, once he barely grasped a little understanding, he realized it was just a tiny fragment of a much larger iceberg beneath the surface.

This approach wouldn’t work; he had no idea when he would thoroughly digest this knowledge.

He Ao rubbed his brow.

By then, who knows how much time would have passed.

Is there a shortcut?

Isn’t it possible to leave difficult questions aside in exams and first tackle the easier ones?

At that brief moment, a flash of insight struck He Ao.

Change of approach, could we directly infer the core of cosmic rules through the time rules of the Main World? Thus only needing to replicate these cores?

Main World·West Capital

Amidst the twilight, giant machines roared as huge excavators, under guidance, carved lines on the hard roads within the dim yellow isolation belt.

A young man in white pajamas descended from the sky, lifted his head to glance at the roaring excavators, then withdrew his gaze, slowly progressing along the wide road.

His silhouette flickered like a light, passing through shadows, threading through gaps between buildings, reaching amidst old buildings.

He looked up at the sign hanging from one of the buildings ahead.

[West City Third Mental Hospital Abnormal Human Research Center]

Two armed sentinels stood before this building, alertly watching the road ahead, their eyes converging on the suddenly appearing young man in white.

But the young man merely glanced at these two sentinels, took a step forward, passed through the wide gates, and entered the courtyard.

Watching this scene, the sentinels originally guarding the entrance had no suspicion, instead turning their gaze back to the front.

Just like that, as if the previously lurking suspicious figure had left, everything returned to how it was.

The figure of the white-clothed youth naturally traversed the courtyard between buildings, entering an office building, and finally reached the depths of the building, pushing open a tightly shut door.

"How is the array drawing coming along?" Zhang Ansha sat in the meeting room, raised his head, and looked at the people standing inside.

"So far, everything is going smoothly," a young man quickly replied, "According to headquarters’ requirements, we should be able to complete the entire plan’s array drawing before midnight."

"What about the related carrying items?" Zhang Ansha turned his head and looked at a somewhat elegant woman on the other side.

"The required pollutants have been selected from the warehouse and are being sent to the designated areas." The elegant woman raised her head and looked at Zhang Ansha, "What are these pollutants for?"

"I don’t know either," Zhang Ansha shook his head, "I was just told these pollutants might become key ritual props, carrying the array across Xidu and nearby large regions."

"So, what’s the purpose of the array we’re setting up?" The young man beside them also asked curiously, rubbing his neck, "Headquarters suddenly issued such a strange order, requiring everything to be completed before midnight, which seems too rushed."

"I don’t know either," Zhang Ansha paused slightly then shook his head, "Perhaps Dean He knows."

"Boss, I heard Dean He came from our West City, and you promoted him yourself, becoming the acting dean of the research institute in just a few months," the young man said with sudden excitement after hearing this, "How did he enter the research institute? Are you two familiar?"

"Of course, just like you, he came in through official channels." Zhang Ansha rolled his eyes looking at the young man, "Have you finished your work? Are all the arrays set up?"

"Oh," the young man scratched his head a bit awkwardly, gathered up the documents on the table, "I’ll follow up right away."

Just as he was about to turn around and leave, the white-clothed youth standing in the corner of the meeting room raised his head, a flash of gray light passed through his eyes.

"By the way," the young man seemed to remember something, turned back to look at Zhang Ansha, "Boss, since the project is personally pushed by Dean He, will Dean He come to West City to inspect the work? Do we have a chance to see him? Or do we have any opportunity to report to him?"

"What are you thinking about?" Zhang Ansha looked at the young man with confusion, then shook his head, "I only know Dean He is not in Central Earth right now, don’t dwell on this, but if you do well, I can report it to him."

"Thank you, boss!" The young man suddenly became excited.

He looked up, glanced at the open meeting room door, paused slightly, then walked out excitedly.

Meanwhile, the white-clothed youth standing in the corner of the meeting room merely raised his eyebrows a bit: "Not in Central Earth..."

His figure flickered for a moment and vanished from the meeting room.

"Then I’ll leave first as well." The elegant woman also greeted Zhang Ansha and turned around to leave the meeting room.

After the woman left, Zhang Ansha looked at the open door and rubbed his temples slightly, "These guys never close the door."

Martial Arts World

He Ao raised his gaze, looking at the glowing framework.

He released his hand, and the light he had grasped shot out like a spiritual snake, plunging into the shimmering framework.

The light wrapped around the edges of the framework, then after a brief pause, penetrated into the framework itself.

The whole foundation of the world seemed to quiet for a moment, that framework, flickering with intense light, seemed to dim for a moment, and all light halted temporarily.

After a brief pause, the radiance of the framework resumed, and all light within the framework began to operate again.

Seeing this, He Ao finally breathed a sigh of relief, his consciousness rose from the void, quickly crossing the deep Martial Arts World, across its firmament, reaching the still world.

He raised his head, sweeping his gaze over the surrounding land and sun and moon.

The trickling streams flowed through mountains, and the blazing sun streaked across the sky.

His thoughts could make the sun and moon revolve, make the star sea rise and fall.

But this wasn’t true time; he was tinkering with a model of a world.

It was he who moved the sun and moon, he who guided the streams.

The rules of this world were neither self-coherent nor naturally operational.

Time did not exist within the world.

As He Ao’s footsteps landed in the deep mountains, the sun above ground halted its operation, trickling streams also stilled at that moment.

Even the splattered waterdrops froze in the sky, forming a slightly ’dreamlike’ tableau of time’s stillness.

Once external forces ceased their pull, all movement instantly reverted to stillness.

He Ao bowed his gaze, observing the scene in this world.

Initially, when attempting to create a world based on the Martial Arts World, he thought he just needed to piece together those incomplete rules, unexpected challenges emerged.

He thought the biggest hurdle would be life; instead, time directly hindered him.

Many problems only become visible in the midst of the process.

He shook his head slightly, looking at the droplets suspended in the sky, gently raised his hand.

Just a moment ago, he transferred a core rule he’d found into the new world’s foundation, or restructured it within the new world’s framework.

No issues emerged in the rule call.

He gazed at the suspended droplets in the sky, lightly raised his hand, and snapped his fingers.

The crisp sound echoed through the valley, yet the world remained so silent.

The droplets suspended in the air stayed fixed, as if nothing had happened.

He Ao withdrew his hand.

Still isn’t right, where did things go wrong?

As he moved, his hand brushed past some of the droplets.

Those droplets splashed forth following his hand, though in the flash, they merged into the soil.

He Ao looked at the droplets, instinctively recalling his hand, and his gaze.

Then abruptly realized something, turning his gaze to the droplets in the sky.

Normally, these droplets, unless guided by his power, couldn’t cohesively produce any movement.

Even when brushed by his hand, they should merely stick to it without splashing forth.

He Ao raised his hand, speaking softly, "Time should have clarity and impurity, heavy descends, pure ascends, all things are drawn by the earth."

The droplets dancing in the air suddenly seemed guided by some force, cascading downwards, rolling forward along the river path.

He had just forgotten to add the gravity parameter.

He Ao watched the rolling stream before him with excitement.

Though the stream began to flow, it followed no particular pattern.

One moment it flowed forward, then backward, often stopping entirely.

However, this demonstrated that the time parameter within this world began to take effect, though still unstable, with rules lacking completion.

The direction is correct!

He Ao took a deep breath, his body again immersed into the depths of the world, wherein flickering radiance arose upon the land and sky.
