Chapter 605: Chapter 604: An Engagement Arranged for You

Very soon, Nathan Foster arrived in front of them.

Chester Lynch stood up and greeted Nathan Foster:

"Mr. Foster."

Nathan Foster nodded in response, then turned his head to softly ask South Grant, "Has everything been resolved at the company?"

South Grant raised an eyebrow and said, "Of course."

Nathan Foster reached out and ruffled South Grant’s messy short hair.

South Grant felt the warmth of Nathan Foster’s palm and couldn’t help but think, if she’d known she’d be exposed as soon as she returned, she might as well have come back dressed as a woman. What a pity for her long hair.

Chester Lynch stood aside, watching the natural and intimate interaction between the two, feeling a slight sense of loss.

However, he also knew that once you miss the chance with some people, it’s never possible again, just like two years ago, when South Grant spoke to him.

At this moment, Chester Lynch glanced at his watch, then said to Nathan Foster and South Grant:

"I just remembered I have something to do, Mr. Foster, South, I’ll bid you goodbye for now."

Then Chester Lynch left. South Grant watched Chester Lynch’s back, thinking that he seemed much more composed in the past two years, and busier as well. However, Nathan Foster knew that Chester Lynch wasn’t actually busy; he was purposely avoiding them.

Afterwards, South Grant leaned over to Nathan Foster’s ear and said with a grin:

"He keeps calling you Mr. Foster; does that mean he’ll call me auntie in the future?"

Thinking about Chester Lynch calling her that in the future, South Grant couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

Nathan Foster had no interest in sitting in the café any longer and took South Grant out to the car.

While sitting in the car, South Grant asked him:

"Didn’t you say you weren’t coming to pick me up today?"

Nathan Foster glanced at him sideways, "If I didn’t come, would you have promised dinner to someone else tonight?"

Seeing Nathan Foster’s jealousy, South Grant couldn’t help but smile with pursed lips.

"What a jealous man."

Others were easy to deal with, but Chester Lynch was the most dangerous one, and Nathan Foster was very guarded against him.

After seeing Nathan Foster’s somber face, South Grant reached out, poked him lightly, and said:

"You’re so petty, Chester Lynch returned my 10% shares to me, still at the price from two years ago. Technically, I should be hosting a banquet to thank him properly. But now it was just a cup of coffee, and look at how gloomy your face is, nearly as dark as coal."

Nathan Foster drove out of the city. They no longer lived in the Foster Family house, nor did they stay at the military base. Nathan Foster had been living with her at a villa in the suburbs.

Once they arrived at the villa, Nathan Foster finally spoke to South Grant:

"Your grandfather has arranged a marriage for you."

South Grant was pouring a glass of water, and upon hearing this from Nathan Foster, she spat it all out.

"Uncle, what did you just say? Say it again."

Nathan Foster sat on the sofa, casually leaning back with his arm resting on the sofa, and said lazily, "I said your grandfather has arranged a marriage for you."

South Grant finally came to her senses, quickly sat beside Nathan Foster, staring at him:

"When did this happen? How come I didn’t know?"

"Today at noon, he went out for tea with the old master of The Lynch Family. The two of them talked it over and settled the matter."

Upon hearing this from Nathan Foster, South Grant was left stunned.
