Chapter 610 - 609: Turning Their Scheme Against Them

Chapter 610: Chapter 609: Turning Their Scheme Against Them

"Using their plan against them."

South Grant was stunned when Nathan Foster spoke these four words.

"What does ’using their plan against them’ mean?" ℴ

"As long as the four treasure maps exist, they will never give up. When the time comes, you will not have peace. You must completely destroy the treasure map to ensure tranquility."

South Grant thought about it, indeed, descendants of the Imperial Grandson or similar issues must be addressed, otherwise her children will have to face these matters.

The solution must come from the root.

"How exactly will you use their plan against them?" South Grant asked Nathan Foster.

"I have a way, you just trust me. But one thing, no matter what happens, you must trust me."

South Grant listened to Nathan’s words and nodded.

She was aware of what Nathan Foster had done for her.

"Do you need me to do anything?" South Grant asked.

Nathan Foster ruffled her hair and then said with a smile:

"No, do whatever you want to do."

South Grant tilted her head and thought for a moment, "Uncle, then my dad is not a child of the Grant Family. Yet, I’m fighting for the Grant Family’s assets..."

South Grant paused, then realized.

"No, even if my dad is not a child of the Grant Family, that company isn’t the Grant’s, it’s the Ellison Family’s. My dad is also the Ellison Family’s grandson. I have the duty to kick out all those parasites!"

Nathan Foster saw South Grant’s confident face, and a smile gradually spread across his eyes.

South Grant fell asleep, and as Nathan watched her sleep, he left the bedroom.

Since she had the surgery two years ago, South Grant’s sleep quality had been poor, and Nathan Foster usually waited for her to fall asleep before he slept.

Now, as South Grant slept, Nathan tiptoed out of the bedroom.

He went to the study, then turned on the computer.

Nathan Foster connected to a video call with Langston Caldwell, who soon appeared in the video.

"How’s it going, have you found anything?"

"I found something; those copied symbols are a type of script, but this type of script hasn’t appeared in Celestia’s history. I suspect it’s related to that treasure, perhaps inherited from a former subsidiary state."

Langston Caldwell has also been investigating these matters over the past two years.

The symbols they referred to were those South Grant had seen on the USB drive and copied down for Nathan Foster.

After hesitating for a moment, Nathan Foster asked, "Did you ever see this kind of script when you were in the Osborne Family?"

Langston frowned and thought, "Are you sure it can be found in the Osborne Family?"

"If anyone in this world recognizes this type of script, it would only be the Osborne Family."

Langston Caldwell paused before speaking, "The Osborne Family has an independent island, and it’s like a kingdom unto itself. Though it’s under Fravia’s domain, the government barely manages it. The Osborne family’s economic power is vast, and the government provides them with conveniences. To extract any secrets from the Osborne Family won’t be easy."

"Even you can’t?" Nathan Foster asked.

Langston Caldwell had deep connections with the Osborne Family.

Langston was silent again, and after a while, he said, "I left when I was young, and I don’t know what happened back then. In short, after my father sent me away, I never saw him again. I thought about going back to find him, but when my father sent me away, he told me not to return if I left. To this day, I have not gone back."
